Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 416: Chapter 205 Her Business Skills Are Just Too Amazing (Long Chapter Subscription Requested)

Qin Yu never expected that one day she would not be discussing work in the office, but instead, taking a class with a man.

But it really happened, just like that, unexpectedly!

And though she was extremely shocked, extremely shy, and very worried about being discovered by her colleagues outside, she did not refuse.

Even in the end, she fully accepted a certain someone’s reward.

Only now, as she regained her composure and looked around the office, did she finally feel a hint of shame.

So she turned her head and glared at the culprit: ”You... you really have some nerve! Just now, what if...”

Zhang Jingdong affectionately tucked a strand of hair behind her ear: ”Don’t worry, they may suspect that something could happen between a man and a woman alone in a room, but they would never imagine we would actually dare!”

”It’s like with the former boss of the Beautiful Country, Clinton; everyone thought since he was the boss of a country, he’d be totally by the book, but who would have believed he would do that with an intern, especially in his own office, before the scandal was exposed.”

”So, Mr. Qin, rest assured, judging by the looks from your colleagues earlier, especially the men, in their hearts you are definitely a goddess, high and cold, unblemished by the mundane world, so they would never guess what just happened here.”

Hearing him dare to say such things, Qin Yu immediately retorted with feigned annoyance: ”Hmph, you’re even mocking me now!”

”Mocking you? How could I possibly?” Zhang Jingdong smiled as he drew her closer by the shoulders: ”I just want you to understand, we don’t need to worry about what others think of us in whatever we do because we live our own lives.”

”And if we want to live a life to the fullest, without regrets, don’t tie ourselves down too much, especially not with psychological restraints.”

”You say I’m too bold because you think an office should only be for work, that nothing else should happen here, let alone taking classes; it’s like desecrating the sanctity of work!”

”But in reality, these rules are for bosses to control their employees, and bosses themselves actually love ’taking classes’ in the office, like me or Clinton.”

”So there’s no right or wrong in this matter, it’s all about whether you have the mindset of the strong or the weak. Only the weak have to follow the rules to the letter; the truly strong do as they please, making rules for others.”

”So Qin Yu, since you’ve chosen a strong boyfriend, and you yourself are truly strong, then gradually learn what real strong thinking is.”

”If you feel that because you’re not the boss of this law firm, you can’t do as you please, then I can just buy this firm for you right now. How about that?”

Qin Yu had completely accepted that Zhang Jingdong was her man, so she had some innate compliance towards him, even a growing admiration because he could do anything.

Besides, she knew Zhang Jingdong was not blustering, because he really was a big boss; he truly had the clout to talk this way and to make it happen.

So she quickly forgot her previous coyness, smiled, and waved her hand: ”That won’t be necessary... Okay, what you said just now... indeed makes a lot of sense.”

Seeing that he had convinced her, Zhang Jingdong teased her: ”Are you sure? Don’t you want to experience what it’s like to be the boss?”

Qin Yu shook her head: ”No, mainly because if I became the boss, I’d be distracted by many other things, and I just want to win cases and improve my professional skills.”

”Alright, Lawyer Qin really is someone who’s truly dedicated and focused on their professional skills. Since that’s the case, I feel very reassured entrusting you with all the legal affairs of my companies!”

Seeing him switch back to a serious topic, Qin Yu breathed a sigh of relief, softly saying: ”Thank you for your trust!”

But she didn’t expect Zhang Jingdong to suddenly frown: ”You’re thanking me?”

Qin Yu immediately caught onto his ulterior motive and tried to resist: ”Boss Zhang, you were discussing serious matters with me just now, giving me such a substantial business, of course, I have to thank you!”

Zhang Jingdong pressed on: ”Alright, since you say that, having given you such a big deal, should you just thank me with words?”

Seeing that she couldn’t escape his pursuit, Qin Yu glared at him: ”Then how do you want me to thank you?”

Zhang Jingdong grinned: ”When facing other big clients before, aside from verbal thanks, didn’t you have... other ways of thanking?”

Qin Yu knew he was laying the groundwork for a scenario, so she played along: ”Of course not!”

”Not to mention thanks, frankly speaking, with previous major clients, I’ve never even gone to meet them at the elevator, and most of the time, it’s them begging to sign an agency contract with me.”

”I believe you, but... what about me? Aside from verbal thanks, could you also thank me in other ways?”

Zhang Jingdong leaned back in his chair as he said this.

Qin Yu, continuing to go along with the scenario, flashed a coquettish look: ”Alright, since you’re not only my client but now also a teacher instructing me in that area of knowledge.”

Qin Yu pursed her lips, then stepped closer...
