The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

”My father’s name is Nicholas... I’ve never met him, all of this is the memory he left for me.”

Crimson Mad shook his head violently: ”Nicholas, are you sure? Your father really called you Nicholas?”

Theo nodded affirmatively: ”Yes, my mother also told me so. She said my father was a warrior of the Starry Sky Demon Clan...”

Crimson Mad suddenly laughed heartily: ”So, you’re Nicholas’s child, ha ha, that guy secretly had a child outside!”

Theo excitedly widened his eyes: ”Senior, do you know my father?”

Crimson Mad laughed: ”Yes, I know your father. I even fought with him. But your father’s mind isn’t great, a bit stubborn, yet he’s quite good at fighting, hmm, just a tad better than me...”

Carson Flores pouted. For Crimson Mad to express it this way, obviously, Crimson Mad lost the fight with Nicholas thoroughly; otherwise, he wouldn’t admit defeat.

Theo became excited: ”Senior, do you know where my father is?”

Crimson Mad shook his head: ”Our Starry Sky Demon Clan are always roaming in the starry sky. If we want to stay, we stop in one world. Except for ourselves, others can’t find us. However, every ten thousand years, all Starry Sky Demon Clan return to the Ancestral Territory to participate in the ancestral ritual.”

Carson Flores interrupted: ”Then where is your Ancestral Territory, can Theo go live in your Ancestral Territory?”

Crimson Mad shook his head: ”The Ancestral Territory of the Starry Sky Demon Clan is very far from here, and to enter it, one must have the identity mark of the Starry Sky Demon Clan. It’s a mark recognized by the Ancestral Territory, bound to each of our souls. Even if I tell him the location, he can’t find or enter the Ancestral Territory.”

Theo was immediately disappointed because he was a typical wild child, without the Ancestral Territory’s recognition.

Carson Flores glanced at Theo and chimed in: ”Although his mother isn’t from the Starry Sky Demon Clan, he should be considered a member and should return to his roots, go back to the Ancestral Territory. Otherwise, won’t he always wander outside?”

”I can’t decide on that!”

Crimson Mad replied straightforwardly, paused, then continued: ”I also can’t find his father. Everything has to wait until the day of the ancestral ritual to possibly return to the Ancestral Territory and gain recognition. I’m just saying it’s possible, given his situation...”

The Starry Sky Demon Clan have their rules, Carson Flores naturally cannot interfere. After thinking for a while, he pleaded for Theo: ”Since childhood, he was alone, father left, mother passed away, without friends or family. Now, finally finding clansmen, why not let him stay by your side, senior?”

”You also know his father, why not help a bit, he can take care of himself. On the day of your Starry Sky Clan’s ancestral ritual, you take him back and hand him to his father, regardless of whether he enters the Ancestral Territory or returns to the Starry Sky Beast Clan, at least he can find his father, have family by his side, and not be lonely...”

Crimson Mad looked at the little guy below his head and muttered: ”Nicholas beat me once, and now I have to help him take care of a child, isn’t that too much for me?”

Carson Flores advised: ”Isn’t this a big favor? Anyway, it doesn’t require much effort, just keep him by your side. Later, when you meet his father, it will be his father thanking you, and you can tease him, laugh at him, isn’t that fun to think about?”

Crimson Mad’s huge eyes suddenly lit up: ”You’re quite the persuader, thinking of that scene, it’s indeed a bit interesting.”

Carson Flores giggled: ”That’s certainly quite interesting, so is this settled?”

Crimson Mad nodded, thought for a moment, then shook his head: ”I’ve agreed to help Norric here, if he stays here, he becomes free labor, not worth it, so here’s the thing, you say he’s more powerful than a Peak Great Land True Immortal, let him stay with you, he can help you, staying with me is useless, when the ancestral ritual comes, I’ll take him back.”

Carson Flores thought, this works too, Theo, this little guy, next to Crimson Mad, wouldn’t he get crushed if Crimson Mad rolls over while sleeping?

Carson Flores turned to Theo: ”What do you think?”

Theo listened to the entire conversation between Carson Flores and Crimson Mad, Carson Flores was always saying good things for him, and Theo was quite grateful.

Now that he can’t return to the Ancestral Territory, staying with Carson Flores wouldn’t be bad, after all, Carson Flores is a pretty decent person.

”Sure.”

Carson Flores smiled: ”Alright, then you follow me for now. If you want to chat with the senior, I’ll bring you here when there’s time!”

Theo decisively nodded: ”Okay!”

Carson Flores breathed a sigh of relief. He had promised Theo, and now it’s done, although Theo stayed with him, he’s a mighty ally!

Perhaps not as strong as Snow Zane, but definitely overwhelming regular Peak Great Land True Immortals. Moreover, Theo’s size allows him to stay by Carson Flores’ side anytime, outwardly claiming him as his Favored Beast...
