Forced to Sell Myself to the Female Lead After Killing the Male Lead

”Actually, the reason I was able to break through to High Sixth Tier~ was because Teacher Yu guided me back then~”

The silver-haired girl’s words struck the hearts of every student like a bolt from the blue.

The enormous classroom instantly fell into complete silence.

Everyone stared back and forth between Mengxi and the black-haired girl standing on the podium with utterly incredulous expressions.

This?

Something like that actually happened?

The Class President’s recent freakish °• N 𝑜 v 𝑒 l i g h t •° rate of improvement was because of this teacher?!

After standing there stunned for a moment, Yeze hurriedly shook his head and asked again for confirmation.

”Is... is that really true?”

”Do I have any reason to lie to you? If Teacher Yu hadn’t helped me, how could I possibly have improved so quickly?”

Mengxi asked back teasingly.

As she spoke, the silver-haired girl suddenly rose from her seat.

Under the concentrated gazes of the students, she placed both hands behind her back and walked step by step toward the podium.

Then,

the silver-haired girl carefully leaned against the teacher’s desk and revealed a sweet, gentle smile.

With a hint of mischief, she looked toward the somewhat dumbfounded Miss Yumo before her.

”Isn’t that right, Teacher Yu

”This...”

Looking at the silver-haired girl smiling so sweetly, Yumo became slightly at a loss.

After all, she had never actually guided Mengxi in cultivation...

The reason this girl had improved so quickly was mainly because...

of those indescribable activities...

...

Hmmmm,

if she put it that way, then in a certain sense, it really could count as her ’guidance,’ couldn’t it?

As though she had recalled something difficult to speak about, an embarrassed and conflicted expression gradually surfaced on Yumo’s face.

And right at that moment,

Mengxi mischievously winked her right eye several times, continuously dropping hints toward her adorable Sister Yumo~

Since her back was turned toward the other students, nobody noticed anything unusual about Mengxi’s expression.

After receiving Mengxi’s barrage of hints, Yumo quickly realized that this rotten girl was trying to help her out of the situation.

Although she had the script Saiboke had given her and should have been able to handle this sort of question herself, Mengxi was still acting out of good intentions.

Besides, under the circumstances, if Yumo denied it now, she would be embarrassing the rotten girl far too much.

And so, Miss Yumo helplessly nodded and reluctantly acknowledged the girl’s claim.

”I... suppose so...”

Of course,

while saying this, Yumo failed to notice the faintly sinister smile appearing at the corners of Mengxi’s lips.

...

?!!

”It... it’s actually true?!”

The moment Yumo admitted it, the entire classroom completely erupted.

These days,

what these students cared about most was neither the invasion of Abyss Demons in the northern territories, nor the disappearance (death) of the Child of Destiny, nor even those trivial national affairs.

For students obsessed with cultivation and increasing their strength, the thing they cared about most was Mengxi’s explosive improvement in strength.

As the Child of Destiny, Mengxi possessed extraordinary talent.

As her classmates, they had known that for a long time.

Therefore,

they had never expected to surpass this monster-like Class President in cultivation speed.

Everyone had already mentally prepared themselves for the Class President to reach Sixth Tier before anyone else.

However,

reality had still managed to exceed their expectations.

They had originally assumed it would take the Class President several years to advance from Mid Fifth Tier to Sixth Tier.

Yet after leaving the academy for only half a year, not only had she directly broken through into the Sixth Tier, she had actually reached High Sixth Tier?!

The speed of her advancement was simply astonishing.

Countless teachers throughout the academy had been left dumbstruck by it.

Some had even smacked themselves over the head with clubs just to confirm that they weren’t dreaming.

After all,

even the most talented youths recorded in the academy’s history had needed more than a year to break through from Fifth Tier into Early Sixth Tier.

And Mengxi had done it in only half a year?

And not only that, she had surged straight toward the Seventh Tier in one breath?

Other students were still struggling around the threshold of Sixth Tier, while this Child of Destiny had already reached High Sixth Tier?

How could that kind of progress not shock people?

How could it not make them envious?

And while everyone was stunned by the extraordinary cultivation talent of the chosen one, they had also started wondering whether Mengxi had encountered some sort of opportunity during those six months.

Perhaps she had opened an ancient ruin?

Obtained some miraculous medicine?

Or perhaps she had received guidance from an expert?!

Everyone had come up with all kinds of guesses.

And now, from Mengxi’s own mouth, those guesses had seemingly been confirmed.

”She... was the one who taught the Class President how to cultivate?!”

Looking at the beautiful black-haired girl, Yeze, who had originally intended to continue questioning her, instantly fell silent.

His entire body froze in place like a statue.

Considering Mengxi’s normally serious personality,

nobody believed that their Class President would joke about something like this.

Could it really have been this black-haired noble young lady standing before them who had helped Mengxi grow to her present level?!

Was this what people meant when they said you couldn’t judge a person by appearances?!

And while everyone remained dumbfounded,

Miss Mengxi chose the perfect moment to slowly turn around and look toward her classmates below, all of whom appeared to have completely crashed.

She put on a serious expression and spoke slowly in a tone that sounded almost like earnest advice.

”Anyway, just study properly under Teacher Yu. You’ll gain something from it.”

Mengxi was essentially the big sister of this entire class.

And once the big sister spoke,

the effect was naturally tremendous.

--Since even the Class President says so... maybe... we should trust her?--

After a period of shock and disbelief,

the doubts that had filled the students’ eyes toward the black-haired girl almost completely vanished.

An indescribable sense of anticipation instead began to emerge within their gazes.

The atmosphere inside the classroom underwent a complete transformation at that moment.

Unlike the deliberately exaggerated enthusiasm from earlier, the students now showed genuine warmth and welcome in their eyes.

The blond-haired boy named Yeze also slowly returned to his seat and said nothing more.

Feeling the bright, energetic gazes coming from every direction, Miss Yumo raised her eyebrows in mild surprise.

Hm?

It actually...

worked this well?

Yumo was rather astonished.

If she had used Saiboke’s prepared lines, she probably could have calmed down these dissatisfied students.

But getting them to obediently sit back down and stay quiet like this would probably have been much harder.

She hadn’t expected Mengxi to settle the entire matter with just a few casual words of support.

This girl...

was actually pretty impressive, wasn’t she?

Out of the corner of her eye, Yumo glanced toward the silver-haired girl who had helped her out.

Without realizing it, an admiring look appeared in her eyes.

And after noticing Miss Yumo looking at her, Mengxi turned her head again and revealed a smug little expression as though she were asking for praise.

Her pale-purple eyes were filled with joy.

At the same time, the silver-haired girl’s pink lips opened and closed as she directly used lip-reading to ask the black-haired girl for a reward~

”Sister Yumo~ look how well I cooperated~ Don’t I get some kind of reward?”

”...”

Yumo could only helplessly purse her lips and subtly signal back with her eyes.

It seemed as though she was acknowledging Mengxi’s words while asking exactly what kind of reward she wanted.

Although the two hadn’t exchanged a single spoken word, with Mengxi’s powers of comprehension, she instantly understood what Yumo’s gaze meant.

The corners of the silver-haired girl’s lips immediately curled upward playfully.

Her red lips parted as she silently said,

”Then~ Sister Yumo, give me two kisses?”

After understanding what Mengxi meant, Yumo knitted her delicate brows together and immediately shot her a stern look.

”Hmph, keep dreaming!”

”Hmm, then... I’ll settle for the next best thing. Let me kiss Sister Yumo twice~”

”Hm?... You rotten girl... you’re really pushing your luck!”

”Hehe~ but our Sister Yumo—oh, no~ Teacher Yumo~ Teacher Yumo is just so cute~ I can’t help myself~”

”You!”

”Hehe~”

...

...

While most of the students began whispering among themselves about what Mengxi had just said, Mengxi, the Child of Destiny, completely abandoned her usual dignified and holy demeanor and became rather mischievous.

Taking advantage of the fact that she could communicate through lip-reading, Mengxi continuously teased the black-haired girl in front of her with increasingly complicated sentences.

Yumo, meanwhile, could only respond through her eyes, which severely limited how much meaning she could convey.

Before she knew it, Mengxi had completely overwhelmed her.

Normally,

when something like this happened, Yumo would have immediately given the silver-haired girl a hard knock on the head and properly educated this rotten brat who dared tease her older sister.

However,

since they were currently in public, Yumo couldn’t exactly smack the Child of Destiny over the head in front of everyone.

And so, the black-haired girl could only swallow down her frustration and puff out her cheeks in annoyance.

Meanwhile,

seeing that expression on Sister Yumo’s face—that look of being furious but unable to do anything about it—only made Mengxi’s smile grow more playful.

Hehe,

as expected of Sister Yumo~

She’s really cute.

So cute that I can’t help wanting to tease her a little more~

”Sister Yumo, your new hairstyle is so cute~”

”Sister, you’re actually wearing white stockings today? I’m really not used to seeing that~”

”Sister Yumo, Teacher Yu~ since I helped you out just now, let me hug you afterward~ Hehe, don’t be shy~ We’ve already done things far more intimate than that, so what’s there to be embarrassed about~”

...

...

As those teasing remarks continued,

Miss Mengxi became more and more enthusiastic.

Unfortunately,

before Mengxi could tease her enough to satisfy herself, the silver-haired girl wearing that mischievous smile suddenly shrank her pupils.

She immediately pressed her lips tightly together and no longer dared to continue teasing the black-haired girl through lip-reading.

As for why Mengxi had suddenly become so obedient?

The reason was simple.

While signing a document for Mengxi,

Miss Yumo had viciously written several large words across the final page with a pencil...

--’Keep talking nonsense and watch what happens to your butt!’--

The instant those words entered her eyes,

Miss Mengxi’s entire body trembled violently.

Her backside seemed to experience a faint, indescribable phantom ache...
