Endless Winter: My Camp Upgrades Infinitely

247: Chapter 150 Green Bamboo Fence and Marking Stone, Expanding Territory 247: Chapter 150 Green Bamboo Fence and Marking Stone, Expanding Territory Stop all outside activities, not just because of Gao Yu, this unexpected guest.

After killing He Meng and his group, Xia Hong himself already had this plan.

Even though he had already shown his strength in front of Yuwen Hu, he was unsure of what reaction the Mirror Immortal Camp would have later.

After all, those were twenty-five lives.

And they were not ordinary people, twenty-three Earth-digging Realm, and two already at the limit of reshaping their skin in the Earth-digging Realm.

Losing so many people at once would be considered a huge loss in any camp.

“If they can endure, that would be best.

If they can’t…”

In the room on the third floor, Xia Hong slowly applied beast blood to his body, his eyes lifted slightly.

After the fight with Yuwen Hu, and learning about the Cold Resistance Level from Gao Yu, at this moment, the only thing Xia Hong feared about the Mirror Immortal Camp was their massive population.

Of course, this fear also represented a temptation for Xia Hong.

“The population of Great Xia is still too small!”

As the beast blood took effect, the expression of pain on Xia Hong’s face intensified, and he could only forcefully divert his attention by thinking about other things.

The only way to rapidly increase population is to absorb other camps, but the current activity range of the camp is too small, and there is no opportunity to even contact other camps, let alone absorb them.

Although he was envious of the population of over ten thousand in the Mirror Immortal Camp, Xia Hong was not foolish enough to think he could easily annex such a gigantic camp.

Not to mention the two Cold Resistance Level experts, Yuwen Hu and He Yuanhun, even the hundreds of Earth-digging Realm rank below them were an insurmountable problem for him.

Given the current situation, being able to retain the territory of Redwood Ridge in front of the Mirror Immortal Camp would already be the best outcome.

Annexing them would be a dream!

“Behind the Arrow Bamboo Forest is the Mirror Immortal Camp.

North from Redwood Ridge is the Pingxi Plain, where there is another Hive Camp.

Both are gigantic camps, and barring any surprises, even the scattered small camps to the north would likely have been absorbed by these two.”

“To the west is Redwood Ridge, where there are certainly no human camps;

The same goes for Twin Dragon Mountain to the east, which means…”

Xia Hong’s veins popped out as he endured the intense pain from the nerves beneath his reshaping skin, slowly raising his head to glance south of the camp.

Currently, Great Xia’s only way to expand its population and find other human camps is to go south, and according to the map left by Luo Ming, four kilometers farther south of the valley is a frozen river, which should block the south side of Twin Dragon Mountain.

“Luo Ming said there were no traces of Cold Beast activity near the river, so it shouldn’t be dangerous, and there’s also likely no human camp around.”

“That means, to find other human camps, one can only search along the south side of Twin Dragon Mountain, and the search range needs to stay as far away from that river as possible.”

As Xia Hong calculated in his mind, his wooden spoon poured 43 times on his body.

Upon realizing his carrying capacity was at its limit, he immediately stopped.

“As expected, the tolerance limit increased by another two pounds!”

The initially tested carrying limit was around 35 pounds; the second time using a total of 440 pounds of beast blood, divided into eleven times, the most he used was 41 pounds;

This time was higher, at 43 pounds.

The so-called carrying limit is simply that if he continues beyond it, he would pass out from the pain, and the system would pop up to support him using consumed resources.

Of course, after listening to Gao Yu’s explanation, Xia Hong already knew that the so-called “passing out from pain” was likely a unique case for him.

For others who don’t have a system, it would probably mean immediate death.

With this in mind, Xia Hong would not recklessly experiment, as who knows when the system might malfunction, or if his resources are insufficient.

If he were to die from a breakthrough, he might be the most unjustly treated transmigrator ever.

“In any case, there is no rush.

It’s safer to be cautious.

This round, with over 580 pounds of beast blood in total, the progress can surge again!”

Looking at the beast blood in the wooden shed, which was more than at any other time, Xia Hong’s eyes couldn’t help but flash with excitement.

Yesterday, the three intermediate Cold Beasts they brought back totaled over two hundred pounds of beast blood, mainly because Gao Yu gifted four unfamiliar intermediate Cold Beasts, which had a staggering amount of blood.

Each one averaged about ninety pounds, leading to such a large amount of beast blood.

Thinking of this, Xia Hong became interested in the Twin Dragon Mountain above the valley.

“It’s just that the mountain is too high.

If a suitable route could be explored, once Great Xia’s strength is up, Twin Dragon Mountain should be a good place for hunting!”

Of course, being interested is one thing; the mountain’s altitude exceeds two thousand meters, and being completely unknown, Xia Hong would naturally not venture up recklessly.

Even a Cold Resistance Level expert like Gao Yu could suffer such a big setback on the eastern outskirts; theoretically, the area above the valley being the deepest part of Twin Dragon Mountain’s west side, who knows what’s inside?

In the following two days, Xia Hong continuously challenged his limits, using the 43 pounds in seven rounds, and although he didn’t faint from the pain midway, he was at his limit.

On the third day, after Xia Chuan reported that Gao Yu had left, he finally felt relieved.

“Before leaving, he wanted to say goodbye to big brother, but I refused him.”

“As long as he left, the camp’s outdoor activities remain paused.

Wait until three days later when I’m done, and then we’ll talk, and the Hunting Team can continue mining.”
