Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

Chapter 196: Chapter 196: Primordial Qi Great Capture Technique

The Black Scorpion Poison Venerable, controlling the Black Gold Puppet, was simply too strong. Had Su Han not been injured, he might have been able to put up some resistance. However, he had just fought a great battle against the Blood Poison Little Demon Lord and two others, severely depleting his Demonic Qi and leaving him with heavy wounds. In this state, he stood no chance against the Black Scorpion Poison Venerable.

In this battle, Su Han was consistently pushed back, his defeat obvious. He was completely suppressed from start to finish and was now utterly defeated.

”I told you not to resist stubbornly, or you would suffer for it,” the Black Scorpion Poison Venerable’s unpleasant voice echoed in the great hall. He strode forward to stand before Su Han, looking down from on high like a deity surveying mortals.

Su Han was in a dire state. His face was bloodless, as pale as paper, and he was continuously spitting up blood. His aura had faded to an all-time low. Furthermore, his body was covered in wounds. The most serious was his right hand, which had been torn open by the scorpion’s tail hook. It was a grotesque sight, with flesh laid bare and bone exposed. He couldn’t even think of gripping his saber, let alone move a finger.

”Obediently become the vessel for my possession. This is your honor!” the Black Scorpion Poison Venerable declared, brimming with confidence. In truth, he had never taken Su Han seriously from the start. After all, he was just a junior. So what if he had some talent? In his eyes, Su Han was nothing more than a slightly larger ant.

The Black Scorpion Poison Venerable reached out, intending to grab Su Han’s neck and pull him out from the crater in the wall to possess him. However, just as his hand shot out, Su Han’s figure transformed into a streak of light and instantly escaped.

”No matter how much you struggle, it’s all in vain!” the Black Scorpion Poison Venerable snorted coldly, turning to go after Lu Yunxian instead. Su Han possessed the Character Technique of Motion, making him impossible to catch. Lu Yunxian, however, was his Achilles’ heel. If Su Han dared to flee, he would simply attack Lu Yunxian, confident that Su Han would be forced to return.

This time, his guess was right, but not entirely. Su Han’s aura suddenly surged, one moment radiating a chilling cold, the next an incomparable, scorching heat. He had finally succeeded in the Refinement of the Thousand Birds Cold Ice Flower and the Vermilion Bird Flaming Fruit. His Demonic Qi was substantially restored, and even his injuries had healed considerably.

”Samadhi True Flame!”

With his left hand outstretched, a bright flame flickered in his palm. This time, however, the flame had two colors and was far hotter and more violent than before. The moment it appeared, the temperature in the great hall rose sharply.

”Dual Nether Cold Qi!”

He lifted his right hand with great effort. A frigid qi immediately condensed, instantly freezing the air into a sheet of frost and causing the surrounding temperature to plummet to the freezing point.

At this moment, Su Han held True Flame in his left hand and frigid qi in his right. The Ice-Fire intertwined, their surging power fluctuations causing one’s scalp to tingle with dread.

”Ice-Fire Fourth Layer!”

Su Han clenched his teeth, fusing the Samadhi True Flame and the Dual Nether Cold Qi. They merged into a single mass that took on the vague shape of an Ice-Fire Lotus. Although blurry and crude, it had taken its initial form.

WHOOSH!

With a flick of his wrist, Su Han sent the Ice-Fire Lotus hurtling toward the Black Gold Puppet.

The ice and fire erupted, engulfing the puppet. The resulting clash of two utterly opposite energies slammed the puppet down from mid-air. It thudded into the floor, creating a large crater.

The Black Gold Puppet was now covered in streaks of frost and numerous scorch marks. The might of the Ice-Fire Fourth Layer was far greater than the Ice-Fire Second Layer; even the Black Gold Puppet, forged from a millennium’s worth of earth metal, couldn’t withstand it. However, the puppet was not made of flesh and blood, so while damaged, it was not significantly impaired.

The Black Gold Puppet climbed back to its feet. ”An integration of ice and fire... Your flame and cold qi are both exceptional. Once I possess you and search your memories, all of this will be mine!” the Black Scorpion Poison Venerable’s voice boomed from the puppet, his tone full of rage, clearly displeased with Su Han’s resistance.

”Samadhi True Flame!”

”Origin Technique: Fiery Flame Storm!”

Su Han once again unleashed the Samadhi True Flame, this time merging it with the Fiery Flame Storm. A three-hundred-meter flame storm instantly swept out, striking hard at the Black Gold Puppet.

Without Spiritual Energy or Demonic Qi, the Black Scorpion Poison Venerable could only rely on the Black Gold Puppet’s durable metal body for defense. However, his combat experience was considerable. With all four limbs on the ground, he leaped like a tiger bounding over a stream, avoiding most of the attacks as he rapidly closed in on Su Han.

”Body Binding Technique!”

Divine Sense burst forth as Su Han attempted the minor Divine Prohibition. The Black Gold Puppet was not a being of flesh and blood and lacked the six senses, rendering the Blinding Technique and Silencing Technique useless against it. He could only use the Body Binding Technique, but its effect was minimal. The puppet’s metallic body was simply too tough to be easily restrained.

”You have so many methods, each one a masterstroke. It seems you carry great secrets. Very good. My interest in you grows ever greater,” the Black Scorpion Poison Venerable said, not alarmed but pleased. With the Black Gold Puppet, he was immune to pain and fatigue. Unless Su Han could destroy the puppet itself, he was essentially invincible.

Seeing the Black Gold Puppet charging at him again, Su Han’s heart sank. He had used every method at his disposal but was still unable to defeat the Black Scorpion Poison Venerable. The difficulty of achieving victory was immense. But he did not give up, nor did he choose to retreat. With an invincible heart, he would cut down the world’s powerful enemies. Even if he had only a single breath left, he would fight on.

HUFF.

Su Han exhaled, then centered his mind, fully activating his Sacred Body. At this point, he could only rely on himself. And besides Demonization, he had one more trump card.

”Origin Technique: Primordial Qi!”

Brilliant golden light surged. Divine Sense flooded out like a tide, and the chilling Devouring Heaven Demonic Qi roared. At Su Han’s command, all of his energies were unleashed, rapidly fusing and intertwining into a mass of Chaotic Qi. This qi’s color and energy were perfectly integrated, not merely mixed but seamlessly blended, as if recreating the world from an epoch of destruction.

This was the Origin Technique Su Han had awakened after achieving the Crystallization of the Holy Body, originating from the Devouring Heaven Demonic Art. As for its might, even Su Han didn’t know, for this was his first time ever using it. However, unleashing the Primordial Qi had completely drained him, leaving his Original Body unprecedentedly weak. If someone were to attack him now, he would have no strength to resist, revealing the technique’s immense drawback.

”Primordial Qi Great Capture Technique!”

With a thought, the Chaotic Qi rapidly writhed and transformed into a hundred-meter hand. The hand was lifelike, its palm lines clear, resembling the hand of a god or demon descending from the heavens to strike the Black Gold Puppet.

BANG!

The next moment, the massive hand slammed into the Black Gold Puppet. The seemingly indestructible puppet was sent flying, smashing against the wall so hard that it broke straight through, defeated in a single strike.
