Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4293: What is The Way? III

The terrifying burst of power, the meticulous and extremely delicate control they had displayed, it all made Noah’s eyes shine!

The Principle that Dr. Flamel wielded... it was a thing of terrible, beautiful efficiency.

In response to this audacious, overwhelming counter-attack, Forgemaster Vulcan and the other Elder Early Creatures simply harrumphed.

A new wave of Astral Arcana Glyphs bloomed above them, but this time, something was different!

From the bodies of the Elder Early Creatures, a new, golden light, the authority of a different Principle, washed over their own forces.

And in the next moment, the sky above the First Folds cracked.

The manifestations of the Astral Arcana Glyphs... they tripled!

Where one Mountain’s Judgment had been summoned, now three identical titans of stone and fury fell from the sky.

Where one Silent Forest had sought to impose its quiet law, now a trinity of them sought to suffocate the very sound of the war.

Chronos’s Bargain, now a trio of temporal wraiths, offered their terrible choices to three different sections of the Justiciar legion at once.

And this applied to all others!

It was a storm of impossible, multiplied power, and it crashed down upon the surging Justiciars with a force that made the very skies crack and boom!

BOOOM!

The massive wall of Aethelgard, the very rampart upon which Noah stood, buzzed with the sheer, overwhelming impact of the collision!

A second Grand Principle has been exerted.

Analysis: I have identified this as [The Principle of Bountiful Repetition]. A terrifyingly efficient offensive tool.

Effect: Allows the user to cast a single Astral Arcana and have its effect manifest multiple times. The number of repetitions is dependent on the caster’s own Complexity and the amount of Everythings they are willing to expend.

Conclusion: This is at the end of the day, a battle of Principles, Master. A clash of fundamental, reality-altering philosophies.

HUUM!

As he watched this glorious, terrible dance of power, Noah’s existence buzzed. He entered a sort of trance, his eyes watching everything with a cold, analytical clarity.

It all seemed like a dance.

One side made a move, and then the other made a move that was even more powerful to counter it.

Then, they incorporated their Principles, and the effects and capabilities of both the Living Existential Armors and the Astral Arcana Glyphs became unfathomably grander!

Noah’s eyes kept their tyrannical luminosity.

He had a faint, almost imperceptible smile on his face.

He was a nameless extra, and no one was paying any attention to him. And in that anonymity, he found a profound, almost giddy, sense of freedom.

He was smiling because the more he watched this calamitous battle, the more he saw. He saw the utilization of the Justiciars, the intricate, beautiful power of the Astral Arcana Glyphs, the oppressive, dominating weight of the Haki that was being exerted by every single Early Creature.

And he saw how all of it, every last bit of it, was ultimately being backed by the singular, glorious allure of Principles.

As he watched, a grand epiphany, a precipice of his own power, bloomed in his mind. He whispered, the words for him and him alone.

”All of these different systems of existence are ones that either THE Living Existences formed for Early Creatures, or simply the innate powers of Early Creatures. Whether it be the Astral Arcana Glyphs, Justiciars, Glyphs, or Haki...”

He paused, a universe of possibilities opening before him.

”All of it was made and designed by others.”

A new, more profound, and utterly tyrannical thought took root.

He was not just a user of systems. He was a creator. His Way of Existence was not to follow, but to forge.

He did not have to utilize these strict means and systems of existence of others. He could use their skeletons, their backbones, as mere references to make his own, grander system of existence!

HUUM!

He watched the war, at how, no matter what system was being used, all of them were being strengthened by Principles.

The answer was so simple, so elegant, so utterly, beautifully, terrifyingly obvious. He would design his own system!

A system that incorporated the burst potential of the Astral Arcana Glyphs, the sustained power of Haki, the symbiotic growth of a Living Existential Armor... and he would bring it all together under the grand, glorious, and absolute light of his own Principles.

He had already forged his own Principle of Cheating Architect and thr Living Existential Armor.

As for the others...

THE Living Existences gave the methodology of creating more Astral Arcana Glyphs to Gilgamesh? And one could only get that methodology from him? Fuck that.

He would simply forge his own system and make his own Arcana Glyphs!

Whatever they made, he would redesign and incorporate into something even grander. He would put it all and integrate it gloriously under the brilliant allure of Principles. After all, were Principles not the very weavings of Existence?

...!

Noah’s thoughts buzzed brilliantly, and his entire body, even in its suppressed state, began to circulate with a maddened, joyous fervor.

A moment of Quintessential Epiphany has been achieved.

Your Drops of Blood of an Early Creature are multiplying at a tremendous rate as your very being realigns to this new, grand design.

Your Towers of Osmont are surging with a new, exponential growth, their light reaching for a new, higher stage.

Your Heart pulses with an immensity that it has never felt before. It senses... The Way.

Your Way.

You have just stepped on the long and arduous, but ultimately, glorious road... leading to Your Way of Existence!

...!

Oh!

He could sense it.

He felt his endless waves of mana seething like a tumultuous sea that were telling him... guide us, tell us exactly where to go!

He smiled as he felt the fervent glare of his existence that threatened to spill out. Yes, he sensed his pathway, but he did not yet grasp it.

Others had the Way of Hunger.

The Way of Origin.

The Way of Paradox.

There were countless ways out there for him, and there were also none.

The day that he truly stepped and accepted a particular Way of Existence... that would be a grand day indeed!
