The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1730: Devoured by a black hole

“Fifth Gear.”

The moment those two words left Cain’s lips, an explosive heartbeat—so fierce it seemed to ripple through the very fabric of space—erupted from his chest.

Instantly, his blood vessels and internal organs strained under the monstrous surge of blood and energy racing through him. Yet thanks to his Primordial body, strengthened further by Proto-Laws and nourished by the oceanic psychic power drawn from the Lord of Conquest Leviathan, Cain managed to withstand this overwhelming surge.

His strength and speed skyrocketed to unparalleled heights, while the faint silver star hovering upon his forehead burned brighter and clearer than ever before. The intoxicating surge of power nearly blinded him with exhilaration, yet Cain’s mind remained utterly focused on the battle ahead, razor-sharp clarity guiding his every movement.

Divine Calamity had just reappeared, swiftly preparing his next devastating attack, when Cain materialized directly in front of him. Cain’s entire body was now a deep, unsettling crimson, blood dripping from his eyes, ears, and nose, making him resemble a monstrous fiend summoned straight from the darkest depths of purgatory itself.

Divine Calamity’s eyes widened sharply, realizing he had to react immediately. With an instinctive burst, he unleashed a fierce gravitational pulse from his body, desperately attempting to blast Cain away.

The pulse caused Cain’s bones to tremble violently, yet it failed to halt his unstoppable advance. Cain swung the Shooting Star Dragon Halberd forward once more, unleashing a devastating slash.

The blade tore deeply into Divine Calamity’s right shoulder, piercing straight through flesh, muscles, and bone, nearly severing the limb outright.

“Dammit!” Divine Calamity roared, consumed by a mixture of agony and furious disbelief.

Forced to adapt to Cain’s relentless close combat, Divine Calamity summoned a powerful blade formed from pure gravitational force into his left hand. Normally reliant on distance and magical spells, he now found himself forced into brutal melee combat against Cain, whose speed and relentless momentum prevented him from maintaining any distance.

With lethal intent, Divine Calamity swung the gravitational blade toward Cain’s torso, the deadly weapon seemingly pulling Cain towards its deadly edge. Reacting with lightning reflexes, Cain attempted to dodge backward, but it was too late to avoid the attack completely.

Although Cain avoided a lethal blow, the gravitational blade sliced across his chest, tearing open his flesh and shredding muscle fibers apart.

Cain’s Pseudo-Immortal Body was already pushed to its limits, merely keeping him intact under the colossal strain of Fifth Gear, leaving it unable to rapidly heal this severe wound.

However, Cain did not falter or show fear. Instead, he retaliated instantly, delivering another vicious blow with the Shooting Star Dragon Halberd, leaving yet another deep, burning gash on Divine Calamity’s already battered body.

What followed was a ruthless and chaotic exchange—a raw display of absolute brutality. Cain continued to leave deep, scorched wounds across the Omega Clone’s body, each strike methodical and fierce. Meanwhile, Divine Calamity’s gravitational blade carved and tore away large sections of Cain’s flesh, leaving behind horrendous injuries.

Within merely thirty seconds, both combatants reached critical conditions. Cain felt his heart skip several beats, trembling dangerously under the severe damage it was sustaining. This slight hesitation lasted less than a nanosecond, yet at their accelerated pace of battle, it was more than enough time for Divine Calamity to deliver a potentially fatal blow.

The Omega Clone’s gravitational blade swung upward with lethal precision, aiming directly at Cain’s head. There was no chance to dodge and blocking such a powerful attack was futile. Yet in this critical moment, Cain did not reveal fear or despair. Instead, a bloody, twisted smile stretched across his face—a grin so menacing that even demons would shudder in fear.

Abandoning his halberd completely, Cain’s left hand shot forward with impossible speed, his index and middle fingers reaching directly towards the gravitational blade’s deadly edge. Divine Calamity’s eyes widened in shock as the gravitational blade—formed from the life essence of the Omega Clone itself—was suddenly absorbed into Cain’s left arm, vanishing entirely.

“BOOOM!”

An enormous explosion erupted an instant later, Cain’s left arm utterly obliterated in a violent burst of blood and flesh. Divine Calamity’s savage face twisted into a triumphant sneer, believing that Cain’s last desperate maneuver had failed spectacularly.

Yet, even with his left arm completely destroyed and a gory wound gushing blood, Cain’s determination did not waver. The immense energy from the gravitational blade—though devastating to his left arm—had traveled swiftly through his body, purified within his core, and rapidly redirected into his right arm.

Gritting his teeth, Cain’s eyes blazed with defiance as he spat venomously, “Fuck you.” With those words, Cain aimed his right hand directly at Divine Calamity’s chest and unleashed the accumulated energy at point-blank range.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM!”

Divine Calamity was violently blasted downward into the ground by a torrent of energy so intense it surpassed even the established limits of the Prima Deity Rank.

This second massive explosion triggered yet another tremor across the entire Endlessdeath Continent, leaving all nearby Peak Prima Deities horrified, scrambling to discern what entity could have unleashed such devastating power.

Cain’s vision blurred, his consciousness clouded by overwhelming pain, blood loss, and sheer exhaustion. Yet, he couldn’t afford to rest or even momentarily let his guard down. Determined to confirm his victory and seize the memories and secrets from the fragment of Divine Calamity’s ego, he pushed himself forward, descending towards the smoking crater.

However, just as Cain moved to approach the devastated Omega Clone, a faint yet majestic Evolution Core rose abruptly from the shattered ground below, shimmering with an ominous dark glow.

Before Cain could react, Divine Calamity’s hoarse voice echoed, carrying absolute finality:

“Eternal Core Collapse.”

In a heartbeat, the glowing Evolution Core imploded violently, birthing a terrifying black hole. Immediately, Cain’s instincts erupted in sheer panic, screaming out a desperate warning he couldn’t ignore. He turned and attempted to flee with every ounce of strength left in his battered body, yet the black hole’s immense gravitational pull was absolute and unstoppable.

No matter how desperately Cain struggled, the relentless gravitational force overwhelmed him completely. In less than a single second, the infinite gravity of the newborn singularity engulfed Cain, pulling him inexorably into its crushing darkness.

Helpless, Cain vanished into the all-consuming void, his form devoured by the absolute power of the black hole.
