Endless Winter: My Camp Upgrades Infinitely

This doesn’t need much explanation.

The Logging Realm and Earth-digging Realm were essentially built up using Cold Beast Meat, with virtually no entry barriers.

The more people participating in cultivation, the more people in the Earth-digging Realm.

The camp’s Cold Beast Meat has been in a state of surplus for a long time, especially after gaining the ability to hunt Intermediate Cold Beasts, making the reserves even more astonishing.

Though in such icy and snowy conditions, Cold Beast Meat does not rot, leaving the surplus unused doesn’t serve much purpose.

It’s better to use it to sustain more people.

After all, left there, it’s just a pile of non-perishable meat.

But if used to support more Logging Realm and Earth-digging Realm individuals,

the benefits to the camp could be immeasurable!

Especially now, when faced with the threat of the Mirror Immortal Camp, with a population over ten thousand, the population base becomes even more critical.

“Population is our greatest issue at present!

This time, in our outward expansion, whether pioneering or recruiting, the reward in Contribution Points is set high by me for a reason,

First, because exploring unfamiliar areas is inherently dangerous.

Saying it’s a life-and-death situation is not an exaggeration.

By setting a higher reward, it gives you motivation.

Second, I hope all of you will thoroughly explore the southern areas, which will expand the camp’s territories, increase our population base, and allow you to earn more Contribution Value.

It’s a win-win situation!”

As soon as Xia Chuan finished speaking, the entire hall fell silent.

But this silence lasted only three or four breaths before it was broken.

“Lord Xia Chuan, don’t underestimate us.

No matter how dangerous pioneering is, can it be more dangerous than you hunting Intermediate Cold Beasts?

Since the leader has ordered, we must complete it even if it costs us our lives!”

As soon as this person spoke, the hesitation that appeared on the faces of others immediately disappeared, replaced by determination.

“That’s right, Contribution Points ultimately mean contributing to our Great Xia.

If we, in the Logging Realm, can’t be of help in ordinary times, and even fear this small task, can we still call ourselves men?”

“It’s just pioneering.

If we don’t dare to do this, then the Cold Beast Meat provided by the leader was wasted on us.

Even if not for the Contribution Points, I would risk my life to follow the leader’s command.”

“Afraid of death, can you call yourself a Daxia person if you’re afraid of death!”

“Pioneering, expanding the population, strengthening the camp’s power, ultimately, the leader is doing it for all of our safety.

Rest assured, Lord Xia Chuan, although our strength is not high, we will definitely not be cowardly!”

“Whoever is afraid of death, stand up.

I’ll be the first to not forgive him!”

“Those afraid of death, the Cold Beast Meat they ate must have gone down the drain, right?”

“Hahahahaha!”

…

Hearing the rising voices below, a trace of warmth flashed in Xia Chuan’s eyes.

He knew that everyone understood his intentions.

Pioneering is indeed an extremely dangerous task.

Claiming it’s a life-and-death situation is certainly not an exaggeration.

In the years around Redwood Ridge, there have been many camps appearing, but their activity range has always been limited to this eastern side, which is clear evidence;

If it were that easy to expand outward and increase the population at will, then in all these years at Redwood Ridge, there wouldn’t have been only the previous Rog and now the Great Xia, just two medium-sized camps.

The only true pioneering action the Great Xia currently has is hunting, an action led personally by Xia Hong and involving the camp’s strongest seventeen people.

But this pioneering task is different.

The camp doesn’t have spare population to do these tasks.

Last night, when Xia Hong announced that decision, Xia Chuan knew they would have to mobilize these Logging Realm individuals to handle this task.

At least until there are enough Earth-digging Realm individuals, it can’t be helped.

According to the rules of the Ice Abyss World, humans in the Logging Realm have just qualified to go out for logging.

For them, pioneering is too difficult and dangerous.

Not to mention the Cold Beasts and Deceitful Monsters, even those unknown human camps in the wild that they’ve never encountered are incredibly dangerous.

Currently, the camp has a total of seventeen Earth-digging Realm individuals, who are already overburdened with hunting low and Intermediate Cold Beasts, maintaining the territories of Redwood Ridge, and mining.

There’s no way to entrust them with pioneering tasks.

If possible, Xia Chuan would, of course, like to suggest to Xia Hong to postpone the expansion, preferably until the camp has enough Earth-digging Realm people.

But the problem is, the Mirror Immortal Camp won’t give us that much time.

As the Great Xia knows, the biggest gap with the Mirror Immortal Camp is the population.

The Mirror Immortal Camp over there must be well aware of this too!

Xia Chuan is well aware of the reasons for Xia Hong’s eagerness to expand, which is why he didn’t suggest anything but instead spent a night thinking about what to do.

The first step is, of course, to dispel the fear in the hearts of these Logging Realm individuals.

The high-value Contribution Points rewards, and the words just spoken, were his preliminary probe.

Fortunately, the results of the probe were quite good.

There are no fools in this world; everyone understands the dangers of pioneering.

No matter how many Contribution Points are given, you at least need to have a life to spend them.

Clearly, he underestimated the cohesion and dedication of these people in the camp.

More importantly, he underestimated the influence Xia Hong has in their hearts.

Hearing the sentiments expressed by those who spoke earlier, as long as it’s Xia Hong’s order, they will follow it, even at the cost of their lives.

Just from this point, Xia Chuan immediately understood.

Why last night, Xia Hong made the decision to expand with such decisiveness and confidence.
