Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

When Weaver heard the words ’border defense company,’ he quickly said, ”It’s the old company that you served in the army. It’s a good time to revisit this place to see if there are any changes.”

White Crane was more familiar with this place than Ye Jian and Weaver. Before he joined the Xueyu unit, he served in the border defense company in 1996. He only joined the Xueyu unit after passing the selection.

Many years had passed. Unexpectedly, he might appear in the border defense company again.

As for the changes… White Crane looked into the distance. The changes were too big. Back then, when he was in the border defense company, there wasn’t such a wide road. There was only a very wide dirt road.

The road to the border was much smoother and wider now. The biggest change was the increase in the military strength at the border. Those criminals who once crossed the mountains and entered China’s territory were basically unable to return.

The pickup truck was still moving. On the other hand, the intern soldiers led by Xia Jinyuan finally had their first live combat. They helped the secret service squadron to clear the combat area.

From 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm, the three combat areas A, B, and C entered a comprehensive clean-up stage. Ye Jian and the other two were getting closer and closer to the border. At 1:00 am, the clearing of the three combat areas ended. Z7 would send their location back to the military right before entering Gistan, which was when he would cut off their location tracking.

Ye Jian, Weaver, and White Crane were escorted by seven extremists. They crossed the nameless mountain range and left China’s territory, entering the territory of Gistan.

Ye Jian had gone overseas through abnormal means twice. Once, it was when she went to rescue K7. This time, she left the country illegally.

At 2:00 am, a transport plane sent by the Army Aviation took 46 special forces soldiers from the Xueyu unit and flew to the border between China and Gistan.

At 3:00 am, after walking for nearly four hours, they finally arrived outside the skyline where towering mountains stood on both sides and there was only a narrow path in the middle. This place belonged to the territory of Gistan.

It was also a must-cross point to enter the gang’s den.

The Republic of Gistan, which was established in 1991, was a landlocked country in Central Asia. It covered an area of 199,900 square kilometers. The Tianshan Mountains and the Pamir-Arai Mountains were located at the edge of the Central Auspicious Region. Ye Jian and the rest had crossed the Tianshan Mountains and entered the country.

It was very cold in the mountains at night, and the night sky was exceptionally clear. When they raised their heads to look at the night sky, they could even see a resplendent Milky Way. The stars were so big that it seemed like they could be plucked right out of the sky.

Ye Jian had just raised her head to look at the night sky when a strong wind came from behind. Ye Jian knew that a foreign object was about to hit her back, but she didn’t dodge and endured it.

The person hit Ye Jian with the butt of a gun, and it was the young man from before. Ye Jian staggered forward and was kicked down again.

”Sit down, sit down! If you move, I’ll beat you to death!”

The middle-aged man in the lead, who could speak in Mandarin, held a gun to Ye Jian’s head. He used Ye Jian as a bargaining chip and threatened Weaver and White Crane to sit down obediently. If they dared to run around, he would shoot the three of them.

The young man with the gun was even more brutal than everyone else. He hit White Crane’s abdomen with the butt of the gun and said stiffly, ”Sit down, sit down!”

This punishment was nothing to White Crane. He would feel such pain even during normal training.

The three of them, who were drenched in sweat, sat down obediently with their backs facing each other. They wanted to get closer so that they could communicate.

”They said we’ve reached. It looks like this is the bandits’ den.” White Crane was the first to speak. ”Among the seven of them, there are people from Gistan. The middle-aged man who’s leading the entire process might be an extremely evil person from Gistan.”
