The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Carson Flores returned Theo to the Ethereal Pagoda; after all, the pagoda is a world unto itself, vast and empty, inhabited by hundreds of Great Demons, so Theo wouldn’t be bored.

Since obtaining the Demon Summoning Banner, Carson Flores directly placed the hundreds of Great Demons into the Ethereal Pagoda. Initially, Theo was quite bored, but now she suddenly wasn’t.

Theo, like a mischievous child, would run to visit one family today and another tomorrow, which enraged many Great Demons, leading to clashes and fights.

Though Theo’s temperament is young like a child, her identity as a Starry Sky Magical Beast innately suppresses Demonic Beasts, not to mention Theo’s strength surpasses even the Peak Great Land Prime Immortal. While these Great Demons are powerful, how could they be a match for Theo?

These temperamental Great Demons got smacked down by Theo one by one and dared not bare their fangs at her anymore. Whenever Theo visited, they had no choice but to humbly welcome her, offering good food, drinks, and entertainment.

Over the years, Theo had become the child leader of the Ethereal Pagoda, becoming the nominal ”big brother” of these Great Demons. When Carson Flores doesn’t speak up, the Great Demons dare not disobey Theo.

Carson Flores returned to the reception station and called Carradine: ”Let’s go, time to head back.”

Carradine asked with surprise: ”Sect Master’s affairs are completed?”

Carson Flores nodded: ”Completed, time is limited, going back to cultivate in closed training!”

”Alright!”

Carradine agreed joyfully, staying at the War God Mansion, she actually felt a great deal of psychological pressure.

Carson Flores had offended many people; staying here, they could be targeted unexpectedly at any time, and given Carson Flores’s limited strength, she was very worried.

Returning to the Majestic Sect is good, away from the War God Mansion, surely that group won’t send people to the Majestic Sect to stir up trouble, otherwise, there would be consequences.

The two left the reception station, promptly departing the War God Mansion.

As soon as they left, someone at the reception station informed Taliesin Compton and Cyras Roth of the news.

With their status, just one word is enough to keep an eye on a few people at the reception station.

Taliesin Compton was playing chess with Cyras Roth; upon hearing the report from his subordinate, he raised his head with a frown: ”So they left just like that, so hastily?”

Cyras Roth sneered: ”They received their supplies earlier, Carson Flores stayed on to wait for the Hall Master to return. Now that the Hall Master has met him, there’s naturally no reason to stay; if he doesn’t leave, is he waiting for us to find an excuse to deal with him?”

Taliesin Compton asked: ”So what do we do now?”

Cyras Roth furrowed his brows: ”Today the Hall Master summoned him; reportedly, it was at the Lake Heart Pavilion, and they talked for a long time. Although we don’t know what the Hall Master discussed with him, the kid surely holds some weight in the Hall Master’s mind.”

”Revenge is never too late for a gentleman, and now is not the time to act rashly against him. It’s easy to provoke troubles when the Immortal Demon War is about to start. Once the war begins, there will be countless ways to kill him anyway, if someone has to die, why can’t it be him?”

Taliesin Compton said with resignation: ”So we’re just letting him leave safely now?”

Cyras Roth looked up at Taliesin Compton: ”Otherwise, should we block his way and kill him? He has a Superior Grade Great Land Prime Immortal on his side; getting rid of him is not easy. A slight misstep and you might implicate yourself; you know what the consequences of harming a fellow member would be, right?”

Taliesin Compton fell silent, eventually stood up: ”Alright then, let’s let him off. I’ll head back for now.”

Cyras Roth narrowed his eyes slightly, as if a gleam flashed in his eyes, but his face maintained a warm smile: ”Alright!”

After Taliesin Compton left, Cyras Roth tapped the table lightly with a chess piece, lost in thought.

Brannock Bernard, lying on the chair beside, laughed: ”Looks like he’s quite dissatisfied.”

Cyras Roth snapped back to reality, the cold gleam shining through his eyes: ”Dissatisfied he may be, but I don’t need to care about the feelings of a peripheral disciple; this guy has always wanted to use others to kill; don’t think I can’t see through it!”

Brannock Bernard grinned: ”Oh yes, all his words were aimed at encouraging us to act, right?”

Cyras Roth laughed: ”I clearly stated I wouldn’t act, now it’s up to him to make a move.”

Brannock Bernard paused: ”Will he act?”

Cyras Roth chuckled softly: ”Haven’t you noticed the rumors these days? The Compton Family’s reputation has been tarnished quite a lot. Although it’s a minor issue, being pointed out and ultimately forced to apologize is still embarrassing; he must be under significant pressure at home.”

”He wants to relieve this pressure, and that means dealing with Carson Flores. He approached us hoping to use a knife to kill but since I can hold back, not making a move, now it’s him who can’t hold back, and I think he will definitely make a move.”

Brannock Bernard got excited: ”Looking for someone to intercept and kill Carson Flores?”

Cyras Roth laughed lightly: ”The Compton Family is deeply rooted, with many strong members; getting rid of a Great Land Supreme Immortal wouldn’t be difficult. Moreover, as long as he decides to act, there won’t be a shortage of people willing to help, eager to curry favor with the Compton Family, haha!”

Brannock Bernard’s eyes lit up: ”Haha, then we’ll just wait to watch the show!”
