Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

”But why do they kneel and worship?” Weaver gritted his teeth and asked Ye Jian worriedly, ”How’s your back? Does it hurt a lot?”

Although her hands were tied behind her back, Ye Jian could still move her shoulders. ”I’m fine. It’s just a little painful. We’re entering Gistan now. It’ll be a little difficult for Captain Xia and the rest to sneak over.”

White Crane was very convinced by the young captain who was two years younger than him. He smiled softly and said, ”With him around, there won’t be any difficulties. They’ve always been tracking us down. It’s just a matter of time before he finds us.

”Before he finds us, we have to protect ourselves. Now that we’re here, it’s a little difficult to escape.”

They had probably entered Gistan. The seven of them were not as vigilant against the three of them. They stood nearly three meters apart, making it very convenient for the three of them to communicate secretly.

”I don’t want to escape now. I just want to know why they kidnapped us!” Weaver frowned. His voice was filled with anger. ”They kidnapped us overseas. How big of a game do they want to play?”

The Republic of Gistan was a country with many extremists. From time to time, they would cause riots in the city, especially when it came to the election of a new president. The extremist would be even more active then.

The election… Weaver narrowed her eyes and asked Ye Jian, ”Have you watched the new presidential election in Gistan?”

”I have. It’s still ongoing. There’s a huge commotion in a few cities because of the election.” Military school students would pay attention to this kind of news. Ye Jian was no exception.

As she spoke, Ye Jian seemed to understand something. She frowned and said, ”Are you saying that our kidnapping has something to do with the election? The connection is very far-fetched.”

”If the middle-aged man is an extremely evil person, it wouldn’t be far-fetched for him to kidnap us to create a commotion and frame our country.”

Their many years of chemistry allowed White Crane to immediately grasp the point that Weaver wanted to express. A mess couldn’t just be a mess. There were often political factors involved.

The extremists of the Republic of Gistan had always wanted to infiltrate their country, but they had always been captured and killed by their country. After a long time, they had long harbored resentment.

Now, the Republic of Gistan was in the midst of an election. If they kidnapped a few Chinese citizens and caused a commotion in the city, they would be able to slander the Chinese through the news media.

”If they really want to do this, we don’t mind letting them see blood in Gistan.” After Weaver finished speaking, a sharp whistle sounded from the front. About ten seconds later, the whistle echoed from inside.

Damn, this was a secret signal!

Weaver spat coldly. Right on the heels of that, the three of them got up and walked out with guns pointed at their heads again.

After walking for a while, Ye Jian saw a brightly lit village at the foot of the mountain. It was the border village of the Republic of Gistan. It was not much different from the border village in China.

The people living at the border of the two countries were all of Hanu and Ker ethnicities. They spoke the same language and drank water from the snow mountains of Tianshan. Their living habits and religious beliefs were the same. In the 1950s, the Hanu and Ker people in China could still enter this place to live and marry.

From the top of the mountain to the bottom, it looked very close. But in fact, it was a big distance. Ye Jian and the other two only arrived at this village at 5:00 am.

As soon as the three of them entered the village, someone ran out of the entrance to a village and walked to the middle-aged man in the lead to say a few words. White Crane pursed his lips. They wanted to lock Azure Bird up alone!
