Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 515: Chapter 238 Punishing Her in Her Factory (Long Chapter, Please Subscribe)

As Zhang Jingdong and his group were rushing to Tianyi Clothing Factory, at this very moment in the director’s office of the factory, Liang Feng was on the phone with Shu Ran.

Liang Feng said: ”Teacher Shu, we are leaving tomorrow. You should have some time this afternoon, right? Shall we go shopping for gear together?”

Shu Ran hesitated for a moment, then responded: ”Sister Feng, I... I have something to do this afternoon, I might not be able to accompany you.”

”Have you got all your gear?”

”...Not yet.”

”Then we are leaving tomorrow. When are you going to buy it?”

”Actually... Alright, I might need to go buy gear with him this afternoon.”

Liang Feng immediately said: ”I was wondering why you were hesitating. Turns out you prioritize your boyfriend over friends, huh? You can’t accompany me because you’re with your boyfriend, is that it?”

”Ah, those dramas really don’t exaggerate, huh? Once a woman gets a boyfriend, she starts neglecting her best friends!”

Shu Ran quickly retorted: ”That’s not true! If I really put my boyfriend first I wouldn’t have joined this event to accompany you, and I even put so much effort into getting him to join as well!”

”Alright, my bad for blaming you. But since that’s the case, how about all three of us go shopping for gear this afternoon? What do you think?”

”This...” Shu Ran thought quickly, before answering: ”That might not be... great.”

”Anyway, I will meet him tomorrow, so today is a good opportunity to get acquainted in advance. Teacher Shu, I am your best friend, right? Ever since you admitted to having a boyfriend, you haven’t even let me see him, do you think that’s appropriate?”

”But...”

Seeing that Shu Ran was still hesitating, Liang Feng continued: ”Besides, Teacher Shu, you’re my best friend, almost my only friend. Could you really bear to let me stroll around and shop alone? That’d be so pitiful!”

With Liang Feng pressing her, Shu Ran had no choice but to say: ”Then... fine, I’ll give him a call.”

”What!? You actually have to ask for his permission? Teacher Shu, I am getting jealous! Have I really become that unimportant in your heart?”

”But I should at least inform him and prepare him mentally, right? Otherwise, it would be so awkward later.”

”Okay then, go ahead and ask him. But I also want to know, if he tells you not to bring me, will you still let me come?”

”He won’t do that.”

”What if?”

”Then I’d just go buy gear with him in the afternoon and accompany you in the evening, is that alright?”

”I knew it, Teacher Shu still cares deeply about our sisterhood. Fine, you’ve passed the test. Call him, and if he really objects, then I’ll just go by myself. Who says I can’t be magnanimous!”

”Tch... I’ve got a boyfriend now, okay? I’ll catch up to you soon!”

”That’s not certain, Teacher Shu. Some things are given by fate and can’t be changed by human effort.”

”I can’t talk to you about this anymore, I’m going to call my boyfriend!”

Liang Feng looked at the disconnected phone, a rare hint of loss in her eyes.

Firstly, she was a little hurt by Shu Ran’s last words.

Secondly, she felt somewhat neglected.

Then an idea suddenly popped into her head: maybe she should get a boyfriend too.

Honestly, she had never considered this before, and for a long time, she even loathed men.

That all stemmed from when she was 13 and accidentally saw her father holding hands with another woman on the street.

Since then, she thought all men were bad because none of them could remain truly faithful in marriage.

But in recent years, she had started to understand a bit more; love and marriage are just games.

As long as you’re having fun, there’s no need to mind the outcome.

She even thought that if men could play women, she, as a woman, could play men too.

She hadn’t acted upon this idea yet, simply because she hadn’t found a suitable target.

Even if she were to play with feelings, she wanted to find a man who, at the very least, met her standards in every aspect.

Now, the reason she suddenly wanted to find a boyfriend was that she had spotted a suitable target these past few days.

She felt he was suitable because, for one, he could actually beat her in a fight, which was the most important criteria she had set for a prospective man.

Because she felt if a man couldn’t even defeat her in a fight, then he wasn’t worthy of being her sparring partner in the game of emotions.

Secondly, the guy even dared to take advantage of her, so she saw this as an opportunity to get back at him.

Right then, her phone suddenly rang.

She glanced at it and a playful smile appeared on her lips: ”Hello, Boss Zhang!”

”President Liang, I’m at the gate of your factory. I’ve changed to a black Land Rover Range Rover. Could you please let your staff let me in?”

”Sure, just a moment.”

After hanging up, Liang Feng called the gatekeeper.

Soon, the factory’s electronic sliding gate slowly opened, and the black Land Rover glided into the factory grounds, eventually parking near the workshop.

Zhang Jingdong turned to Long Yue and said, ”I’m off to handle some business; I’ll be back soon. Wait for me in the car.”

Long Yue eyed him: ”Are you refusing to cooperate with my job now?”

Zhang Jingdong laughed and shook his head: ”It’s not that I don’t cooperate with your work, but sometimes you have to learn to be flexible, you know?”

”In a factory as rigorous and large as this one, and I’m here to discuss legitimate business, and you heard it just now, the director is even a woman, there’s no way there’d be any danger!”
