Zhan Shen: It’s Just a Sacrifice, How Can I Become a Villain?

364: Odin unboxedOn the moon, an ancient figure emerged from a rift in space-time.

Then, in the next second, he arrived before the six-winged angel.

“Old friend, I’m here.”

Michael slowly opened his eyes, a hint of weariness in his brows. He stared at the black-clothed elder and said, “Kronos, you’re late.”

The one who appeared on the moon was none other than the Time God, Kronos.

“I couldn’t help it. I didn’t want this either, but repairing my 【Order of All Things】 took some time.”

With that, Kronos took a pocket watch from his in arms.

The pocket watch was made of pure silver, and perhaps due to the passage of time, its surface was no longer as bright.

Kronos opened the cover; on the golden dial, the hour, minute, and second hands were strangely still.

“Now, I need to set a time.” With that, Kronos adjusted the pocket watch.

Click-clack! Click-clack!

A crisp sound emanated from the pocket watch, and the second hand ticked forward one increment at a time. Through Michael’s eyes of Miracle, he saw that the Law of Time shrouding the entire moon seemed to have undergone some change.

“You repaired it?” Michael asked.

Michael knew about the Divine Artifact, 【Order of All Things】. The Time God was among those who ascended to the moon with Yelande to Seal it.

However, this Divine Artifact was severely damaged during the Seal War back then, and he never expected to see it restored today.

“The repair progress could have been faster, but unfortunately, I was never able to enter Takamagahara. I could only use some Divine Artifacts from Olympus to repair this old pocket watch of mine,” Kronos said calmly.

“Oh? So you stole Zeus’s things. Does that mean you’ve completely fallen out?” Michael asked.

Kronos shook his head helplessly, “From the day he became the God King of Olympus, we have already been mortal enemies.

Over the years, he has never stopped pursuing me. Those Divine Artifacts are just a small interest I claimed from him.”

Michael did not reply; he did not wish to interfere in the internal affairs of Olympus.

Kronos also did not continue the topic, but instead smiled, “I am not like you. My body is old, and I need to rely on these external objects to resist the corruption of those things.”

Kronos put the pocket watch on himself and said, “But I am very curious, what exactly happened that made you so eager to return to Earth?”

Michael spoke faintly, “The traitor hidden among the Earth’s Gods has been found.”

“Oh?” Kronos was also a little curious, “Who is it?”

“Odin! He betrayed Yelande.”

“What?” Kronos was somewhat surprised by this answer. “How is that possible? He also ascended to the moon back then and witnessed the danger of those guys. Is he mad?”

“Since the matter has already occurred, I no longer wish to delve into the reason. Odin must die.”

A chilling coldness and Killing Intent erupted from Michael, and feeling Michael’s negative emotions, the Cthulhu deep within the moon stirred restlessly once more.

Boom!

From the damaged part of the Seal, huge black tentacles and countless bizarre creatures surged out.

Kronos glanced indifferently at the surface of the Seal. He moved the pointer on the pocket watch and said faintly, “Go back!”

An incredible scene unfolded. Except for Kronos himself and Michael, all things on the moon seemed to rewind like a movie, constantly moving backward along their original trajectory.

Until all the scenes returned to the exact moment Kronos recorded the moon’s time.

Kronos closed the watch cover. He looked at the sudden rust appearing on the watch’s surface and sighed.

“The time I can hold on is limited. I hope everything goes well for you, and then you come back to relieve me.”

Michael also noticed that although this Divine Artifact’s power was terrifying, each use came with some wear and tear.

“Don’t worry, I won’t make you wait too long.” With that, Michael raised his hand, and a golden light merged into Kronos’s body.

Kronos looked at Michael in surprise, “This is…”

“A trivial Miracle, it can help you weaken the backlash caused by your abilities.”

After doing all this, Michael spread his six-winged wings, slowly ascended, and then his entire body transformed into a brilliant golden light, flying towards the azure Earth.

...

Northern Europe, Asgard.

Inside the Divine Hall, Odin punched down his throne.

“The Great Xia Gods are too much! They actually used such despicable methods to slander me.”

At this moment, the Norse Gods standing below were all trembling, and besides fearing their Norse God King, they also seemed to have a bit more wariness towards him.

“God King, please calm your anger. I would like to go to Great Xia to find out why the Gods of Great Xia are spreading rumors.”

The one who spoke was Thor, the God of Thunder.

It turned out that as soon as Song Zhong successfully refined the Origin of the Divine Kingdom, he discussed with the Primeval Lord of Heaven and the others to release the news of Odin colluding with the Cthulhu evil god.

The current situation was extremely unfavorable for Great Xia, so Song Zhong felt that instead of sitting idly by, it was better to strike first.

For Great Xia to gain a glimmer of hope, it could not allow the three great Divine Kingdoms to join forces. Therefore, he had to muddy the waters; the more chaotic the situation, the more beneficial it would be for Great Xia.

So, under his arrangement, the Primeval Lord of Heaven led various Gods, not only going to the three great Divine Kingdoms but also revealing Odin’s collusion with Cthulhu and Loki.

As Song Zhong expected, the small movements of the Olympian Gods immediately stopped, and Vishnu, who had entered Great Xia, immediately returned to the Tian Shen Temple after being informed of this news by Celestial Worthy of the Primordial Beginning.

The most awkward was Asgard.

The Primeval Lord of Heaven, along with the God of Thunder and the Goddess of Lightning, directly shouted curses outside the Rainbow Bridge, calling Odin a cowardly, treacherous, and corrupt scoundrel.

As if fearing that the Norse Gods would not hear, the Primeval Lord of Heaven even had the God of Thunder and the Goddess of Lightning summon heavenly thunder, using its power to make the sound reach every corner of Asgard.

Originally, the Gods of Asgard wanted to request to go to war, but the command they waited for was not to start a war, but to close the Rainbow Bridge.

Facing such a great humiliation, Odin actually chose to Seal Asgard, cutting off the only path to the outside.

This left the Gods of Asgard puzzled, but out of respect for the God King’s authority, no God dared to question him, especially when facing an enraged Odin.

Odin glanced at Thor, the God of Thunder, and said, “Do not be deceived by the lies of the Gods of Great Xia. I have seen the future; the Gods of Great Xia are brewing a conspiracy against Asgard.

I have seen the Twilight of the Gods, and to avoid this disaster, I must close the Rainbow Bridge.”

Upon hearing Odin’s explanation, the atmosphere among the Gods below eased slightly. After all, who could accept their own God King colluding with an evil god?
