--------------------------------

”New Eridu Sixth Street is now a Rift Zone! Lasts for one hour!”

”Anyone wanting to catch pets, hurry up and come!”

”Trading monsters! I have three types from different factions, only want one Antimatter Legion · Trampler!”

”I have the Disciples of Medicus Sanctus · Shape Refiner! Can’t beat it! Everyone, hurry and help me!”

”Goddammit! Why am I out of stamina! Damn! Where’s the top-up button! I need to recharge stamina!”

”Cash for monsters! Only want high-level ones! Bosses are even better!”

”Damn it! How did catching a pet drop me a Star Dome! What is this thing?”

...

The heated scene.

As the number of players increased, it began to appear everywhere.

Those who didn’t know were completely puzzled, feeling like everyone today was under some kind of spell.

And apart from these people catching pets, some sharp-nosed game streamers also caught on, and without receiving any sponsorship deals, they voluntarily started livestreams to grab a share of the traffic.

”Everyone! It’s me, Fu Shi! I’m on the high-speed train right now!”

A youthful-looking, pretty female streamer held up her phone, speaking excitedly on the train.

A few hours ago, she was still one of the obscure ones in Nagazora City.

Usually she just played games, sang songs, her concurrent viewers had never exceeded a thousand.

But just an hour ago, after finishing watching the main series and downloading Aetherium Wars, She blew up in popularity.

Fu Shi held her phone, watching as people kept flooding into her livestream. She felt completely dizzy.

Concurrent viewers?

That number had already surpassed ten thousand, a number she never dared to dream about before.

She had once racked her brain for ways to bring in traffic, singing, doing everything legal she could, but her popularity never rose.

It even made Fu Shi doubt if she was fit for this career. Maybe I’m just boring at playing games, maybe I lack charm. Maybe my voice isn’t nice, and my singing isn’t attractive.

All that self-doubt was resolved today.

Because after watching the main series, she saw the announcement and downloaded Aetherium Wars.

With the mindset of ”streaming something is better than nothing,” Fu Shi started livestreaming the mobile game.

And then, her viewer count skyrocketed in an instant.

She was so happy she almost cried, giving a heartfelt speech to try and keep her viewers.

Twenty minutes later...

The number of people in her livestream had already surpassed five thousand.

She began to feel panicked.

And now, her viewership had already surpassed ten thousand, still rapidly increasing.

She began to feel numb.

It was only now that Fu Shi realized a truth: Choice is greater than effort.

If there weren’t so many people watching, she’d have wanted to laugh like a villain, slap a miHoYo logo on her hand, and shout: ”Life is just this easy.”

To seize this massive wave of fortune, she had done her best to satisfy her dear viewers.

For example, right now, a higher-level zone had just descended in another province’s city:

Critical Overlimit · Abundance

According to the setting, this was the highest-tier zone drop and a possible boss zone.

Unlike ordinary zones, the high-level monsters inside would spawn in large numbers, and there was even a one-in-a-ten-million chance of spawning a super monster, i.e., a boss monster!

...

: Hurry up and get to Wind City! Damn, I saw the video in the group, so many high-level monsters inside!

: Ahhhh! I want to catch them too! Only normal zones near me! Damn!

: MiHoYo please, I’m begging! Spawn an Overlimit Zone near my place!

: Fu Shi, hurry up! Show the brothers something amazing!

...

The viewers in the livestream were sending comments.

This was exactly the greatest decision Fu Shi had ever made.

After the Overlimit Zone appeared, she boarded the high-speed train, and through livestreaming, she let the viewers who couldn’t go in person experience the splendor of the Overlimit Zone together.

This made her popularity skyrocket even more.

There were many people like Fu Shi.

Meanwhile, as the spawn point of the Overlimit Zone, Wind City was almost about to explode.

”?”

”Is there a war?”

”Why is everyone from all directions rushing toward Wind City?”

The people in Wind City’s transportation department were completely dumbfounded.

In the command and dispatch center, on the huge display screen, you could see that with Wind City as the central point, all the surrounding main traffic routes were basically a sea of red.

It gave the illusion that people from all over the country were coming to overflow Wind City.

They even had to check if a celebrity was making an impromtu visit to the city.

Given the city’s infrastructure capacity, it was momentarily difficult to support such a massive influx of people.

The relevant personnel were starting to panic, because they hadn’t received any prior notice.

A huge crowd means a huge responsibility.

But just then, a phone call came in.

However, instead of clarifying the situation, it left them even more confused.

”Huh?”

”What do you mean by ’Critical Overlimit spawned in Wind City’?”

”Is that term even in the traffic management manual?”

”Critical Overlimit · Abundance? Honkai Star Rail Universe?”

”What does that mean... are aliens invading?”

It must be said, for a group of old-timers obsessed with roads and vehicles, understanding this in a short time was a bit difficult.

In short, afterward they roughly understood the situation.

Apparently, miHoYo’s game was holding a real-life event in Wind City, which caused such a massive influx of people.

After hanging up the phone, the person in charge at the dispatch center blinked, looked at the crowded traffic map on the screen, and had only one thought in their head,

Damn it. What kind of game can get thousands of people to all gather in one place?

Can this game produce gold bars or something?

...

Wind City.

The spawn point of the Overlimit Zone.

In the suburban park area of Wind City, it was already packed with people.

Originally, everyone was here trying to team up to capture high-level monsters.

But with the appearance of a massively popular and extremely powerful Abundance boss, people had gone crazy.

”Attack! Phantylia’s only got half her HP left!”

”Brothers, charge!”

”Grind her down to death!”

”Damn! All my pets are dead! Anyone with extras, lend me a few!”

”I’ve already called in reinforcements online! Everyone’s heading here!”

”The world’s first top-tier pet! We must make Phantylia fall here!”

”Once she’s at low HP, it’s all about luck! But no matter who catches her in the end, today we must make Phantylia taste our strength!”

”Unity!”

”A raid in real life! I’m fired up!”

Unlike what the fans who hadn’t yet arrived in Wind City imagined, there was no PK (player killing) or real-life PvP because of the monster capture.

Instead, the thousands of people gathered in the park were passionately fighting the ”world boss.”

The Undying · Phantylia.

In the final hour, she appeared in the area. As the top-tier monster, her HP, resistance, and combat power were far beyond what a single player could handle alone.
