Endless Winter: My Camp Upgrades Infinitely

Chapter 1304: Chapter 427: The Purpose of the Hongmen Martial Arts Competition, Advancement of the Ancestral Festival Day_2

Lastly, there is the Camp Supply Department. Most of these people are here for the cultivation resources of the Treasure Tower, and the goods sold by merchants and vendors in South City. We shall let the Camp Supply Headquarters in Xia City allocate more supplies, to satisfy these people’s needs, while also earning more silver for the camp.

As long as these three tasks are handled well, after the end of the Martial Arts Competition, the total population of the Hongmen will not drop too drastically.”

Upon hearing Lin Kai’s words, Kong Xiu, Zhao Bao, and Li Longkai immediately clasped their fists and nodded solemnly in response: ”We will comply!”

Lin Kai looked at the seven people below, suddenly smiling slightly, he asked: ”The year-end assessments from last year, you all should be Class B, correct?”

Upon hearing this question, the seven people below, including Liu Yuan and Zhao Bao, immediately became a bit excited, nodding vigorously.

The current official system of Great Xia is gradually maturing.

Every end of year, the Eight Departments of Xia City conduct a centralized assessment for all officials. Based on the officials’ achievements over the past year, along with other various performances, a rating is given. Then, according to your official rank, you receive the corresponding year-end stipend rewards.

Of course, beyond the year-end stipend, this rating is also marked in your personal record, affecting the maintenance and promotion of your future duties.

Thus, this year-end assessment naturally becomes the most concerning matter for all Great Xia officials, and nothing else compares.

The year-end assessment system started in the Third Year of Da Xia and has been in practice for six years now, with the assessment rules gradually becoming complete and mature.

The effectiveness of the rating is determined by achievements, which account for at least seventy percent of the factors. The achievements of an official are generally determined by the total sum of the revenue creation value of the site he is stationed at each year.

It’s quite obvious; the original intention of Great Xia in setting external sites was ultimately for the central Xia City to acquire resources, and the revenue creation value is the final data that reflects how much a site has acquired resources. Naturally, the higher the value, the better the work done by the responsible person for the site.

Hongmen was taken over by Great Xia only last April, and officially commenced in July. Strictly speaking, it’s not even a full year yet. But even so, the total revenue creation value of Hongmen last year ranked 10th amongst a multitude of large sites, second only to the six districts of the Outer City, as well as the three large external sites of Long Mountain, Wuyuan, and Bashang.

With this commendable achievement, the ratings of the heads of the Hongmen Eight Departments were all above Class B.

Lin Kai himself is above Class B, and if he remembers correctly, only Liu Yuan has the same rating as him among these seven people present. For the rest of the six people, Li Longkai is mid-Class B, while the other five are all lower-Class B.

The Class B rating for fourth-rank officials, divided into upper, middle, and lower, means a stipend reward of 1.8 to 1.2 million Contribution Value points. This is why the seven people reacted so excitedly when he brought up last year’s ratings.

A one-time income of over a million Contribution Value points is an enticing affair, even for these middle and senior Great Xia members. Not to mention, the higher the rating, the greater the Contribution Value rewards, and there are even better additional rewards for Class A.

Naturally, Lin Kai did not bring up last year’s year-end assessment without a reason. Liu Yuan, the Commander of the Military Department, was the first to respond, laughingly asking: ”My lord, with this momentum, should our Hongmen’s total revenue creation value reach the top five this year?”

Upon hearing this question, everyone’s eyes instantly filled with fervor, each turning their heads to look at Lin Kai at the front.

”Top five?”

Lin Kai reacted with a somewhat peculiar expression, then looked at the group, with a slightly cautious tone, ”I returned to Xia City for reporting at the beginning of the month, and without counting May, for the first four months this year, our Hongmen’s accumulated revenue creation value ranked seventh among all large sites within the camp, second only to the four districts, East One, East Two, East Four, East Five, of Xia City, along with the two external sites of Long Mountain and Bashang...”

Upon hearing this ranking, the seven people immediately expressed excitement and joy on their faces.

Lin Kai seemed dissatisfied with their reaction, smiling with fervor and continuing, ”I estimate, with the addition of May’s revenue creation value, our Hongmen’s ranking can advance two more positions.”

Advancing two positions from seventh would make it fifth!

Their expressions instantly trembled, and their joyful faces grew even more intense.

No wonder Liu Yuan mentioned breaking into the top five earlier, Lin Kai had such a reaction. If the momentum holds, breaking into the top three seems inevitable for Hongmen this year, and perhaps they might even contend for the championship.

”The site ranked first in revenue creation value, the officials of the Eight Departments have a rating where the lowest is mid-Class A. According to the calculation of fourth-rank official grades, the minimum stipend rewards are 2.5 million Contribution Value points. Additionally, they can customize a weapon with the Craftsmen Department, and during the Cold Yuan Banquet at the year-end, there will be the Lord’s extra reward...”

Upon hearing Zhao Bao’s whisper, Liu Yuan and the six others, including Lin Kai at the forefront, couldn’t help but fall into contemplation, with their fervent gaze deepening further.

Finally, Lin Kai was the first to recover from the contemplation, his voice carrying a hint of encouragement, ”Ladies and gentlemen, the benefits of being first are vast, but Hongmen isn’t the only one coveting.

Let’s not talk about the few districts ranked high in East City; Long Mountain backs onto such a significant resource area, holding onto five silver mines; Wuyuan encompasses such a large water area; Bashang has Moao Mountain along with the Jiuqu Water Area...

It’s not easy to surpass these significant sites, and while we’re striving upwards, others won’t sit idly waiting!
