One Piece: Collective Viewing of the Future, Starting from God Valley

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Video Delivery, Light Screen Connects to God Valley

...

[Just a side note, even if you don’t like this book, it’s starting to get cooler lately. Fellow One Piece fans, stay warm, wear more clothes, don’t catch a cold—we need to stay healthy while chasing One Piece and finding our own ONE PIECE!]

[It’s 2026 now, wishing everyone prosperity and good fortune (＾▽＾)!]

[How should I put it? Everyone has their own Hamlet in their heart, so I can’t force you to like it. If you like it, stay; if not, leave!]

”Cheers to Rocks!”

Capital City

Linley, who had failed his job interview, returned to his rental apartment and directly chugged a big glass of water.

The scorching heat outside in the dog days of summer could practically roast people alive.

He pulled out his phone and saw his video stats looking disastrously bad—Linley really felt like crying.

As a small-time UP main who edits One Piece videos, he was seriously close to starving.

With big shots professionally analyzing things above him, Linley could barely breathe under the pressure.

He had thought about switching jobs, but in this world where bachelor’s degrees are a dime a dozen and master’s are everywhere, what company would want an ordinary undergrad like him?

Ever since graduating university, Linley realized that after leaving school, he was still way too damn young.

Right after graduation, the girlfriend he’d had in college dumped him, saying it was because Linley couldn’t always be there for her and provide emotional support...

Linley really had no counter to that.

Before, with his parents covering living expenses, he could live freely, but once he stepped out of campus and into society, his parents had long since cut him off.

Linley’s family wasn’t wealthy either. He used to think hard work was enough, but later he learned that getting by in the real world requires connections and background...

Times have changed; the adult world isn’t fun at all.

Watching his stats get slashed in half, those glaring red numbers, Linley powerlessly collapsed onto the sofa in his rental apartment.

Back in the dorms, he’d taught himself video editing and barely scraped together pocket money by uploading to Bilibili, Xiaopo Station, Manifo, and Yin Fu.

But now, trying to support himself with short videos? Unless you’re a top streamer on the platform, ordinary people shouldn’t even dream about it.

It was dinner time, so Linley ordered a trendy national-style combo meal, then sat in front of his computer, ready to edit today’s One Piece video.

Watching the latest Chapter of One Piece while eating his fried rice and listening to a big shot’s commentary video.

”Don’t cry, Rocks, you idiot!”

[Fire God’s Kagutsuchi · Eishi!]

[Infinite · Fist Bone!]

...

With the big shot’s passionate commentary narration, Roger and Garp each unleashed their strongest strikes!

Rocks, dominated and blackened by Imu, suffered unprecedented heavy damage to his body, beginning to fall apart.

As the ”next week break” announcement came, the God Valley Incident, which had lasted several weeks, could be said to have completely ended.

The legend of the pirate Rocks D. Xebec stopped here!

Scraping the last bite of rice clean, Linley also typed ”True hero” in the comments. In this short God Valley arc,

Rocks’ character was directly elevated!

Linley still remembered that he’d once made a roasting video about Rocks, calling him an irredeemable villain, a total jerk...

That video almost got review-bombed; the entire comment section was full of time-traveling cops going ”What about now?”

As a One Piece video UP main, Linley really thought God Valley was done well, and the best part about God Valley!

Was how in just a dozen or so Chapters, it shaped so many characters and expanded and deepened so many existing ones!

Ultimately creating God Valley as a grand spectacle blending romance, betrayal, shifting allegiances of good and evil, and heroes in their twilight...

And at the same time, not a single character felt like their personality collapsed.

Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido, Shiki, Dragon, Garp, Roger, Rayleigh—everyone felt like this was exactly how they should be, even surpassing readers’ expectations.

And it was precisely against the backdrop of these gathered legends that the strongest Rocks shone so brightly.

At least that’s how Linley saw it. If you had to say something, in any long-running manga, eating settings and personality collapses are perfectly normal.

But none of that was something Linley could control...

While scrolling through the comments, Linley suddenly burst out laughing at one.

[Blackbeard: Didn’t expect that, huh, Whitebeard? I’ve endured these years just to make you and the crew drop your guard, so I could seize the Dark-Dark Fruit as my chance to become king! Zehahaha... You ask why I didn’t just ask outright?]

Seeing this wildly creative roast, Linley couldn’t help but smile knowingly.

Though it was just netizen banter, thinking deeper—if Blackbeard had really swallowed his pride and asked Thatch outright back then, given the Whitebeard Pirates’ family-like atmosphere, Thatch would definitely have handed it over willingly.

The thought flashed like a spark of inspiration in Linley’s mind.

He casually grabbed the curtain to wipe his mouth, then energetically sat back at the computer and began frantically gathering material, fully diving into making his new roast video.

The keyboard clacked furiously under his hands; in less than an hour, a ten-minute commentary video took shape.

After some deliberation, Linley finalized the title:

[One Piece Roast: Blackbeard Was Actually a Hidden Social Anxiety Case? Backstabbing Turns Him into the Ultimate ”Clown” Move]

Looking at this title that was both meme-y and opinionated, Linley nodded in satisfaction.

This time he went for a down-to-earth commentary style—no need for flashy skills; the focus was making the points fun and reasonable.

He deliberately made his voice more magnetic to make the whole video sound more pleasant.

After clicking upload to all the major platforms, Linley stared at the progress bar slowly climbing while muttering to himself: ”Hope someone likes this style...”

While waiting for the upload, he got up to tidy his somewhat messy rental apartment.

Making the bed, taking out the trash, wiping the table—even living alone, he was used to keeping the place neat and clean.

A fresh environment brings clear thoughts.

Just as Linley turned to leave the bedroom, he didn’t notice the computer screen behind him flickering abnormally with white light twice, like it had frozen!

After the white light flashed, a string of hacker-like code scrolled rapidly:

One Piece World

West Sea · God Valley!

Marines vs. Pirates vs. Rocks Pirates vs. Roger Pirates vs. God’s Knights—a massive five-way super brawl was unfolding right now.

The World Nobles treated God Valley as their new hunting ground, and this place was also the hometown of the legendary pirate Rocks D. Xebec!

The Marines were responsible for protecting the Celestial Dragons, the pirates for plundering, the Roger Pirates for rescuing the kidnapped Shakky and seizing treasure...

But the captain of the Rocks Pirates, Rocks, wasn’t after money or beauties—his goal on this trip was his own family!

[His wife Eris and son Teach]

Just as screams and cries filled the island, suddenly, a blue light screen appeared in the sky above everyone’s heads!

The light from the screen fully illuminated everything, and everyone saw this light screen.

Some Marines and pirates were still locked in desperate combat, refusing to let go—but the light emitted by the screen directly separated them.

”What the hell is this thing?!” Rocks looked at the anomaly overhead, expression shocked, brows furrowed.

Meanwhile, Whitebeard gripped Murakumogiri, staring gravely at the phenomenon in the sky!

This huge glowing thing overhead made Whitebeard feel extremely uneasy, even though there was no hint of danger from it.

”Kaido, am I seeing things? Did you see that thing in the sky?!”

At this moment, Big Mom and Kaido were also fixated on the spectacle above. Earlier, she’d tried to ride Zeus up to check it out, only to find she couldn’t move at all.

It felt like some kind of rule-based taboo!

”Linlin, I actually think it’s pretty nice-looking, and it doesn’t seem aggressive at all!”

The current Beast Kaido was still a greenhorn; he shouldered his kanabo, staring curiously at the sky.

”Hey! Rayleigh, Scopper, you guys come look at the sky quick!” After kicking away a few Marines, Roger stared straight up at the glowing light—he’d never seen anything so bright in his life.

Right now, the Roger Pirates’ attention was fully captured by the light screen, and even those Celestial Dragons were stunned staring at it. As ”gods,”

even back in the Holy Land, they’d never seen anything so dazzling!

”Saint Garling, what is that thing?!” Satchels Maffey puffed on his cigar, curiously watching the changes in the sky.

Though Saint Shepherd Sommers was curious too, his mind had long been captivated by Shakky—he wasn’t holding back any good intentions!

”Be careful; I’m not sure what it is either—I’ve never seen anything like this!”

Saint Figarland Garling looked at the light screen in great frustration.

Honestly, his mood was far from pleasant. He hadn’t expected the originally favorable situation to devolve into this.

The Rocks Pirates and Roger Pirates showing up on the island at the same time!

Just as everyone was curious about the light screen,

it suddenly started playing footage, followed by Linley’s voice beginning his monologue.

[Hey everyone, One Piece fans! Nice to see you again—it’s Linley. Starting today, we’re kicking off a new video series!]

[Just today, with One Piece Chapter 1165 ending, the God Valley Incident is officially over. Though there are many regrets, the Rocks Pirates led by Rocks D. Xebec have completely fallen apart!]

[Side note: I believe everyone, like me, hasn’t had enough yet. What left the deepest impression on me was Rocks’ boundless heroism, and the face-slapping champion Saint Figarland Garling!]

[Though there are still many juicy parts worth talking about, let’s set those aside for now. Today, this episode isn’t about that—as you can tell from the title...]

[Today we’re talking about Blackbeard’s ”social anxiety” experience, and what kind of expression Rocks would make if he knew his son killed the good brother who fought side-by-side with him!]
