The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1722: Massive boost to Soul Force

Silence returned to the Encroaching Darkness, broken only by the slow footsteps of Cain.

The silver star on his forehead flickered faintly before finally fading away. His Primordial body was in critical condition—internal bleeding, ruptured organs, cracked bones—symptoms of the immense strain brought on by activating Fourth Gear.

Yet, thanks to the regenerative capabilities of his Pseudo-Immortal Body, Cain remained standing, albeit barely. His face was pale, drenched in sweat, and every breath came with effort. Still, he advanced forward.

After a few moments, he came to a halt before the shattered form of the Deus Behemoth.

Michael lay in a crater of broken stone, his once-mighty body completely mangled. Nearly every bone in his frame had been fractured or shattered, his internal organs ruptured, his energy pool critically eroded, and his soul force unstable and scattered. He tried to breathe, but his collapsed lung and shattered ribs offered no aid. Death clung to him like a shadow.

Cain looked down, his voice soft but resolute.

“I must say… it was a good fight. I’m at my absolute limit.”

He nodded in solemn respect—then his expression turned cold and merciless.

“But now… the fight is over.”

Without hesitation, Cain grabbed Michael by the throat, lifting the broken warrior effortlessly into the air. The Scarlet Throne materialized behind him, its presence casting a red hue across the surrounding darkness. Horror flashed in Michael’s fading eyes as he saw the gate of the throne open—he understood what was about to happen, but he had no strength left to resist.

A moment later, Michael’s soul and ego were torn from his broken body and dragged into the throne.

Cain’s eyes narrowed as he watched. Along with the spiritual essence and ego, he noticed a third force being consumed—a fusion of bloodline and spiritual force.

“The Soul Bloodline has a spiritual component. It made sense that it could be assimilated into the throne.”

A wide smile crossed Cain’s face.

As the gates of the Scarlet Throne slammed shut, a surge of vitality and spiritual power surged through Cain’s veins and mind. It felt like a flood of divine energy, rejuvenating him at the very edge of collapse.

“Excellent.”

He couldn’t help but speak aloud. Even with his evolution into a Primordial, defeating Michael had pushed him to the brink. It had been a battle of attrition, willpower, and strategy, and only now—after consuming his enemy’s essence—could Cain truly breathe again.

Without wasting any time, he turned to Michael’s corpse and sent a stream of energy into it, preserving its form. While the body had lost its Soul Bloodline, which was central to the Deus Behemoth’s power, it remained an immensely valuable resource.

With that task done, Cain finally sat down cross-legged and began to meditate.

The World Strength flowing through him acted as a living current, revitalizing his body and restoring his strength. Thanks to his newly evolved form, his recovery was astonishing. What would normally take days or weeks was completed in mere hours.

In under six hours, Cain returned from the edge of collapse to peak condition.

“System, scan me,” he said aloud the moment he opened his eyes.

Immediately, the cold, mechanical voice of the Absolute Life Form System echoed in his mind.

Note:

World Strength has augmented the Vessel’s physical attributes, energy pools, and soul force (values in parentheses).

Wave Virus within the Vessel has boosted energy assimilation and cultivation speed by 7.1%.]

Cain’s eyes lit up as the results appeared.

His strength, speed, and vitality had risen by more than 20% thanks to his transformation into a full-fledged Primordial, but that wasn’t even the most shocking part.

“The World Strength coursing through me is so dense, my true values are nearly double their base!”

Now that his body, energy, and soul were fully unified, the World Strength could move through him freely—revealing its full might and granting a power boost of overwhelming proportions.

But the most astonishing discovery came when he focused on one specific stat.

Soul Force.

An increase of nearly 40%.

Cain laughed aloud, elated.

“Hahahaha! This is insane!” he shouted, his voice echoing across the void.

Soul Force wasn’t just a stat. It was the foundation of perception, comprehension, and potential across all Paths of Power. It dictated one’s connection to Laws and the universe itself.

And for Cain, it meant something even more.

“I can feel it… Just a little longer, and my soul will reach the level of a Prima Deity. When that happens, I can evolve the System Modules once more!”

The thought made Cain’s heart race with anticipation. The Absolute Life Form System was already powerful in its current form—but if it reached the Third Realm…

It would become something unimaginable.

“Now that my body, energy, and soul are one, every improvement to my physical form or energy pool will automatically enhance my soul. It’s just a matter of time now.”

Cain’s eyes gleamed with ambition.
