Flash Marriage: He is a Wife-pampering Addict

Chapter 1569: 1568 Worse than beasts

“Wan Feng, what you said is wrong. Jinchen is also my son. If I don’t take him away, should I let him call another man ‘dad’?”

“…”

Feng Wanfeng was trembling with anger, opened her mouth, but couldn’t say anything.

“Listen, you mustn’t tell anyone about me taking Jinchen, and definitely not the police. Lu Yunfei is with me, you should know that if you call the police, you’ll never see Jinchen again.”

“You must not harm my son.”

Feng Wanfeng’s voice carried a trace of sharpness.

The more anxious she was, the happier and more satisfied Yao Dewei felt.

“As long as you help me with An Lin…”

“Kidnapping An Lin won’t threaten Qin Mu. Last time, he abandoned An Lin. You know that, don’t you?”

Yao Dewei certainly knew.

“Then tell me, who is it that Qin Mu cares about? That Wen Ran?”

“Dewei, why do you insist on seeking revenge against Qin Mu? The police nationwide are searching for you. You should quickly go abroad for safety.”

Feng Wanfeng’s words were met with a cold sneer from Yao Dewei.

“Qin Zhongnan caused my father’s death, made me a fugitive, and An Lin caused my son’s death. I must settle this score with them.”

“By today before noon, if you don’t bring An Lin or Wen Ran to meet me, then prepare to collect Jinchen’s body.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Yao Dewei hung up the phone.

Feng Wanfeng was completely stunned.

She was shocked by his words about collecting Jinchen’s body.

She couldn’t believe Yao Dewei could say such cruel words; Jinchen was also his son.

“Ma’am, should we call the police?”

Only when a nearby security guard’s voice sounded did Feng Wanfeng suddenly snap back to reality.

“No, no need to call the police.” Feng Wanfeng turned around and walked out of the community in a daze.

Her mind was very chaotic. Since Yao Dewei said that, it meant that if she didn’t do as he said, he would really hurt her Jinchen.

But she had harmed An Lin once.

She couldn’t do it a second time. If she did, even if she saved Jinchen, he wouldn’t be able to hold his head high in the future.

Thinking about Jinchen’s fondness for An Lin, Qin Mu, and their interactions with Tang Yang, tears welled up in Feng Wanfeng’s eyes.

In the hotel dressing room.

An Lin’s phone buzzed and vibrated in her bag.

Wen Ran, next to her, took her bag, found the phone, and handed it to her, “An Lin, I think it’s your cousin calling.”

An Lin pressed the answer button, and Feng Wanfeng’s choked voice came through the phone, “Linlin, Jinchen has been taken by Yao Dewei.”

“How could Jinchen be taken by Yao Dewei? Aren’t you at home?”

An Lin was startled, hurriedly asked the makeup artist beside her to pause.

Wen Ran and Jing Xiaocha looked at An Lin in shock; though they hadn’t heard Feng Wanfeng’s words, they had heard An Lin’s.

“An Lin, Yao Dewei forbids me from calling the police and threatens me to bring you or Wen Ran to his specified location. If I can’t do it, he’ll make me collect Jinchen’s body…”

Feng Wanfeng’s voice grew increasingly choked towards the end.

An Lin cursed angrily, “Yao Dewei, that beast, even spares his own son! Cousin, where are you now?”

“I’m at the entrance of the community, Linlin, what should I do? Jinchen is so small, I’m really afraid they’ll be utterly ruthless…”

“They won’t be, cousin. First, come to the hotel; we’ll discuss this together and surely bring Jinchen back safely.”

“Ah Mu said earlier that he’d send someone to pick me up. Alright, I’ll be at the hotel shortly.”

“An Lin, has Jinchen been taken by Yao Dewei?”

Wen Ran asked with concern when she saw An Lin finish the call.

An Lin nodded, “Yao Dewei is threatening my cousin to bring me or you to a specified place to exchange for Jinchen.”

“Sister An Lin, what does this have to do with Sister Wen? Does Yao Dewei also have a grudge with Sister Wen?”

Jing Xiaocha looked at An Lin and Wen Ran with big innocent eyes.

“Yao Dewei knows about Qin Mu and Mo Xiuchen’s relationship, so naturally, he realizes he can use any of us to threaten Qin Mu.”

Wen Ran explained calmly.

“So that’s the case, then let’s inform Mo General and the others now.”

While speaking, Jing Xiaocha turned to run out.

Wen Ran smiled and stopped her, “Xiaocha, are you eager to make amends? A phone call will do; no need to run personally.”

“Sister Wen, you see through it all, but I’ll still go myself.” After saying that, she dashed out of the dressing room like a gust of wind.

No one expected Yao Dewei would go to the house and take Jinchen.

Qin Mu left Feng Wanfeng and Jinchen at home, thinking it was safe.

Hearing Jing Xiaocha’s words, they all stared in stunned silence for a moment.

“We underestimated Yao Dewei. Now that he has taken Jinchen, it looks like he won’t appear at the wedding anymore.”

Lu Zhiyan spoke while glancing at the others.

Mo Xiuchen’s eyes instantly turned cold when he heard Jing Xiaocha say Yao Dewei wanted Feng Wanfeng to bring An Lin or Wen Ran.

Yao Dewei even dared to target his Ranran.

Everyone there knew why Yao Dewei involved Wen Ran.

Qin Mu looked at Mo Xiuchen, whose expression was cold as ice, and spoke softly, “Mo Xiuchen, for Ranran’s safety, you should go find her now.”

“Feng Wanfeng told us, which means she won’t do it,” Wen Jin analyzed calmly. “Zhiyan, can we search the entire city for Yao Dewei and Lu Yunfei? Lu Yunfei must be involved in kidnapping Feng Jinchen.”

“We can mobilize all of G City’s forces and use the internet to fish them out.”

This suggestion was unanimously agreed upon.

Once decided, they all made phone calls, mobilizing all resources to find Feng Jinchen.

Qin Mu made another call to Feng Wanfeng to confirm if Lu Yunfei was involved.

Minutes later, news of a four-year-old boy Feng Jinchen being kidnapped by fugitive Yao Dewei and his mistress Lu Yunfei spread rapidly across the web.

“Will this anger Yao Dewei, causing him to harm Jinchen?”

Wen Ran asked, a bit worried, as she came down from the dressing room.

After all, Feng Wanfeng had said on the phone that Yao Dewei threatened her with Jinchen’s life.

Mo Xiuchen comfortingly held her hand, “He won’t. Yao Dewei might not have liked Jinchen before, but since his other illegitimate son is dead, he won’t really harm Jinchen now. Those words were just to frighten Feng Wanfeng.”

“Yes, Yao Dewei won’t really kill his own son. In crucial moments, they’ll still need Jinchen as a hostage, and to deal with Qin Mu and An Lin.”

Lu Zhiyan also explained gently.

Mo Xiuchen knew Wen Ran was emotional because Momo was kidnapped before; today Jinchen was taken by Yao Dewei, so her emotions were slightly stirred.

“Xiaocha, accompany Ranran upstairs to find An Lin.” Mo Xiuchen paused slightly, then looked down and said to Wen Ran, “Ranran, I’ll come up to find you soon.”
