I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

: True! When I was watching, I thought, despite how scary the Glamoth Iron Cavalry sound, they’re actually really warm toward each other!

: Firefly’s companions all have such strong personalities. Will they meet again in the future?

-------------------------------------------

: I didn’t expect that this PV actually had no tragedy, that’s really nice!

: But there are also strange parts, these people are all very young, isn’t that abnormal on a battlefield?

: Even that member of the guard unit, after removing the armor, looks to be only around twenty years old?

: Are there no veterans? Or is it that Glamoth Cavalry has some kind of showcase?

: And from the conversation between Firefly and her companions, it seems like Glamoth’s military rules are very strict.

: Not just strict, look at the military rule introduction in the profile, and then think about the conversation among those three just now, I feel like the consequences of disobeying these rules... might not be good...

: Hiss...

: I don’t dare to think about it, I don’t dare to think about it, let’s quickly watch the next one.

: As long as there is no tragedy, it’s fine!

...

The Audience were enthusiastically discussing in the bullet comments.

Overall, the first PV met Audiences’ expectations.

It showed what kind of experience Firefly had before, and her time as a warrior.

Those strange points that appeared also prompted everyone to rush toward the second PV.

But after seeing the name and cover of the second PV, everyone froze.

The name was The Embers of Glamoth!

And the cover was Firefly crying.

...

: Damn, MiHoYo you’re not even pretending anymore, straight to The Embers of Glamoth?

: Just a second ago Firefly was smiling, and the next second she’s crying?

: This knife strike is way too fast, isn’t it?

: Damn! At least show us one more happy scenes!

: I knew it! How could MiHoYo be so kind and give us sugar?

: And this isn’t Myriad Celestia Trailer, it’s a short film?

: Just a second ago I was watching Firefly’s daily life, and now you tell me there’s tragedy?

: Doesn’t MiHoYo know everyone is eating lunch at noon? And you give us this as our meal companion?

...

Many viewers felt a sinking feeling in their hearts.

But in the end, they still couldn’t resist their hesitation and clicked in.

In complete darkness, MiHoYo’s logo appeared.

A trembling breathing sound emerged in the dark.

It was a female voice.

Along with this breathing sound, SAM’s anxious voice appeared as well.

”Command, Fyrefly Squad Four has spotted the Swarm Mother.”

As soon as the words fell, more chaotic voices of SAM followed.

These voices were full of anxiety and tension.

”Reinforcements..”

”Fyrefly Squad Two has lost signal!”

”Enemy engagement in Rift Valley!”

”Forward, Forward!”

”I repeat! Requesting reinforcements!”

Different from the first PV’s beautiful and soothing rhythm, The Embers of Glamoth immediately gripped the audience’s heart.

Amid these tense words, Firefly’s tired and dazed face emerged from the darkness.

Her delicate little face was covered in beads of sweat.

She was panting heavily.

SAM’s hologram overlapped with Firefly’s face, like a transformation, replacing her image.

The flickering light shone on SAM’s face.

Intense explosions, gunfire, and wing-flapping sounds all mixed together, filling the audience’s ears.

The camera gradually pulled back.

SAM stood atop a huge pile of bug corpses.

And behind it, there were countless bugs swarming everywhere, dense and overwhelming.

Flaming lines of gunfire surged in from all directions, tearing apart the air.

To emphasize the number of bugs, in just two seconds of the pulled-back shot, several groups of bugs already flew past dangerously close.

Not only that, in addition to the visual effects, there were also a large number of uncomfortable sound effects, piercing into the viewers’ ears.

The buzzing of flying bugs, unknown screeches, and explosive blasts.

The visuals and sound, everything seemed so chaotic and disorderly, even though SAM was still standing strong.

The audience’s attention was always being drawn to these other little details.

Different from the usual presentation style, this completely conveyed the chaos and suffocating atmosphere of the battlefield within just a few seconds.

...

: Such an apocalyptic scene...

: Is this... fighting against Swarm Disaster?

: This scene is too despair-inducing!

: So many bugs?

: Such an overwhelming scene, it’s completely crushing countless movies... it’s just too stunning!

: Did Firefly really participate in such wars before? That’s insane!

: Are these the same Squadmates from the previous PV, the ones with the bright aura?

...

This scene stunned countless people into speechlessness.

And amid such chaos, Firefly seemed to have rested enough, she piloted SAM and moved again.

She continuously blasted apart several attacking bugs.

But there were simply too many bugs, some of them charged in desperately, making SAM difficult to control, almost toppling over.

Among them, there were also extremely dangerous self-destructing bugs.

Amid the scalp-numbing buzzing, a streak of fire shot in from outside the camera, blocking the bugs’ assault.

An unknown SAM appeared, standing in front of Firefly, repelling the attack.

In this intense battle scene, there was a short moment focusing on Firefly inside the cockpit.

She finally got to catch her breath, then regained her focus and looked ahead.

”On your feet々.”

”The target’s straight ahead, keep pushing forward!” The other SAM turned their head and ordered.

In the darkness, Firefly’s eyes regained their determination.

Her voice merged with the voice of SAM’s mecha: ”Affirmative!”

The horn symbolizing counterattack suddenly sounded!

In the grand music, the two SAM’s indistinguishable from each other charged toward the distance together.

More SAM mechas also gathered from all directions, forming an entire formation.

In the wide-angle shot, amid heavy smoke and violent explosions, the SAM formation launched an assault forward!

Above them, all around, were dense swarms of insects stretching beyond sight!

The six SAM’s seemed so lonely, yet it added a sense of tragic grandeur to this charge.

And in the corner of the wide-angle shot, one SAM flying in the sky was frantically torn apart by the swarm.

Even with flight-assisting thrusters, the sky was, after all, the domain of the swarm.

This little Easter egg was deliberately included to explain why the SAM’s were making a ground assault.

Along the way, the SAM squad was constantly attacked by the swarm.

They fought fearlessly, almost without regard for their own casualties, while more SAM’s kept converging from everywhere.

But the swarm created by Tayzzyronth was even more frenzied.

As the camera panned to the sky, aside from the area where Firefly was, the entire visible land was erupting with intense battles.

The sky was a gloomy apocalyptic scene.

Huge fireballs caused by terrifying explosions continuously blasted across different areas.

Yet the endless swarm never diminished.

...

: The difference in numbers is too hopeless...

: Can they really win? Won’t they be completely annihilated?!

: Is this a defensive war or an offensive war? If it’s an offensive war, the officer commanding this battle should be executed by the empire! This is sending them to their deaths!

: There are so many SAM’s, I can’t even tell which one is Firefly anymore.

: Suddenly... it feels like... every one of them is Firefly.

: Oh my god! Please don’t die!

: Space comedy turned into space war...

...

The grand war scene made the audience hardly dare to blink.

But at this moment, the charging SAM squad suddenly stopped.

Everyone looked up into the air.

On the opposite side, behind the mountain range, a terrifying giant creature slowly emerged.

Along with it came an oppressive sense of danger.

The music grew more dangerous and grand.

In an instant, countless viewers felt chills. As if they had developed a fear of massive creatures!

Along with this gigantic Swarm Mother came even more stingers.

The swarm, like a tsunami that sought to devour everything, madly surged toward the surroundings.

Amidst the buzzing, a portion of the stings rushed toward the SAM squad.

But even just this small portion was already overwhelming.

The first SAM to take the brunt reacted, but under the absolute advantage in numbers, was quickly destroyed.

The mecha, in the collision with the swarm, was like a rag doll.

One bug smashed its head armor. More bugs followed close behind.

A female voice let out a painful cry amid successive impacts, jerking into a grotesque ”dance.”

Her upper armor was torn apart in an instant by the swarm.

In that fleeting shot, the audience could only see her long hair.

Then she was mercilessly buried beneath the swarm.

More SAM’s were surrounded by the swarm.

Before the audience could react, one death scene after another appeared in succession.

SAM’s engulfed by self-destruct sting’s. SAM’s pierced through. Almost instantly devoured, leaving only twisted wreckage.

The video gave the audience no time to breathe, showing the brutality of the battlefield in full.

It was only to tell all Audiences’ one thing: ”Glamoth Iron Cavalry” was not just a cool title.

They were weapons of war. And as long as there is war, there will be cruelty and death.

This was the environment Firefly was in.

The comment section was now empty. No one had the mood to post anything at such a moment.

They only stared nervously at the screen, trying to tell from the dead figures, from their hair or certain features, whether one of them was Firefly, or one of those SAM’s from the previous PV who made a brief appearance but left an impression.

But they couldn’t tell.

The only thing they could see was that every dead SAM was very young.

Within seconds, the swarm had almost completely slaughtered the squad.

Only two SAM’s were still barely holding on.

The two stood back-to-back, relying on each other for life.

In the darkness, Firefly was exhausted to the extreme, yet still gave her all fighting the swarm!

”Whoever’s still alive cover me, I’m going for the Swarm Mother.”

Amidst the chaos, the other SAM spoke.

From the tone, it sounded like the one who helped Firefly in the first scene.

...

: Too cruel...

: Hearing that ’whoever’s still alive,’ I almost lost it.

: That line hit so hard, such an indescribable feeling, just... so tragic!

: The atmosphere is too suffocating, whether it’s this other SAM or Firefly, neither of them has the time to think about anything else.

: The other SAM asked this question as if it had long been accustomed to it, as if it were only natural...

...

Among the only two remaining SAM.

Whether it was Firefly or the other one, in such an environment, they instinctively couldn’t care about anything else.

But to the audience.

The fall of each SAM meant a vivid, living life lost.

Audiences are naturally kind.

Seeing life so easily perish, of course, stirs a deep, piercing sadness.

This is human instinct.

When, after a battle of heavy losses, the first words of SAM were ”Whoever’s still alive?”, that disregard for life, even contempt for life itself, made the audience feel a piercing pain in their hearts.

What kind of days could make Firefly and the others treat life, the most precious and valuable existence, with such disregard?

A wave of heartache surged in their hearts. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ

”Take it.”

SAM handed Firefly a signal transmitter.

”What’s this...?”

Firefly took it, and the transmitter automatically unfolded its panel.

”Activate it when you see the signal!”

The other SAM finished speaking, and without looking back, charged toward the Swarm Mother.

Firefly stood there, staring blankly at the figure.

This SAM’s movement and experience were excellent.

Surrounded by the swarm, they twisted and dodged, gradually closing in on the Swarm Mother.

When the distance was right, SAM leaped, intending to use one final burst of speed to approach the Swarm Mother.

They almost succeeded.

But at the very instant they landed, a massive spike pierced through their entire body, lifting them into the air.

That sickening squelch made the audience feel as though their own hearts were pierced!

In the tragic horn’s call, SAM tore off his visor, defiant and threw it at the Swarm mother.

For the first time, he revealed his true voice, a trembling and gritty male voice shouted:

”Now commencing... scorched-earth operations...”

”-For Her Majesty!”

In the final moments of life, even his voice had become hoarse.

The audience was utterly shocked, their scalps tingling!

They stared at the screen, dumbfounded.

Firefly’s eyes widened as he watched his companion shout the oath, and tears welled in his eyes.

But his mouth unconsciously joined in shouting the same glorious oath.

The next second, Firefly pulled the trigger.

From the sky above, a beam of purgatory light descended straight down.

The Swarm Mother.

The mountains.

The overwhelming swarm.

And countless SAM’s, as small as the swarm itself.

Including Firefly herself all were enveloped within this dazzling light.

The audience too stared blankly into this final brilliance.

...

: ...They’re insane, they’re all fucking insane!
