Looking at the questions in the comments, Rion, who has always been exceptionally well-versed in miHoYo’s plot and world-building, shook her head blankly.

”I don’t know...”

-------------------------------

She really can’t tell the difference.

But as a streamer, even if she can’t analyze it, she still has to grit her teeth and try.

Before that, though, Rion scrolled the mouse and took a look at the comments under this ”Myriad Celestia Trailer.”

Sure enough.

The debate below was very intense.

The entire comment section was in chaos.

This was also the first time such a fierce debate erupted over content from ”Myriad Celestia Trailer.”

The focus of the debate was:

What kind of person is Sparkle really?

And whether, from Sparkle, the currently most powerful and possibly even the Emanator of Elation, one could catch a deeper glimpse into the path of Joy itself.

But people’s opinions diverged significantly at the very first step: defining who Sparkle is.

Some believe Sparkle is exactly as portrayed in the content, someone with mental issues who was ultimately saved by Joy and found her meaning in life, which is why she follows the crew and protects Stelle.

Those who disagreed cited Sparkle’s final, slightly sarcastic question:

”How can you be sure the story of JK Sparkle isn’t just something Sparkle deliberately wanted to show?”

Then another side chimed in: if you can’t prove it’s fake, how can you claim it’s real?

They brought up how Mihoyo wouldn’t produce meaningless ”Myriad Celestia Trailer” as evidence.

In short...

The scene was very heated.

”No way, I can’t analyze this at all.”

Rion looked at the comments, scalp tingling.

Just as she was about to give up, she suddenly saw a post that got straight to the point about whether the debate was really about mental issues.

”It’s not about whether she has mental problems.”

”It’s a clash between two different interpretations of Joy.”

Rion offered a quick explanation, this, she did catch.

”Sparkle represents Joy. How you interpret Sparkle is essentially how you interpret the powerful path of Joy.”

”So even though they’re arguing about Sparkle, it’s no different from those power-level debates on debate competitions.”

At this point, Rion felt it was getting abstract, and the audience might not fully get it, so she continued:

”One group believes Sparkle caught Joy’s attention because of her mental issues, just like how other Aeons choose followers.”

”The other group thinks if that’s true, it suggests that becoming a Masked Fool follows a template or method, which isn’t joyful, or Ahaha-like, and lacks any coolness.”

At this point, the confused audience finally started to understand why the debate was so intense.

Ultimately, it was because the path of Joy was too alluring, and there’s still no clear explanation for that path.

Only through Sparkle can one get a glimpse of the bigger picture.

And since this touches on one of the grandest elements of the Honkai: Star Rail universe, of course the debate won’t be small.

”My expertise is in screenwriting, in breaking down brilliant story structures, but... but I don’t think I can dissect this ’Myriad Celestia Trailer’ featuring Sparkle.”

”But I do agree with one thing, that a short, condensed scene hides very deep meaning.”

”In just these few minutes, even though 80% is repeated footage, I’m sure there’s a hidden message.”

”I can’t figure it out, but based on my professional instinct, I can only say one thing.”

”The fewer the words, the more is hidden.”

Rion had chosen his stance.

That is, the ”Sparkle is normal” camp.

...

: Hmm... Then I’ll side with the Sparkle is normal camp too.

: But if she’s normal, why would she become a Masked Fool?

: After hearing the host, I’m even more confused.

: It’s definitely weird. First, the length is too short, very different from other ”Myriad Celestia Trailer.” Second, there’s the repeated lines and scenes.

: Is it a narrative trick? Since the scenes keep repeating, it must mean Mihoyo hid something in them.

: Then by that logic, does it confirm that Sparkle’s already gone crazy?

: Tsk... Seems like it, but that conclusion doesn’t feel right. So what’s the point of all the repeated footage?

: Feels like a dead end. There’s definitely something we don’t know hidden in those repeated scenes, but the more we fixate on that, the more we fall into the assumption that Sparkle has mental issues.

: Ahhhh! Mihoyo, why make it so mysterious! Sparkle’s clearly so cute, and Joy is clearly such a happy destiny, why torment us like this?

: Damn it! I really want to ask Sparkle in person what’s going on.

...

And at that moment, the countless viewers still obsessed with Sparkle because of ”Myriad Celestia Trailer” had no idea, Sparkle was already having the time of her life.

”This is just too much fun々.”

”The boss is such a coward and a perv, but he’s pretty good at messing with the audience.”

Sparkle held her phone, playfully fiddling with her soft, pink feet, scrolling through the internet, watching people argue over her. Sparkle felt a long-lost sense of joy.

Of course, this joy was brief, only lasting a moment.

But that’s okay. She still had her little toy.

March 7th bit into a popsicle, eyes spinning like mosquito coils: ”Sparkle, Sparkle, so what’s this ’Myriad Celestia Trailer’ really about?”

One moment she thought this theory was right, the next that the other made more sense.

Her mind was now a total mess.

”Hehe, you guess.”

Sparkle looked at March 7th with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

”Hey, you, straighten your back when you’re talking, okay?” March 7th wasn’t happy.

”Alright, alright~”

”Actually... everything they said is wrong.”

Sparkle leaned in close to March 7th’s ear with a helpless expression and whispered, ”The true face of Sparkle is actually...”

March 7th perked up, fully alert, ready to hear the real truth from the source.

”A really, really dumb person.”

”Eh? Is... is that so?” March 7th froze.

Sparkle is actually dumb?

But she didn’t see that at all.

Still, she put on a sudden look of realization: ”Oh, so that’s how it is!”

”Exactly, exactly!”

Sparkle laughed even more joyfully and continued, ”And the real Sparkle doesn’t actually look like this.”

”Really? Then what does she look like?”

March 7th asked eagerly.

”She’s actually a little taller than now...”

”Mhm, mhm!”

”And she doesn’t wear red clothes, she wears a blue and white outfit, full of girlish charm.”

”Oh! I love that contrast! That’s so cool!”

”Right~ and she even has a leg band on her right thigh~”

”Such great design!”

”Even her hair is pink!”

”Wait a minute... Sparkle is actually a dumb pink-haired girl? That’s just, way, too, much, for, me!”

”See? I knew this would be exactly your type. And now, I’m going to tell you an even more shocking truth!”

”Tell me, tell me!”

”She also really loves taking pictures!”

”Wow! I also...”

March 7th suddenly stopped mid-sentence.

She reached up and touched her hair, then subtly glanced at the leg band on her thigh and the camera hanging at her waist.

”...You’re calling me a dumbass, aren’t you.”

”Pfft... Hahahahahaha!”

”That’s too funny! Seriously, not even thousands of netizens fighting in the comments could top that reveal!”

Seeing March 7th finally get it, Sparkle burst out laughing, rolling back and forth on the sofa.

”I am not some dumb pink-haired girl!”

”You, me, ugh...”

”Forget it, I know saying that won’t convince anyone.”

March 7th clenched her fists tightly, wanting to protest loudly, but in the end could only weakly shake her head.

’Damn it!’ Sparkle fooled her again.

”Hmph!”

”If you won’t say anything, fine. I’ll go find someone else.”

March 7th stood up and pouted.

She scanned the lounge.

By now, most people had gone to watch Tingyun and the others film their personal stories.

Only a few were still resting here.

Among them was one comforting and wise figure: Ratio.

Ratio was holding a book, but hadn’t turned a page in a long time. He seemed deep in thought.

”If I just go straight up to him, Ratio definitely won’t agree to help.”

”But luckily, I’m smart!”

March 7th chuckled to herself, quickly pulled up comments from the audience on her phone, and walked over to Ratio.

”Doctor, Doctor!”

March 7th interrupted Ratio’s thoughts.

He wasn’t annoyed, just glanced at her coolly. ”What is it?”

”Look at this.”

March 7th held up her phone, showing the screen full of online comments.

Out of professional habit, Ratio gave the text a quick glance.

Immediately, his eyes widened and his throat let out a nearly choking sound.

The text was just too dense with information.

Even with a cursory glance, the words had already uncontrollably wormed their way into his brain.

”Look, look! And here’s more!”

March 7th, unaware of what was happening, continued scrolling.

Ratio’s face turned completely pale.

Suddenly, he turned his head, reached into his inner pocket, pulled out a portable oxygen canister, and took a deep breath.

”Doctor! Why are you carrying an oxygen tank around?!” March 7th was stunned.

There’s no altitude sickness here, after all.

”Because of you.”

After inhaling the oxygen, Ratio looked much better.

”First, put your phone away. You need to understand, I have a terminal case of idiocy intolerance.”

”If I keep reading that, I’ll die.”

The professor rolled his eyes helplessly.

”No way it’s that bad...” March 7th awkwardly pulled her phone back.

”It is. But whatever.” Ratio pinched the corner of his eye, recalling the comments he just saw, and couldn’t help taking another hit of oxygen.

”Isn’t this a very simple question?”

”The boss already made it clear in the introduction, so why are there still so many people who can’t figure out what kind of person Sparkle is?”

He closed the book with one hand and got up to walk into the distance.

”Hey, Doctor!”

”Where are you going?”

March 7th quickly chased after him.

”My idiocy allergy is acting up. Fortunately, I’m a doctor, I’m going to treat it now.”

”As for you, go back and read the Concise Introduction to Philosophy ten more times!”

Ignoring the thunderstruck March 7th, Ratio went straight back to the study the company had prepared for him and opened his laptop.

”These idiots...”

Muttering to himself, the professor logged into his account.

And so, the one true god of Honkai: Star Rail plot analysis once again set off to save the audience.

...

In the livestream, Rion was doing her utmost to try to analyze this PV.

But suddenly, the chat exploded.

”Host (Rion), go check the official forum!”

”(The Professor) Ratio has spoken!”

Seeing the chat, Rion’s eyes lit up and she hurried to the official forum.

At that moment, the most discussed post was, unsurprisingly, by Professor Ratio.

”You all try to touch Joy through Sparkle.”

”Then why not analyze Sparkle through Joy?”

”Yes, some of you tried, but your definition of Joy is so shallow that it led to a distorted understanding of Sparkle.”

”Many people think Joy means seeking fun, in other words, looking for enjoyment and a sense of humor in life.”

”That’s not wrong.”

”But the kind of fun or humor most people think of isn’t enough to sustain the concept of a Path, let alone one as vast and boundless as Joy.”

”When you see dark jokes online, you feel joy. When you successfully insult someone, you feel joy. Even some twisted things can bring you joy.”

”But that is just superficial joy, the kind born of pressure, rejection, and distorted indulgence.”

”And what is the essence of happiness, or rather, of enjoyment? It is emotion.”

”Emotion lies in the experience, in the process, not in the outcome.”

”You fall in love sweetly, during the process of being in love, your emotions are deeply satisfied. That is enjoyment.”

”You go through failure, while experiencing failure, you feel deep pain. But to someone who values emotion, that too is enjoyment.”

”Does this remind you of anything?”

Upon seeing this question from Ratio, Rion, Miss Yun, and even many viewers in the livestream room instantly thought of two factions:
