Rebirth before Apocalypse: My Whole Family are Bigshots!

Chapter 368: Chapter 368: Entering the Main Gate

The scene in the courtyard came into view.

Three or four teenagers were headbanging in the yard, their long hair disheveled.

They looked to be only about sixteen or seventeen, with a defiant appearance.

The Bai Family was stunned.

They were still at a school-going age.

”Who is it!”

The door was kicked open, and the teenagers in the courtyard finally reacted, looking impatiently towards the entrance.

They saw seven people in protective gear, covered tightly from head to toe, and vaguely discerned that the one in front was a frail-looking girl.

Though her face was unclear, it made them raise an eyebrow.

Just a girl, it’s all the same.

Whether she looks good or not doesn’t matter.

”Hey, you at the front, can you take off what’s on your face and let me see what you look like!”

A young man with dyed yellow hair eyed Bai Xiqin up and down.

His eyes were not clear, lacking the countenance expected for his age.

”Ah!”

As soon as the young man spoke, before he could act tough, he was struck by two bolts of purple lightning and fell directly to the ground.

It was Leng Yebai and Bai Anhai.

The young man with yellow hair twitched on the ground, then lay motionless, his fate unknown.

”Someone actually dared to make trouble here!!”

The other youths, seeing the Bai Family take action, all looked furious. Somehow, they pulled out several kitchen knives and charged towards the gate.

Their expressions were extremely excited, looking as if they were invincible.

Clearly just teenagers, yet acting so worldly.

Lacking any youthful vigor.

Moreover, their faces occasionally twisted with a murderous intent to cut down the Bai Family.

Like reckless bandits.

It seemed the smell of zombie blood they had been around had influenced them to varying degrees.

Several girls cowered in a corner, hoping that when the fight was over, they wouldn’t be affected.

They had only been here for two days, yes, only two days and they had become like this.

Everything here was a nightmare.

Their behavior was more brutal than any crime novel they had ever read.

Thinking of the events of the past two days made the girls shiver with fear.

Every day, girls died, and every day, someone carried their bodies out to be buried.

Yet those people showed no guilt on their faces.

They wanted to take their own lives but had no chance, as someone was always nearby.

The worse it got for them, the happier it made their captors.

Every attempt at suicide, if noticed even slightly, was met with more extreme retaliation.

Not all kids are good kids.

”Ah!”

”Boss, help...”

Screams pulled the cowering girls back to reality.

The girls looked towards the doorway with dull expressions, where they saw demons lying motionless on the ground.

A glimmer of light flashed in their dazed eyes, but soon faded, as they quietly huddled together for warmth.

There was a leader here, the boss of these demons.

His superpower was strong, strong enough to lead town survivors to clear away all the zombies in the town.

Strong enough that, just over a disagreement, he wiped out the town’s survivors, turning this place into a paradise for just over a dozen people.

The so-called disagreement was that the demons wanted the survivors to offer them the best treatment.

The negotiations failed, and a fight broke out.

The demons won.

And the people he took action against included his former neighbors, classmates, teachers, and even parents.

These demons were strong enough to make some outside superpower users work for them.

These superpower users were all men, some even in their thirties or forties, who brought truckloads of girls in order to stay in the town.

But the number of girls in this courtyard remained around a dozen.

Because every day, someone died.

These were things the demons bragged about to each other.

For them, it was something to be proud of; one even carefully described the details of how he strangled his nagging parents.

The girls’ dull eyes flicked to the Bai Family, their mouths opened as if to plead for help, but they couldn’t summon the words.

They were truly terrified, scared of these demons younger than them.

In just two days, they had ingrained in them the belief that they couldn’t escape the demons’ grasp.

The memory was branded into their hearts, impossible to forget.

The rock music was so loud that those inside the building didn’t hear the commotion outside.

Bai Xiqin’s fingers moved slightly, and the power line of the speakers in the yard directly snapped.

The deafening rock music abruptly stopped.

”Why did the music stop! Wang Chao, what are you doing!” a teenager cursed, pushing open the living room door and immediately seeing several classmates lying on the ground, ”Boss! Someone’s here to mess up the place!”
