My Talent Panel Can Add Points

Old Hei: You still overestimate us; we’re just a bunch of ordinary people.

Fang Pei: I suspect the main reason he doesn’t dare show himself now might be because he’s sensed the presence of the Lord of the Fierce Sun.

Fang Pei: The Lord of the Fierce Sun is an Otherworldly God, and also a divine entity of the faith-based side. If he finds out there’s a new god in this world, the final outcome might not be good.

Fang Pei: So, when He realizes this matter, He would definitely hide Himself tightly.

Divine Monarch: Indeed.

Ye Mingqiu lowered his gaze.

Theoretically, the Lord of the Fierce Sun is publicly declared to be a new god, but only the higher-ups know that he is actually a new god born from the remains of a divine entity; ordinary people would not know this.

Therefore, if that new god is not a higher-up in the Starlight Church or Silent Council, they wouldn’t know the false new god and would certainly stay far away.

Hmm, if He knows it’s a false new god, it’s likely He would stay even farther away.

....

”Knock, knock, knock!”

A rhythmic knocking sound echoed.

”Come in.”

Ye Mingqiu spoke up.

At this moment, he had already returned to the Starlight Church. Knowing there was a new god walking the world, staying in the Bone Abyss to develop was evidently very risky, so he had come back.

The Riddle Gauze was also quite full; staying there any longer wouldn’t lead to any more improvement, so coming out was also a time for the Riddle Gauze to digest energy.

”Creak!”

Sajia pushed open the door, carrying freshly brewed tea to Ye Mingqiu’s table, gently placing it down, then said, ”Venerable Sun God, please enjoy.”

With that, she turned and left.

”Wait.”

Ye Mingqiu suddenly said.

Sajia shivered slightly, then turned around, smiling as she looked at him and asked, ”Is there anything else I can help with?”

”I want to ask you a question.”

”Please go ahead.”

”Suppose you are a new god, born from the remains of a Star God; what would you do upon coming into this world?” Ye Mingqiu asked with his hands crossed in front of him.

”This...”

Sajia showed a thoughtful expression, briefly pondered, and then said, ”Hmm, can I speak freely? I can’t guarantee that what I say is accurate; there might be some mistakes.”

”No worries, please go ahead.”

Ye Mingqiu said.

”Firstly, I personally think that a new god who descends into this world is also like a newborn child, not unlike normal human children, equally possessing a side of ignorance, needing time to learn knowledge, adapt to their power and existence.”

”Although He might be born with power, that power cannot answer His questions, nor allow Him to live satisfactorily and naturally; perhaps... He would try to integrate into human society and understand this world gradually, seeking His true self.”

Sajia answered seriously.

”A very good answer.”

Ye Mingqiu nodded slightly; he felt Sajia’s words made a lot of sense. It’s no wonder she’s a Silent Council follower; her manner of speaking is far superior to those script-writing Starlight Church followers.

Indeed, newborn divinities possess great power and initial memories, but the new gods have not formed their own unique will and character, needing subsequent experiences to sculpt themselves, to genuinely become themselves, to become worthy gods.

Yes, logical and well-founded, not just assumptions.

”Bring a few more Star Sketch series books; the previous ones have been finished.”

”Yes, I’ll fetch them.”

....

After leaving the room, Sajia sighed helplessly as she wandered through the corridor, heading to the study to fetch books, all while feeling a bit fearful inside.

For good reason

She is that new god

When Ye Mingqiu first joined the Starlight Church, saying in front of her, ”I can communicate with the Star God,” she couldn’t hold back, because theoretically speaking, Ye Mingqiu could indeed communicate with the Star God... but with the newborn Star God.

Then, Ye Mingqiu, right in front of her, invoked the Fiery Sun’s Eye in the sky; at that moment, her eyes widened, and her mentality slightly exploded.

Fortunately, such a change in mentality is normal; a normal nun should be shocked, though the reason for shock might differ slightly, but overall, it’s still fine.

Then...

More terrifying things appeared!

This guy turned out to be the Lord of the Fierce Sun!

He claims to be a new god, but the issue is she herself is the new god, and she can be sure that the other doesn’t have the kind of familiar aura she feels, so he’s definitely not the new god.

This guy is a counterfeit!

He’s fake!

But she doesn’t dare to say much; at most she mentions a few reasonable speculations in front of the Archbishop, even less daring to actively reveal her identity. At the moment, she isn’t the naive newcomer she was when she first emerged; Sajia knows better than anyone how brutal human struggles can be.

Although the Lord of the Fierce Sun appears godlike on the outside, in reality, that’s likely just an act; so-called divinity is merely a life form of higher levels with stronger power, not truly divine.

That’s what she thinks.

Sajia doesn’t even have a divine title; she grew up in human society from a young age, and repeated experience has worn down her edges.

Sigh!

If I get exposed and provoke him, this guy would definitely kill me to prevent any leaks.

Damn!

He just questioned me on what a newly-born god would do; has he already guessed something? Is he warning me?

At this moment, Sajia feels anxious in her heart, yet she doesn’t dare to run away, because if she does, it would confirm her identity and admit that she is the newly-born divine.

Ah Ah Ah!

I’m in such a tough spot!

....

”An illusion, maybe?”

Ye Mingqiu looked at Sajia’s back, constantly feeling that she might not be as simple as she appeared, maybe she had some connection to the new god, yet he didn’t associate Sajia with the new god itself.

Firstly, she lacks divinity; her mannerisms are indistinguishable from ordinary humans, devoid of the typical aura divine entities give.

The night before, Ye Mingqiu had noticed Sajia hiding alone in an unused church room eating candy. He recognized that candy as the one the church sends Sajia to distribute to children once a week; it’s rumored to be quite delicious.

But that’s not a reason for her to deduct candy from the children just to sneakily eat it!

Just a few pieces, is it necessary?

Secondly, Sajia’s strength isn’t high; Ye Mingqiu has sensed her simply and directly, finding that her four-dimensional attributes are not high, hardly resembling a divine entity.

Though Ye Mingqiu cannot guarantee his perception is 100% accurate, it wouldn’t be too far off. Because if it were far off, he would surely detect something amiss, especially for those harboring malice toward him—the boost in perception is particularly terrifying.

Thirdly, Hostility Perception.

If Sajia were truly the new god, and Ye Mingqiu, in front of her, uses the new god identity to do various things, and even gets her to serve tea and do chores like fetching books, would she have no hostility at all? Is that realistic? Is that rational?

It’s important to know that Ye Mingqiu has never exhibited his hostility perception ability in this world, meaning others don’t know he possesses it. In such ignorance, could hostility still be concealed like this? Is this possible?

His hostility perception isn’t just effective up close. Even over tens of kilometers, if there’s evident hostility, Ye Mingqiu can sense it.

But he simply hasn’t sensed Sajia’s hostility

So naturally, he wouldn’t suspect

Still, given she articulated things so logically, there’s probably some hidden story. Ye Mingqiu always trusts his instinct; even if the instinct is baseless and unreasonable, he still won’t doubt his feeling.

To lose purpose due to self-doubt would be too foolish.

”Knock, knock, knock!”

The knocking sound echoed once more; then Sajia arrived with a stack of books, placed them at Ye Mingqiu’s table, courteously bowed, and then left.

”Wait!”

”Help me explain the principles of this technique.”

Ye Mingqiu said.
