Giant Dragon Lord: Starting from Daily Intelligence

Chapter 634: Chapter 458: The Belated Otto III and the Blazing Flame Giant Dragon

He just grinned.

”Kid.”

He looked at Raylo and said slowly.

”You owe me a favor.”

Raylo felt a wave of relief and immediately nodded without hesitation.

”Yes, I owe you a favor!”

”Good.”

Gu nodded, then slowly got to his feet.

He walked to the edge of the cliff. His gaunt figure looked so frail in the raging wind, as if he could be blown away at any moment.

He slowly raised his right hand—calloused and gnarled like dry tree bark—toward the sky and gently extended it.

Then, he clenched it into a fist.

HUMMM!

In that instant, it was as if the entire world fell silent.

High in the sky, above the battlefield, the Six-winged Angel of Death entangled with the Flowing Wind Giant Dragon suddenly froze.

It seemed to sense something. For the first time, a flicker of emotion rippled through its vacant eyes as it jerked its head up to look at the sky.

The next second, a terrifying scene unfolded.

Ten thousand meters above its head, countless clouds, air currents, and even the free-floating Stone and earth Elements in the air began to gather madly at an unbelievable speed.

In the blink of an eye, a gigantic hand formed from rock and clouds took shape in the sky, blotting out the sun!

The hand was so enormous that its five fingers looked like five continuous mountain ranges.

During his earlier observation, Grand Elder Gu had shown a profound interest in the Light Holy See’s ”Angels of Death”—War Weapons created by using Divine Power to transform humans.

Now, he was going to catch one for a closer look.

The giant hand, once formed, didn’t pause for a moment. Wielding a world-shattering might, it swooped down viciously toward the Six-winged Angel of Death high in the sky!

The Angel of Death let out a piercing shriek.

It sensed a mortal threat!

It abandoned its attack on the Flowing Wind Giant Dragon. With a powerful beat of its Six Wings, it transformed into a streak of white light, attempting to escape the giant hand’s reach.

Beneath the giant hand, however, space itself seemed to turn into a viscous mire.

In that moment, its speed was reduced to a snail’s pace.

It could only watch helplessly as the giant stone hand that blotted out the entire sky drew closer... and closer...

BOOM!

The giant hand slammed shut!

The once-unbeatable Six-winged Angel of Death was snatched firmly in the palm of the stone hand without even putting up a decent struggle!

No matter how it struggled or how it channeled the Holy Light within its body, it couldn’t budge the five mountain-like fingers in the slightest.

Below, the battlefield changed in an instant.

The Flowing Wind Giant Dragon, which had been completely suppressed while fighting one against two, found the pressure on it suddenly vanish the moment the Six-winged Angel of Death was subdued.

It seized this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and let out a heaven-shaking roar. All its pent-up fury erupted at this moment!

It spread its wings, its enormous body seeming to merge with all the Wind Element in the world.

A boundless storm, with it at the center, swept out in all directions.

An overwhelming tide of Wind Blades, Wind Cones, and Wind Spikes, like an endless flood, completely enveloped the Holy Knight, who hadn’t even had time to react!

The Holy Knight’s expression changed drastically. He roared, and the Holy Light around him surged, forming a golden shield that protected him securely within.

Countless Wind Blades slashed against the shield, creating a rapid series of CLANGS and TINGS and sending out innumerable golden ripples.

However, this was only the beginning.

A cold, cruel light glinted in the Flowing Wind Giant Dragon’s eyes, which resembled the eyes of a storm.

ROAR!

It let out another earth-shattering draconic roar.

As its roar faded...

It unleashed its most powerful Disaster Magic: Storm Cage!

The sea below, already churned by the fierce winds, suddenly exploded!

A thousand colossal tornadoes, connecting the sea and the sky, rose up from the depths at the very same time!

What a magnificent spectacle!

It was as if the entire world had turned into a forest of tornadoes.

Then, as if guided by some unseen force, the thousand tornadoes began to converge toward the center, twisting around and merging with one another.

Finally, they formed a colossal, slowly rotating... cage, composed of a thousand tornadoes!

The cage completely sealed off the Tier Six Holy Knight, along with the hundred-meter space around him!

Countless tiny spatial rifts flickered in and out of existence at the cage’s edge.

This was the Flowing Wind Giant Dragon’s most powerful Disaster Magic, a death trap capable of grinding all life to dust!

”No!”

The Holy Knight’s terrified and desperate roar came from within the cage.

The Holy Light on his body erupted like a supernova as he tried to break free from the storm’s restraints.

Dazzling golden Sword Qi strikes lashed out from the cage, only to be instantly ground down and torn apart by the furiously spinning tornadoes.

The Holy Light flared and struggled, but it still couldn’t break through the Storm Cage, a prison built from the very power of heaven and earth.

His life force was being slowly worn away.

Seeing its nemesis trapped, the Flowing Wind Giant Dragon let out a gleeful roar.

It instinctively glanced at the other battlefield, wanting to see how the Angel of Death caught by the giant hand was faring.

But when it looked, its huge draconic eyes instantly froze.

To its astonishment, it discovered that at some point, the battle on the other front had... already ended.

The sky-blotting stone hand had vanished.

And there on the mountain peak, the Six-winged Angel of Death that had been captured lay motionless on the ground.

Its six white wings were broken, the divine radiance on its body had dissipated, and it was now just a cold corpse.

A deep shock flashed through the Flowing Wind Giant Dragon’s eyes.

’It’s over?’

’Just like that?’

’From the moment that old human made his move to the end of the fight, it probably wasn’t even a minute.’

’A genuine Catastrophe Level Angel of Death was dealt with so casually?’

It looked again at the old man who was now crouching on the ground, studying the Angel’s corpse. For the first time, an emotion called ”awe” appeared in its eyes.

Beside them, Raylo was equally stunned by the scene.

His mind even went blank for a moment.

’Is this the power of Grand Elder Gu?’

He recalled that day in the Jade Swamp, when the will of the Nine-headed Demon Serpent possessed Najasha’s Demon Serpent body. That Catastrophe Level power had suppressed him and his Giant Dragon companions, leaving them almost unable to resist.

And while the Holy Knight and Six-winged Angel of Death before him were also Catastrophe Level, they were clearly nowhere near the level of the Nine-headed Demon Serpent.

Even so, they were still true Catastrophe Level experts.

Yet Grand Elder Gu had been able to dispose of one of them so effortlessly.

This could only mean that the strength of this Great Elder of the Hill Giant Race had reached a terrifying level that Raylo couldn’t even begin to imagine.

Even among those at the Catastrophe Level, the gap between them could be as wide as a chasm.

Raylo took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the shock in his heart.

’Now is not the time to be getting emotional.’

According to the original plan, the Flowing Wind Giant Dragon and the Flame Giant Dragon ridden by Otto III were each supposed to handle one of the Light Holy See’s Catastrophe Level experts.

He, in turn, was responsible for dealing with the massive fleet below.

Now, with Otto III late, it was fortunate that Grand Elder Gu had stepped in and dealt with the Six-winged Angel, preventing the battle from collapsing.

The Flowing Wind Giant Dragon had already trapped the Holy Knight in the Storm Cage; victory was only a matter of time.

Now, it was his turn.

”Lightning!”

Raylo patted the back of the Blue Cat beneath him.

RAWR!

Blue Cat Lightning let out an excited draconic roar as its body swelled in an instant.

In the blink of an eye, a hundred-meter-long Thunder Dragon, covered in blue scales and wreathed in crackling electricity, appeared on the mountain peak.

Raylo swung himself onto the dragon’s back and gripped the hilt of the sword at his waist.

”Moonlight! Sun!”

he shouted.

The white cat and the orange cat beside him also let out draconic roars and dispelled their Transformation Magic.

An elegant Silver Dragon with scales as cool and clear as moonlight.

A majestic Golden Dragon with scales as brilliant as the sun.

Three Domain Level Giant Dragons appeared simultaneously on the mountain peak.

”Let’s go!”

Raylo commanded.
