The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1772: Cain vs the Sun Lord - Final Battle

The entity attempted to channel his energy once more, only to be abruptly interrupted by a searing pain that violently assaulted his mind, forcing him to halt his cultivation. Immediately, a furious light burst forth from the numerous golden eyes embedded in his wings, brimming with rage and bitter resentment.

”Damn you! Damn you! Damn you, little lizard!” The one screaming in frustration was none other than the Sun Lord, and the target of his burning rage was, of course, Cain Laurifer.

Cain’s actions in the First Realm had left deep wounds on the Sun Lord’s cultivation. By consuming his avatar and assimilating its essence, Cain had forcibly stripped away a significant portion of the Sun Lord’s comprehension of the Oniric Truth of Dominion—a devastating blow that severely harmed his foundation.

Yet, what truly tormented him was not merely this setback. It was the insidious curse embedded deep within his soul by the Demon King, a merciless curse that ignited his own darkest emotions, causing his hidden evil desires to continuously burn away at his soul. This constant agony had nearly shattered his entire Divine Kingdom.

Despite this immense suffering, the Sun Lord dared not entertain thoughts of vengeance against the Demon King. Just the thought alone terrified him to his core, and he considered himself extraordinarily fortunate that such a powerful monster had simply passed him by without finishing him off when he ascended through the Second Realm.

”I swear, you little ant,” the Sun Lord hissed venomously, trembling with barely controlled rage, ”as soon as I recover, I’ll make you suffer a fate far worse than death!”

Under normal circumstances, the Sun Lord’s powerful soul and psychic force granted him unparalleled control over his emotions, allowing him to remain eternally calm and detached. However, the Demon King’s curse shattered that emotional control, sending his feelings spiraling out of control at the slightest provocation.

Once again, he felt an agonizing sensation spread throughout his mind, his emotions flaring uncontrollably. He clenched his teeth, fighting desperately to stabilize his soul force, attempting to suppress the painful flames within him. But just as he was finally about to regain control, the unthinkable occurred.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!”

A colossal explosion thundered across the chaotic ocean beyond the Second Realm, shaking the very foundations of reality itself. This was no mere exaggeration; the shimmering golden dome that protected and encompassed the Sun Lord’s Divine Kingdom was shattered in an instant, leaving behind a jagged, gaping scar that cut deeply into the kingdom’s crystalline barrier.

Shock and horror instantly filled the Sun Lord’s multitude of golden eyes. He turned his gaze to the massive breach in his once-impregnable defenses, quickly identifying the source of the devastating assault. Standing proudly just beyond the newly formed gap was a fearsome demonic figure, an entity of immense size, powerfully muscled, crowned with imposing horns. In the entity’s hands was a massive black sword that pulsed with terrifyingly destructive energy.

Even though the appearance had dramatically changed, the Sun Lord immediately recognized that overwhelming aura—an aura he could never forget.

”CAIN LAURIFER!” The Sun Lord’s scream, filled with absolute hatred and wrath, resonated throughout the entirety of his Divine Kingdom, reaching every corner and echoing infinitely into the chaotic expanse beyond.

In an instant, millions of life forms within the Divine Kingdom simultaneously turned their eyes toward the sky, their gazes filled with identical hatred and anger.

Cain could sense every one of these gazes, yet he immediately realized they belonged solely to a single consciousness. Every being here was merely an extension of the Sun Lord, their original souls and individual egos long since suppressed and replaced by the Sun Lord’s oppressive Oniric Truth of Dominion.

”Perfect,” Cain thought, a cold, ruthless smile spreading across his face. ”That means I don’t need to hold back or worry about collateral damage.”

Without hesitation, Cain surged through the shattered dome, accelerating rapidly as scarlet flames enveloped his body, transforming him into a blazing red meteor aimed directly at the core castle at the heart of the Divine Kingdom.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!”

Just as this blazing red meteor approached within a few hundred meters of the castle, an enormous defensive barrier flared to life, intercepting Cain’s attack. However, although it halted his direct assault, it could not prevent the colossal waves of flame and destruction from erupting in all directions. These destructive energies spread relentlessly, turning everything around into burning ruin.

”YOU DAMNED LIZARD!” the Sun Lord roared once more, his voice echoing with divine wrath, powerful enough to reach beyond the boundaries of his domain.

He didn’t hesitate for even a second longer. Drawing upon the full power of his Divine Kingdom, the Sun Lord covered his body in a torrent of white flames infused with the radiant golden brilliance of Origin Power. This exponentially enhanced his combat strength, allowing him to transform into a blinding solar beam. With this unstoppable momentum, he shot out from the kingdom’s core castle, directly clashing with Cain’s scarlet meteor.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!”

An immense explosion shook the entire region as the two powerful forces collided head-on. Flames imbued with Origin Power and crimson flames enhanced with pure destructive might clashed violently, each combatant momentarily knocked backward by the titanic force.

Yet neither paused for even a fraction of a moment—they immediately surged back into battle, continuously smashing against one another again and again, each collision growing increasingly fierce and catastrophic.

From below, the countless inhabitants of the Divine Kingdom observed the heavens not with terror, but with furious intensity, as they were merely reflections of the Sun Lord’s own mind and heart.

Within mere seconds, Cain and the Sun Lord had clashed a total of ninety-nine times. Each collision unleashed waves of destruction, reducing once-majestic structures—some of which had stood proud for hundreds of thousands of years—into mere ruins. Streets flooded with rivers of molten fire, creating a scene of absolute devastation.

Yet, despite the horrific destruction, the Divine Kingdom remained standing. A Divine Kingdom, after all, was an exceptionally majestic creation, and as long as its core remained intact, it would never completely fall.

Then, as both Cain and the Sun Lord gathered all their remaining power for the one-hundredth collision, their auras surged to even greater heights, reaching an unprecedented peak.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM!”

This ultimate collision was so powerful that it caused the entire Divine Kingdom to violently tremble. Cain’s immense black sword finally clashed directly with the Sun Lord’s brilliant golden spear, their tremendous might bringing their relentless advance to a halt.

Cain’s flesh and blood burned with a dark metallic aura as the Third Realm Reaper Touch ability enveloped his entire form. His destructive presence radiated outward, embodying absolute annihilation. Opposite him stood the Sun Lord, now radiating a fierce, overwhelming might in his enhanced battle form.
