The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1739: To the Peak of the Soul Realm (II)

Cain could feel his body growing stronger with each passing day, but deep inside, he knew it was still far from enough. His eyes burned with a relentless desire for power, an all-consuming fire that refused to be extinguished. He continued his training with unwavering focus, allowing nothing to distract him from his path.

Every day, more and more of the liquid fire surged into his body, nurturing his draconic constitution and fueling the birth of his next Doomsday Star. Thanks to the boundless might of his soul and the resonance of his True Name, there were no barriers slowing his evolution.

Time passed in quiet determination. Day turned to night, then back to day, over and over in seamless repetition. Cain remained still, his body immersed in the celestial pool, his mind laser-focused. His thoughts were like sharpened blades, cutting through all distractions. Two and a half months after the awakening of his Sixth Doomsday Star, a new transformation gripped his body.

His Immortal Dragon Path advanced to the Late Stage, once again enhancing the strength of his flesh and blood and greatly amplifying the devouring force woven into every cell of his being. He could feel the density of his muscle fibers, the toughness of his scales, and the relentless pulse of vitality that made his body an unstoppable weapon.

But Cain was not blinded by the rush of power. He took care to stabilize his cultivation, mastering every increment of growth before pushing forward again.

Three more weeks passed. Then, one day, a brilliant dot of light manifested on his flesh—a new star being born. This one glowed with a radiance more intense than any of the previous six. Its power rippled outward, carving tremors through the fabric of reality itself. This was no ordinary advancement. This was the culmination of cosmic destruction—the manifestation of the Absolute Destruction Doomsday Star.

Even Cain, who had long grown used to overwhelming energy, couldn’t help but tremble. He clenched his fists as he felt the sheer, unimaginable destructive force coursing through him. His body was now a perfect vessel for annihilation, a fusion of divine vitality and apocalyptic strength.

But one final push remained.

He continued to cultivate, directing the last threads of energy into his body. Less than six months after returning to the Crimson World, Cain finally achieved what few had even dreamed possible.

His Immortal Dragon Path had reached the Peak Stage.

Every aspect of his soul, body, and energy had been pushed to the absolute limit of the Soul Realm.

“Supercomputer Assistant,” Cain said with calm intensity, “analyze me.”

In seconds, the robotic voice echoed within his mind.

“Amazing,” Cain whispered. His eyes glowed with excitement and satisfaction.

Thanks to the evolution of both his Neo-Demon Path and Immortal Dragon Path, his physical body was nearing the power of a True Primordial, even though he had not yet stepped into the Third Realm. The improvement was phenomenal.

Of course, these stats were still below those of his Primordial Body back in the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, especially his vitality. However, even if they were equal, Cain knew he would still be far weaker. What truly made him terrifying wasn’t only his body, but his willpower.

His Ego Eternal Path of Power had already advanced into the Third Realm, with a talent ranked within the First Order. It was this synergy that made him capable of battling and even defeating Peak Prima Deities.

He didn’t dwell too long on comparisons. There was more pressing business to attend to.

Now that he had reached the absolute peak of what the Soul Realm could offer, Cain turned his attention toward the Scarlet Crusade.

“Meylin has led the crusade with ferocity,” he thought, examining the flow of data from the Eternal Ascendant Network. “Her command over the Depravita Path of Pride has skyrocketed.”

Her growth was astounding. She could now face off against two Peak Void Eclipse Legends, even if they were being directly empowered by Prima Deities.

A proud smile appeared on Cain’s face. The synergy between him and Meylin had been instrumental. The constant stream of energy she received from the network allowed her to fight without fear of exhaustion, and her regenerative capabilities made her a nightmare on the battlefield.

“They’ve already conquered seven continents,” Cain mused. “But things are different on the eighth.”

His expression grew somber.

“They’re up against the forces of Lilith, the Blood Queen, and Lucius, the Beast God,” he said aloud.

The frown on his face deepened as he sifted through the intelligence reports.

These two weren’t ordinary opponents. They were both Prima Deities of the Second Realm of the Crimson World, and more than that, they were partners in the strangest sense.

According to the memories Cain had stolen from the Sun Lord, their relationship bordered on madness—sometimes trying to kill each other, and other times acting like passionate lovers. But regardless of their internal chaos, they were always unified when facing external threats.

Their unity, combined with the endless flow of divine energy from their deity-level supporters, made the Blood Covenant and Silver Peak—the twin ruling factions of the Bloodmar Continent—exceptionally dangerous. Even with the Eternal Ascendant Network empowering the Scarlet Crusade, those two organizations maintained a firm grip on the core of the continent.

That grip prevented the planting of the Dark Root, the vital first step in birthing a Dark Tree, which was essential to permanently altering the ley lines of the Crimson World.

The more Cain analyzed the situation, the clearer it became.

“If we keep proceeding as we are, we’ll hit a wall,” he thought. “Something has to change. A new strategy must be implemented.”

But even though time was of the essence, Cain knew better than to rush.

If they acted without precision, the result could be catastrophic—thousands of lives lost, and all their hard-earned progress thrown away.

Cain stood in silent meditation, reviewing thousands of simulations, analyzing every path, every move, every possibility.

Then, finally, after what felt like hours, clarity struck.

A new path emerged—bold, calculated, and dangerous.
