My Talent Panel Can Add Points

The three Archbishops remained silent.

”Well, let me think.”

Ye Mingqiu leaned back slightly, then revealed a brilliant smile, and said, ”You don’t really want to solve the problem yourselves; it’s because the source of your power is the Power of Faith. Solving the problem using your own power will most likely result in a massive consumption of divine remains energy, leading the world swiftly towards extinction.”

”So, even though you know how to solve the problem, you still cannot take the initiative to act.”

”In order to reduce resource consumption, you deliberately feign ignorance, act unaware of the severity of the problem, and use strategy to induce them to join you and solve the problem, right?”

Ye Mingqiu’s smile grew even wider.

The Silent Council is mysterious enough for regular Spiritualists, and the intelligence they receive is most likely deliberately processed by the Silent Council, preventing them from realizing the essence of the problem.

Meanwhile, the Spiritualists come to this world not in the form of an emergency summons, indicating that the current crisis is not actually urgent for the world; these natives have the capability to respond, they’re just unable to take action.

Just like what was said in the world channel before, it’s a dilemma with troubles blocking both ends; either solve the problem slowly and die a chronic death, or not solve it and perish quickly.

No choice is good.

So, they need a third-party force to intervene. Through the intelligence they provide, they solve the problem using their power, but at the same time, they must not be excessively exploited by the other party.

After all, their resources are produced from divine remains, giving too much would be counterproductive, so they need to find a balance point.

”....”

After a brief silence, Seraphina sighed and said, ”Indeed, as expected of the Venerable Sun God born from the Eye of the Fiery Sun, it’s impossible to hide from you. Yes, this was the solution path we planned before.”

”We deeply respect your wisdom, so we had people lead you to meet with the Otherworld traveler not as a provocation, but as a sign of respect, to give you the choice.”

”Is that so?”

Ye Mingqiu chuckled.

The way she said it does make sense, sounds quite reasonable, but this was only said after it was pointed out; before that, who knows what they were actually planning? Such excuses are just for listening.

To this, he merely squinted and smiled, his expression unchanged from usual, yet the more he behaved this way, the more it gave others a sense of pressure, as if a high and mighty God looking down on the ants on earth.

Whether to water, set fire, or guide and feed, all depend on his whim.

After a brief silence, Ye Mingqiu slowly opened his eyes again and said, ”Then, what is your choice? Establish faith or stick with the original plan.”

”Venerable Sun God, may I venture to ask you three questions?” Elias suddenly inquired.

”You may.”

”The first question, will you always protect the world and maintain its stability and peace?”

”No.”

Ye Mingqiu answered decisively, without even a hint of hesitation, and his expression didn’t change at all.

”....”

The three Archbishops exchanged looks, their expressions unchanged, they anticipated this situation long ago, but they didn’t expect that the Lord of the Fierce Sun would respond so simply and directly, he wouldn’t even bother with a fib.

Of course, He is God, unnecessary for Him to deal with such mundane entanglements with mortals like them.

The Lord of the Fierce Sun, possessing Divinity Level power, could naturally touch the Spirit Realm, He might even become a Transcender at any time, beyond the world, in this kind of situation, if He still said He would always maintain the world...either He’s deceiving people, or there’s hidden circumstances.

A simple and direct refusal indicates the Lord of the Fierce Sun has ambition, wanting to expand outward, desires to go to other worlds, this kind of situation is relatively clear and distinct.

There’s also a good news.

Though the Lord of the Fierce Sun speaks directly, at least He doesn’t lie, or more specifically....disdains lying, which is far more reliable than saying willing to protect the world.

”The second question, can faith in you grant us power as faith in the Star God does?”

”Yes.”

Ye Mingqiu smiled as he continued, ”But the strength of the power obtained depends on the strength and quality of the faith, and also....my mood.”

”Mood?”

”I am God; how much power I bestow upon a believer is my freedom. Pure faith, pleasing to me, can earn more divine blessing. On the contrary, if I disdain you, no matter how much faith you offer, no power will be given.” Ye Mingqiu answered as a matter of course.

The three Archbishops paused briefly, showing no action on the surface, but internally, they were engaged in intense discussion through specific Magic communication channels.

Soon after, Elias posed the third question.

”The final question.”

”Are you....a Transcender?”

Elias stared at Ye Mingqiu, observing his facial reaction with utmost care and tension, his heartbeat quickening to its peak.

At this moment, he quietly activated an exceedingly covert special Ability, one that manifests without any sign or phenomenon, using the simplest, most direct means to ascertain results, but he was unsure whether the Lord of the Fierce Sun would detect it, or whether He would care.

”No.”

Ye Mingqiu answered simply and directly.

Because he is a Spiritualist, not a Transcender.

The reason for asking this is simple; common Spiritualists generally have lower strength, those above Over-Specification Dominator Level are mostly Transcenders, typically a Spiritualist cannot possess Divinity Level strength.

This is a stereotype, but in most cases it holds true, regular Spiritualists really can’t possess over-specification Dominator Level strength.

”Alright, I understand.”

Elias nodded, then privately relayed the result to the other two.

The answer is: true.

The Lord of the Fierce Sun is not a Transcender.

However, in the current circumstances, whether He is a Transcender is no longer important; even if He were a Transcender, so what? What needs to change faith still must change, to seek a way out, they must make a choice.

The only difference is how things would look on the surface.

Obviously, the three sighed in relief.

The Archbishop spoke, ”Now, please let us understand specifically how to offer you faith, and how we should proceed.”

....

After a brief discussion, the Silent Council’s Seraphina decided to send a thousand people to test the faith situation and see how it goes.

As for Ye Mingqiu, the Lord of the Fierce Sun, he maintained the division of Level Five faith, only adjusting the division slightly for different levels.

One-tenth for Level One, two-tenths for Level Two, three-tenths for Level Three, five-tenths for Level Four, eight-tenths for Level Five; the higher the quality and level of faith, the more power received; this is his absolute rule, impossible to change deliberately as it would make him not seem like a true God.

Some boundaries cannot be crossed.

Moreover, although they ostensibly claim to believe in the Lord of the Fierce Sun, in reality, their faith is in [Ye Mingqiu], who can also be the Lord of Light and Shadow.

The Title of [Lord of Light and Shadow] is to convert belief into the Power of Faith, and grant blessings through the Power of Faith.

As for what blessings are bestowed, it mainly depends on what kind of power Ye Mingqiu, as the faith God, possesses, and what the believers’ faith aligns with, which Attributes it resonates with.

Believers who have faith in the Lord of the Fierce Sun and possess the Fiery Sun series Talent will receive corresponding blessings because this Lord of Light and Shadow....is impure!

Usually, such a situation doesn’t arise; for a God of the faith system, only the Energy or Talent with the highest Strength Level will be taken as the core of the faith system.

And Ye Mingqiu...

He happens to possess both a [Sequence-Fiery Sun] and a [Sequence-Saintly Radiance], both with the same highest Strength Level, so he can bear both Traits simultaneously instead of just one.

This makes things quite intriguing!
