Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 401: Chapter 200 Made Her Completely Fall! (Long Chapter, Subscribe Please)

Zhang Jingdong had only heard of this luxurious restaurant on the cruise ship in his past life, but today was his first time actually visiting it.

What he didn’t expect was how surprisingly large the restaurant was, occupying two whole floors – the second and the top floor – of the cruise ship, which only has three floors in total.

Not only are there stage performances here, but there is also a dance floor, billiards, and even mini-golf, making it akin to a high-end club themed around cruise dining.

Since the cruise hadn’t set sail yet, Zhang Jingdong and Qin Yu didn’t take their seats, but instead made their way to the dance floor.

Qin Yu was the epitome of high-end beauty tonight, and it was only natural for Zhang Jingdong to fully appreciate her looks.

The pair started with the simplest social dance, followed by Latin, and finally jazz.

Although Qin Yu’s dancing skills were not as professional as Lin Xiran’s, she was far better than the average amateur, and in terms of elegance and charm, she was even more enchanting than Lin Xiran.

At this point, they slowed down the pace, chatting as they danced.

Zhang Jingdong gazed intently at Qin Yu: ”Lawyer Qin, with your dancing skills, even if you weren’t a lawyer, you could definitely make a good amount of money just from performing on stage.”

Flattered by the compliment, Qin Yu replied with equal praise: ”You’re the real dance master here, alright? If it weren’t for you leading, I would have messed up my steps when we switched to Latin!”

”I haven’t professionally studied dance, but I do have an eye for it. You must have received professional training as a child, and for no short time either!”

Zhang Jingdong feigned surprise: ”Really? Do you think so?”

”Definitely.”

”Alright, I admit it, but I didn’t study for that long. There wasn’t much I could do, as something unexpected came up at that time.”

Qin Yu was immediately curious: ”What unexpected event?”

”It turned out everyone suddenly discovered I had a great talent for dancing, and they wanted me to learn it professionally, which made me less interested in practicing!”

”Why?”

”Because once a hobby becomes a tool for making money, it loses its fun!”

Qin Yu was taken aback at first but then gradually understood: ”I see, no wonder, your way of thinking has been so different since then.”

Pretending to be moved, Zhang Jingdong said: ”You’re the first person who not only doesn’t think I’m a freak for having such ideas as a kid but actually appreciates them.”

Qin Yu, clearly not a gullible college girl, blinked her beautiful eyes: ”Are you sure? What about your other... friends? Aren’t they the same?”

”They usually need me to explain a bit more before they fully understand my thinking.”

”Well, that’s actually quite normal for them.”

”That makes you even more precious and touching to me...”

Zhang Jingdong said and then stole a kiss from Qin Yu.

Qin Yu blushed with happiness: ”Tch, so you were just looking for an excuse to kiss me.”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled: ”Lawyer Qin, are you suggesting... that in such a setting I really don’t need any excuse to kiss you?”

Qin Yu once again experienced the thickness of this guy’s skin and his argumentative skills that seemed to surpass even those of a lawyer.

Yet, unusually for her, she didn’t feel the slightest bit embarrassed. Although it was her first time being kissed in public by him, just like when he introduced her as his girlfriend to that slightly threatening girl, Xiao Mei, she now inexplicably enjoyed him publicly declaring her his girlfriend.

Perhaps it was because she had been single for so many years, enduring the talk from her family and others; now she instinctively wanted to be a bit reckless.

Zhang Jingdong had been somewhat worried that she might be annoyed by him taking liberties with her in public, but seeing as she didn’t deny him and even seemed to have a glint of encouragement in her eyes, he was moved and went in for a deeper kiss.

During the ten or so minutes they kissed, the once sparse top floor gradually filled up with more people.

Since the ballroom was central to the restaurant, everyone entering could see them.

If the two of them had been of average looks and build, it might have been different, but both were stunningly attractive and had nearly flawless figures.

Especially Qin Yu, who stood nearly 1 meter 78 in high heels, and wearing a high-end evening gown, she was even more of an eye-catcher than TV actresses.

Therefore, the pair quickly became the center of attention.

Though Zhang Jingdong and Qin Yu were engrossed in each other, they gradually became aware of the increasing noise from the people around them.

After kissing for another ten minutes, Zhang Jingdong reluctantly let go of Qin Yu.

At that moment, the surrounding people finally saw their faces clearly, especially Qin Yu’s, which quickly caused a massive stir.

Apart from being dazzled by Qin Yu’s beauty and attire, some people inside recognized her.

Although most of them were not familiar with her, they all knew or had heard of her as the famed beautiful lady lawyer from Jiangdu.

Their impression had always been that Qin Yu was single, and some of them even boasted that they would make it their mission to marry the beautiful lawyer, so they wouldn’t have to pay for legal services anymore.

But now, to their astonishment, the premium beauty of a lawyer had someone in her life!

And what made them question their life choices even more was the prior image of Lawyer Qin as being cold, rigorous, dignified, generous, and even somewhat ethereal.
