My Talent Panel Can Add Points

[Eternal Sun]

Ye Mingqiu deliberately controlled the power, allowing the Fiery Sun Divine Power to enter this state without destroying the surrounding environment, condensing into a radiant Divine Ring behind him, and his aura suddenly surged.

However, he did not deliberately erupt, and even intentionally restrained his power to avoid disturbing the followers outside.

”This is a part of my power, although most of it is unused, it should be sufficient for verification.” Ye Mingqiu dispelled the Divine Ring and said.

”Hmm.”

The Archbishop began to gradually believe the truth, yet couldn’t help asking, ”Then, if I may be so bold... how much hidden power do you still possess?”

”A lot, the divine remains are boundless, this in itself is one of my abilities, I can release my own power, becoming incomparably large, enhancing my strength many times over.”

Ye Mingqiu raised his eyes, looking at the Archbishop, and said, ”I understand your concerns, thinking I might be one of those travelers from other worlds, dispelling this concern is very simple for me.”

Then, he once again entered the [Eternal Sun] form, and exited again, back and forth three times, his expression extremely natural and amiable, as if merely using an innate ability, rather than employing some kind of tool for power.

”Please forgive my stupidity.”

The Archbishop stood up, knelt on the ground, bowed his head in apology, his attitude exceedingly sincere.

”Currently, I am still in the newborn phase, my power is not yet strong, but... it is still enough to fight against Divinity Level beings, I can help you, but there is one condition.”

”What condition?”

”Believe in me, rather than the Star God.”

Ye Mingqiu said imposingly.

His gaze was supremely authoritative, filled with divinity, yet also contained a trace of humanity, and he continued, ”He is him, I am me, he is already dead, I do not wish to continue living in his shadow.”

”I am the sun, I am the light, I am the new god that is rising, I am... me!”

Ye Mingqiu slowly raised his hands, declaring forcefully, as his body ignited with raging flames, composed of the [Fiery Sun Divine Power], whose mere blaze sufficed to convey the overwhelming essence of the fire.

He lowered his eyes to look at Archbishop Augustine and said, ”In a certain sense, I do not wish to associate my existence with him, nor do I want my faith to be transferred onto him, he is already dead, I am the true god.”

”I understand.”

”Sigh~”

Ye Mingqiu sighed, then turned to look out the window, where the sunlight streamed through the glass, casting shadows of leaves on his face, the orange of dusk falling upon him not appearing as decay, but rather, imparting an indescribable holiness.

”Sorry, I got a bit excited, a true divinity perhaps should not be as such.”

”Currently, I feel like a newborn child, possessing merely power, but not yet the wisdom or mindset to match.”

”Perhaps... I am not yet a completely mature god, but I will gradually grow, learn how to become a true god, and the revered title I have chosen for myself is... the Lord of the Fierce Sun.”

”The Lord of the Fierce Sun?”

Archbishop Augustine felt somewhat moved, beginning to consider changing his faith, the old Star God had already perished, the Lord of the Fierce Sun was the new god, possessing the same essence as the Star God.

Thus, to believe in the Lord of Light and Shadow is not truly to abandon former faith, but rather to transition from believing in a corpse to believing in one who truly lives.

This is acceptable to him.

Believing directly in an unknown god, that is absolutely unacceptable, it’s a matter of principle.

Moreover...

The core reason Ye Mingqiu does not name himself as the Lord of Light and Shadow is that such a title is too lowly; if anyone aware of the Lord of Light and Shadow came here, or if the people here went out and told others about the origin of the Lord of Light and Shadow, then it would be too...

It should be known that the Lord of Light and Shadow appeared in the Dream Weaver’s dreamscape crafted for High Tier Spiritualists, and even served as the theme god.

Thus, the Lord of Light and Shadow remains quite prestigious in the eyes of High Tier Spiritualists, though somewhat mysterious, with no one knowing whence He comes, exactly what kind of faith god He truly is.

Attaching such an origin to the Lord of Light and Shadow would really be too disgraceful, thus, it would be better to create another alias, at least to avoid losing face.

”So, do you intend to establish faith in this world?” asked the Archbishop.

”Yes, He is dead, the acceptance of faith’s power is purely instinctual for Him, the remnant vitality dissipates faster than belief can recharge, this world is bound to perish in the future,” Ye Mingqiu confidently asserted.

”....”

The Archbishop fell into silence.

Indeed, this is the conclusion drawn by the Silent Council, the world is destined to end, to prevent the collapse of faith in people, which would accelerate the demise, they hid the truth from the world.

And those who knew the truth spontaneously formed the Silent Council, hidden behind the world’s facade, protecting the secret in their own way, safeguarding this world.

Civilization is but a lie

History is a scale of the corruption of divine remains

The gray age of ignorant birth stemmed from the initial chill of divine remains; the Hero Age, marked by the frequent emergence of divine messengers and the rise of heroes, resulted from the birth of corpses and the discovery of faith;

At present, the intensity of magic power reaches its peak, with nations and their powerful forces rising, entering the Era of Nations, serving as the fleeting resurgence after divine remains succumb to decay and expansion.

And the next era... will be cadaveric stiffness.

In the future predicted by the Silent Council, divine remains will rot completely, their energy wasted, entering the final stage of cadaveric stiffness.

By then, the three moons will extinguish entirely, the sky will collapse, the surface will ice over, magic will vanish, mortals will lose all power, heading towards extinction in eternal darkness, marking the end of the world, as well as the definitive silence of divine remains.

”Since you did not directly establish faith, but appeared here to converse with me, does this mean you already have some understanding of the world, correct?”

The Archbishop abruptly turned to ask.

”Correct.”

Ye Mingqiu nodded.

”You are the eye of the Star God, hence you possess the power to perceive everything in the world, to see our efforts, our faith, our future. Despite possessing such great power, you still care for our feelings, you are truly... so great.”

The Archbishop sighed with emotion.

”....”

Ye Mingqiu did not answer, merely gazing out the window, no one knew what he was thinking.

”Please stay here temporarily, I will head to the Silent Council to relay your message, to inform those hidden on the other side of the world about you, to formulate better strategies for you.”

”Mm.”

Ye Mingqiu replied, then slowly raised his hand, a crimson fluid slowly flowing from his sleeve, transforming into a crimson, menacing spear.

”This is my accompanying Divine Artifact, presently not fully grown, possessing only part of the artifact’s properties, I need the blood of divine remains to expedite my and its growth.”

Divine remains have existed for so long, most Divine Blood has merged into the world, but surely some may crystallize as remnants, allowing the Blood Spear to absorb such grade of Divine Blood could undoubtedly enhance its strength significantly.

Moreover, this is one of the core purposes for adopting this identity to join the Starlight Church.

Joining a force to work and earn resources?

Such a notion is too outdated!

Not to mention the resource quantity available for purchase is limited, top-grade materials most likely would not be sold by others.

Working for money is inherently slow, and even if one is sufficiently powerful, it may attract the attention of relevant powers, possibly leading to further probing, which could cause a lot of trouble if mishandled.

Thus, working is impossible, impossible in this lifetime.

”Divine Blood, is it?”

The Archbishop pondered for a moment, then said:

”The material you require should be high-quality starlight stone, the low-quality ones do contain some Divine Blood, but the concentration is too low and likely ineffective for your accompanying artifact.”

”Let’s do this, allow me to take you to the treasury of the Starlight Church to offer starlight stones to you.”
