Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 440: Chapter 438: Imports, Must Import [1st Update]

”Pop!”

Lao Ganma was opened.

A distinct scent belonging to Lao Ganma wafted into the officer’s nose.

”Sniff sniff.”

The officer couldn’t help but sniffle and take in the aroma, ”Take a bite.”

”This...”

Jerry hesitated.

”What’s wrong? Is there really a problem? Isn’t it edible?”

The officer immediately straightened his face.

”No, no, it really is edible, but it’s a condiment, not a staple food. I need some staple food to go with it.”

Jerry quickly explained.

”Alright, what staple food do you need? A hamburger? Potato noodles? Or a steak?”

The officer asked.

After all, this wasn’t real, it was a reality show, so such a request could still be accommodated.

”Anything will do!”

Jerry said earnestly.

”Anything will do? Are you sure?”

The officer was taken aback.

You see, depending on the type of condiment, the accompanying food also varies.

After all, if matched incorrectly, it would ruin the taste.

But here Jerry dared to say anything would do!

”I’m sure!”

Jerry was very confident.

He had already tried it.

Although it was a bit embarrassing, from an American perspective, he could sincerely say—Lao Ganma might not go with just any food in Heavenly Dynasty, but when it comes to the repetitive options in America, anything pairs well and tastes great!

”Then okay, go get him a portion of each.”

The officer ordered.

Soon, the food was delivered.

Exactly what the officer had mentioned earlier—there was a portion of each.

Jerry was quite a foodie.

Seeing the staple food arrive, he didn’t even care about the officer and just started eating voraciously with Lao Ganma.

He was really hungry, and although he could eat the food on the plane before, after trying Lao Ganma, he really couldn’t eat it at all.

But items like Lao Ganma were in checked luggage, not instantly accessible.

”Sigh.”

Jerry ate with absolute delight.

While eating, he was gasping because of the spiciness.

But the spicier it got, the more he wanted to eat, and the more he ate, the spicier it became!

In no time at all, he had downed a hamburger, a serving of mashed potatoes, plus half a steak.

The officer and the people around him were stunned.

”Wow, is it really that delicious?”

”No way! Is he that hungry?”

”Wait a minute, you see, every time he eats, he adds that condiment. Could that condiment really be that tasty?”

”...”

Not only were the people at the scene taken aback.

Even the American viewers watching the live broadcast on TV were astonished.

”Oh my God! Why do I feel hungry watching him eat so deliciously?”

”It smells so good! But why doesn’t the same burger taste good when I eat it?”

”Could that condiment really be magical?”

”Which country is it from?”

”Seems like it’s from Heavenly Dynasty!”

”Quick, search it up online.”

”...”

Suddenly, countless people turned on their computers and started searching for information based on the image of Lao Ganma on TV.

And unsurprisingly, they soon found it—Lao Ganma’s teachings.

After all, Lao Ganma’s teachings are all foreigners, so it was quite easy to find.

Thus.

Videos, texts, and images from these Lao Ganma’s teachings quickly spread all over America.

Everyone watching the live reality show was now focused on the news about Lao Ganma.

Some had even made contact with the followers of Lao Ganma.

They inquired in detail about the authenticity of Lao Ganma.

Thus, it didn’t take long for them to realize why Jerry on TV found it so delicious.

”Oh my god! Did you see it? They said this condiment tastes incredibly good.”

”Not only that, I showed them the live broadcast on TV, and they were not surprised at all. They said it reflects reality!”

”Oh my Lord, is that seasoning really that tasty? Even tastier than our Sriracha?”

”I can’t handle it anymore, where can I buy some? I want to buy, buy, buy!”

”There should be some in the Chinatown supermarket.”

”No, I just came from there. They don’t have it, saying that it’s not currently being sold here. However, I asked a Chinese person who just returned from the Heavenly Dynasty, and he had half a bottle, I just had a taste...”

”Hey upstairs, keep going! After that taste, what happened? Don’t stop talking!”

”Wait a minute, I’m too busy to talk. I asked that guy to sell me the half bottle. He refused, so I just grabbed it and ran!”

”Uh...”

Countless Americans fell silent after reading this.

Oh my God!

It seems Lao Ganma really is delicious, otherwise why would there be a robbery?

As the night progressed, more info about Lao Ganma came in.

Of course, eighty percent of this info came from the followers of Lao Ganma.

Countless Americans were left with their mouths watering.

They even started a full internet campaign to gather Lao Ganma.

With the world being so vast, America surely had a few bottles.

Just like that Chinese person who returned from the Heavenly Dynasty, he had brought some back!

They were lucky.

They actually managed to find three bottles.

So, the live reality show on TV was left unwatched.

Nobody cared about Jerry’s follow-up anymore.

They all gathered together.

And began to taste Lao Ganma.

”Ss, ha! So spicy! So spicy! Why is it this spicy!”

A foolish Americans who couldn’t handle spices, without eating any main dish, directly tried a spoonful of Lao Ganma and ended up drinking two bottles of water.

The people around him laughed, ”Didn’t you watch the live show? They said it should be eaten with a main dish.”

The man laughed awkwardly with a red face.

He was just too eager!

Meanwhile, others began to try it with main dishes.

Since there were only three bottles, everyone didn’t get much.

Imagine when Lao Ganma was first released in the Heavenly Dynasty, which has a myriad of delicious foods, it caused a sensation. Now in America, it was the same!

”Ss, it’s so spicy, but really delicious!”

”Fantastic, with Lao Ganma, food tastes like it’s gone up a notch!”

”Spicy? It’s not spicy! But really tasty!”

”I’m captivated, I’ve decided to join the Lao Ganma followers!”

”Who can give me another serving? Mine’s all gone!”

”Sorry, we’ve all finished.”

”Yeah, how could there be any left!”

”...”

Of course, not every American was conquered.

There were always those who didn’t like it and left.

But those were in the minority, not worth mentioning.

Most people were utterly bowled over by Lao Ganma.

This scene spread to American supermarkets.

Seeing this, what else to say?

Hurry and import it!

This kind of surefire deal, the quick have and the slow miss out!

Suddenly, America stirred up a fervent craze of importing Lao Ganma.

However, they didn’t know that their import amount was limited.

How much was it again?

Oh right, 5,340,001 US dollars!
