The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1762: Tiamat

Cain and Bahamut had never seen this form before, but the moment they laid eyes on her, they knew who she was.

“Tiamat!” The Lord of Ages roared, his previously aloof expression twisted into raw fury.

He was an ancient entity, a being before whom trillions bowed in fear and reverence. It had been so long since he had bled, he had nearly forgotten the color of his own blood. And now, seeing it spill once more, his fury ignited like a dying star roaring back to life.

“Hmph. You dare to roar like that in my presence?” Rather than cower or restrain herself in the face of the Lord of Ages’ wrath, Tiamat roared back—louder, fiercer, and with even more unshakable power.

Her aura surged, expanding across the sky, enveloping the world in a blinding radiance that seemed to stretch endlessly. Lightning crackled in her wake, space trembled, and the very fabric of reality seemed to bow before her presence.

The Lord of Ages’ eyes still burned with hatred, but as he felt the weight of the Dragon Empress’s power, a flicker of shock—even fear—crossed his ancient gaze. This wasn’t the Tiamat he had clashed with before. Her aura had grown, transcended—her cultivation had taken a step forward.

Realizing that absolute victory was no longer within his grasp, the Lord of Ages’ eyes narrowed. He calmed his rage, using his chains to wrap around the Star Man, forming a protective cocoon of glowing black iron. Without a word, he began to prepare his escape.

But Tiamat’s voice cut through the air, sharp as a blade.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

Before the Lord of Ages could teleport away, her aura flooded the fabric of space-time itself, warping it, sealing off escape routes, and locking him in place. His eyes widened, a flicker of coldness flashing in their depths.

“Are you… challenging me to a battle? Do you wish to spark an Eternal War?”

His voice was low, dangerous, a storm coiled beneath the surface. Even if Tiamat had become stronger, the Lord of Ages was no being to be trifled with. He was an ArchDeity, one of the rulers of the Second Realm, and war with him would shake the cosmos.

But there was no fear in Tiamat’s gaze. No hesitation. Her eyes, glowing with infinite determination, met his without flinching as she continued.

“I sent a decree across the Second Realm—that the Scarlet King, the Sacred Child of the Three Moons, and the Leader of the Tiamat Sect were under my protection.”

Her aura surged higher, rising like a storm. The sky cracked, lightning tore through the clouds, and the very air seemed to collapse inward as if space itself could no longer withstand the weight of her words.

“You dared to ignore my words… and attack them.” Her voice thundered, resonating with divine authority. “If you think you can simply leave… then you really don’t know me.”

The Lord of Ages stared at her for a long, tense moment—an ancient, calculating gaze that seemed to pierce through the very fabric of time. Then, with a subtle flick of his wrist, he conjured a fist-sized golden sphere, casting it toward Tiamat. Without another word, he broke through the bindings of space-time and vanished from the ruined battlefield, leaving behind only silence and scorched earth.

Meylin and Bahamut could not help but stare at the golden sphere in awe. They could feel it—inside that sphere was Origin Power, the very force that had allowed them to evolve at such an impossible speed. Of course, compared to the amount they had earned by unifying the First Realm, the amount within the sphere was like a glass of water next to a pool. Still, the mere fact that the higher echelons of the Crimson World used Origin Power as a form of currency was staggering.

Cain, thanks to the memories he had stolen from the Sun Lord, already knew this. But seeing it firsthand still sent a shiver down his spine.

The trio didn’t dwell long on the golden sphere. Their attention quickly shifted back to the one who had saved them—the Dragon Empress.

Tiamat noticed their gazes and smiled softly, her earlier fierceness melting into a warm, almost maternal peace.

“I know you have many questions,” she said, her voice a gentle wind after a raging storm. “But this is not the place for talk. Follow me—to my Eternal Kingdom.”

Cain, Meylin, and Bahamut nodded in unison, understanding the unspoken gravity of her words. Without hesitation, they followed her, rising into the skies behind the Dragon Empress.

Space-time itself seemed to morph in their path. Tiamat’s presence twisted the very fabric of reality, allowing them to travel millions of kilometers in mere minutes. They soared across realms, their surroundings blurring into streaks of light and energy—until, at last, they saw it.

And what they saw stole the breath from their lungs.

Before them lay a kingdom of impossible scale, a testament to draconic grandeur and celestial artistry. It was a place where the laws of reality seemed to bend in reverence, a monument to the Dragon Empress’s eternal dominion.

The city stretched endlessly, a labyrinth of radiant spires, towering citadels, and sweeping bridges that gleamed like molten gold under an unending, luminous sky. The very air shimmered with cosmic energy, every stone a conduit of power, every breath a taste of divinity.

Massive dragon statues, their scales shimmering like sunlight on water, perched atop the monumental towers—silent guardians of the realm. These colossal dragons, their wings spanning entire districts and claws embedded into the golden walls, radiated an aura of slumbering fury, as if they might awaken at any moment to unleash devastation.

Smaller dragons, elegant yet fierce, soared through the air, weaving between the towers, their wings carving through the golden haze like blades of fire. The architecture was a breathtaking fusion of imperial might and celestial elegance—slender spires crowned with swirling orbs of light, domes that pulsed with cosmic power, and arches that bridged dimensions.

Rivers of liquid starlight flowed through the city, cascading from hidden sources within the citadel’s core, nourishing the golden lands with endless, radiant energy. The streets were paved with shimmering golden pathways, each step resonating with the heartbeat of the universe itself.

At the center of it all stood the Dragon Throne—an immense, spiraling structure shaped like an eternal dragon coil, woven from the very essence of the kingdom. It radiated an aura so powerful that the air around it hummed with the breath of cosmic flame. It was the heart of the realm, the seat of the Dragon Empress, the source of her dominion.

The entire kingdom felt timeless, as if the heartbeat of the universe itself pulsed through the golden stones. The roar of dragons was the wind; the fire of creation was the air. It was a realm where mortals became legends and where the impossible was born from the breath of the Empress.

Cain inhaled deeply, overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of it all. Thanks to his understanding of the Crimson World’s cultivation system, he knew this Eternal Kingdom was not just a structure—it was an extension of Tiamat’s very existence.

It was the source of her immortality!
