Divine Level Witch Doctor

Cheng Haoyu flopped back on the yacht and laughed heartily. ”This trip was so worth it! Not only did we successfully hunt a Raccoon Power, we also took out a bunch of Ant Thieves! It’s just a shame we can’t tell anyone about it. We’re missing out on some serious bragging rights.”

Ying Ji and Hao Li both nodded in complete agreement.

The haul from this trip was huge, but unfortunately, they couldn’t show it off. If the Ant Thieves found out they were the ones who had snatched the prize from the tiger’s mouth, they would definitely retaliate. None of them wanted to live under the constant threat of assassination.

Zhao Yuan remained silent, his brow furrowed in thought.

According to what Ying Ji and Cheng Haoyu had said before, many people wanted to take down the Ant Thieves. But because their security was so tight, no one knew where their headquarters or leaders were, leaving them willing but unable to act.

But for him, that wasn’t a problem at all.

He had the Tracking Technique. Finding the Ant Thieves’ headquarters and the whereabouts of their leaders would be as easy as flipping his hand.

However, the Ant Thieves were a massive organization. It was completely unrealistic for Zhao Yuan to think he could take them on alone. Even with Ying Ji, Hao Li, and the others, it would still be impossible.

After some thought, Zhao Yuan thought of the Cultivator Forum and an idea struck him. ’I’ve got it! I’ll use a proxy to register a new account on the Cultivator Forum and post the location of the Ant Thieves’ headquarters and leaders. So many people want to destroy them. If I can’t do it, someone else can step up and rid the world of this menace!’

The Ant Thieves had nearly killed him. He couldn’t let this grudge go unanswered!

Zhao Yuan mulled over the idea carefully. He decided that when the time came, not only should he use a proxy, but he should also post from a place like an internet cafe. That way, even if the Ant Thieves had a tech-savvy computer genius who used special methods to trace the real address from the proxy IP, they still wouldn’t be able to figure out that he was the one who made the post!

As for the security cameras inside and outside the internet cafe, Zhao Yuan had plenty of ways to make them malfunction.

The more Zhao Yuan thought about it, the more feasible the plan seemed. ’This is the plan! Even if it doesn’t wipe out the Ant Thieves, it’ll at least give them a hell of a time!’

Just then, Ying Ji waved a hand in front of his face and asked, puzzled, ”Why are you spacing out? Thinking about something good?”

”Nothing, really. I guess I’m just a little tired,” Zhao Yuan answered vaguely, not revealing the truth.

When it came to plotting against the Ant Thieves, the fewer people who knew, the better. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust Ying Ji and the others, but he didn’t want to drag them into it and put them in danger.

Ying Ji didn’t suspect a thing. She said with feeling, ”Whether it was hunting the Raccoon Power or taking out those bastards from the Ant Thieves, you put in the most effort. It’s only normal that you’re tired. But don’t rush off to rest just yet. Let’s divide up the spoils.”

Zhao Yuan was a bit surprised. ”Divide them now? But the Raccoon Dog Meat hasn’t been cooked yet.”

Cheng Haoyu chimed in with a laugh, ”We’re not in a hurry to divide the meat. We’ll deal with that after Hao Li cooks it. But the Raccoon Power’s hide and bones—we can split those now. Both are treasures, first-class materials for Artifact Creation.”

”I see.” Zhao Yuan nodded and took the hide and bones out of his Storage Ring. At the same time, Ying Ji and Cheng Haoyu took the same items out of their own Storage Rings.

Zhao Yuan had originally planned to divide the hide and bones into four equal shares, one for each of them, but Ying Ji disagreed with that plan.

She said with a serious expression, ”Like I said before, you put in the most effort this time, so of course you should get the largest share of the spoils!”

Before Zhao Yuan could object, Hao Li loudly agreed, ”I agree! If it weren’t for Little Brother Zhao this time, we’d probably be dead at the hands of the Ant Thieves, let alone be here ’divvying up the loot.’ I’m ten thousand percent behind Little Brother Zhao taking the biggest share!”

”I also think we should divide it this way,” Cheng Haoyu added, seconding Ying Ji’s proposal.

Seeing that all three of them were serious, Zhao Yuan no longer refused.

He wasn’t a pretentious person to begin with, and the Raccoon Power’s hide and bones were genuinely valuable things. Refusing any further would just seem insincere.

After some discussion, Zhao Yuan took forty percent of the hide and bones, while Ying Ji and the others each took twenty percent.

After placing his share of the hide and bones into his Storage Ring Space, Zhao Yuan turned to the Bone Woman and said, ”When we get back, I’ll make you a set of Skin Armor and a Bone Blade, so you’ll have some decent equipment!”

The moment he’d obtained the hide and bones, several methods for Artifact Creation had already appeared on the Information Leaf. Zhao Yuan took a look. According to the methods provided by the Information Leaf, the Skin Armor and Bone Blade he could make would both be high-quality Magical Artifacts! They might not be on par with the Wind and Thunder Whip, but they would definitely be much better than ordinary Magical Artifacts.

”Thank you, Master!” the Bone Woman replied, overjoyed.

The White Cat, whether out of jealousy or something else, started meowing insistently at Zhao Yuan, clearly unhappy.

Zhao Yuan chuckled, speechless. He rubbed the White Cat’s head and said, ”What, you want something too? No problem. When we get back, I’ll use the Raccoon Dog Hide to make you a little jacket.”

”Dang Kang, Dang Kang.” Hearing there were good clothes to be had, the two Little Dang Kangs also ran over to join the fun, acting cute and clamoring at Zhao Yuan.

Zhao Yuan found he really couldn’t refuse them and could only agree. ”Yes, yes, yes, everyone gets one!”

Fortunately, neither the White Cat nor the two Little Dang Kangs were very big. Even making a small leather jacket for each of them wouldn’t use up much Raccoon Dog Hide.

This scene made Ying Ji and the others burst into uncontrollable laughter.

Cooking the Raccoon Dog Meat was no easy task. Hao Li needed to return to Lakefront House to use the special stove in his room. That stove had a Talisman Array set up within it, and it was also enhanced with other Runes that could preserve as much of the ingredients’ Spiritual Qi as possible, preventing it from leaking out.

For this reason, the group didn’t waste any time in Huashang. As soon as the yacht docked, they had to drive to the airport.

Cheng Haoyu planned to go with them to Rongcheng City. He couldn’t wait to eat the Raccoon Dog Meat, and he was just as eager to get his Storage Ring and Qi Condensing Powder, so he decided to move into Hao Li’s Lakefront House to ”expedite the delivery” from close by.

As they were getting off the boat and into the car, Zhao Yuan glanced around and sighed. ”I’ve been in Huashang for several days, but I haven’t had a chance to look around or buy any gifts for my family and friends back home. I’m starting to suspect I came to a fake Huashang.”

Everyone was amused by his comment.

Ying Ji teased, ”The key thing is you didn’t get to buy anything for your girlfriend, right?”

Cheng Haoyu slapped his chest and said, ”Next time you come to Huashang, I’ll be the host. I’ll take you all over the place to have fun and sightsee. I guarantee you’ll eat well, live well, and have a great time in Huashang. As for gifts, that’s simple.”

He turned and whispered a few words to the pretty girl who had met their boat. She hurried over to a sports car parked at the dock and pulled several bags out of it.

Cheng Haoyu gave all the bags to Zhao Yuan and said with a smile, ”These are all Shanghai specialties. I had them in my car to give to friends. You can take them back as souvenirs.”
