The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 2457: Chapter 2457: Since You’re Here, Why Not Come Out and Meet?

Just as Niall Sinclair walked out the door, the elderly man turned around and pointed a finger, pressing it against Niall Sinclair’s forehead.

A surge of spiritual power rushed in, and Niall Sinclair’s Sea of Consciousness was instantly sealed off.

Niall Sinclair was startled; she had originally thought of warning Carson Flores, but now she was completely out of options.

Niall Sinclair gritted her teeth and asked, ”Uncle James, did you guys discover me long ago?”

The elderly man smiled and said, ”Of course, but I’m also curious. Since you’ve already hidden your identity, sealed off your Sea of Consciousness, and pretended to be an ordinary person, why haven’t you left...”

”Since you’ve decided to leave, you definitely wouldn’t want to return to the Sect. You must be planning to leave Star River Island, yet you stayed, so we assumed you were waiting for someone.”

”We are also curious about what made you decide to oppose the Sect, who’s advising you from behind, so we waited to see who would come to meet you.”

The elderly man’s voice turned colder: ”You’ve mastered our Abyssal Sect’s top Absolute Skill, Primordial Profound Water Technique, and you’re the only one who’s done so successfully. Therefore, the Sect will give you a chance to correct your mistakes. Otherwise, we could perform a Soul Search on you directly, without the need to waste so much time.”

Niall Sinclair was silent for a few seconds: ”The person coming is just someone hired. I have nothing to do with him.”

The elderly man spoke calmly, ”He’s hired, which naturally means there’s a Lone Brave. Since you refuse to tell, we’ll naturally ask him. Besides, abducting a disciple from our Abyssal Sect is a charge enough by itself.”

Seeing Niall Sinclair opening her mouth to speak, the elderly man’s voice turned icy: ”Right now, you are like a mud Bodhisattva crossing a river, unable to protect even yourself. You’d better think about how to face the Sect Master’s punishment when you return to the Sect.”

Niall Sinclair’s face turned pale, showing a hint of terror in her eyes.

...

Carson Flores sat on the chair in the room, resting with his eyes closed.

Suddenly, he had a sensation of being watched, and he abruptly opened his eyes.

Someone is watching this house, someone is watching him!

Who is it?

Niall Sinclair?

It shouldn’t be. She should have gone out to do something, and if she returned, she would have come in openly, so why spy from outside?

Is Niall Sinclair targeting him?

This possibility seemed unlikely too.

Then there’s only one possibility left, someone is watching Niall Sinclair, watching this house!

Carson Flores felt a tension in his heart, glanced around and casually cast a Concealment Spell to block any potential surveillance from outside, then walked further into the room.

Carson Flores first set a Death Imprint on himself, then performed the Earth Escape technique, instantly submerging his body into the ground.

Carson Flores didn’t move far; he wanted to find out what exactly was happening.

Where did Niall Sinclair go?

Carson Flores re-emerged from underground, seamlessly blending into the massive willow tree at the doorway, and then remained still.

On the rooftop not far from the house, a young man was intently watching the house, but suddenly, the scene in the yard twisted and turned foggy.

The young man’s expression changed, Concealment Spell!

Since his master had already taken action to capture Niall Sinclair, he hadn’t been too cautious while keeping an eye on Carson Flores in the house.

People have come, do you still think you can escape?

With this mindset, he became much bolder in his surveillance of Carson Flores, and his direct gaze aroused Carson Flores’ awareness in the house.

The young man sneered, his figure springing up; since the other party was aware, there was no need for him to hide anymore.

In an instant, he appeared at the house’s entrance, beside the two large willow trees.

He walked towards the door, and the originally closed courtyard gate shattered into pieces, and he stepped into the house.

”Since you’re here, why hide? Why not come out openly and meet?”

There was no response from inside the house.

The young man waved his hand, and the Concealment Spell Carson Flores had set in place instantly dissipated, and his face immediately turned quite unsightly.

The house had no trace of anyone!

The person had escaped?

The young man’s expression shifted, his figure instantly vanished from the original spot, rushing straight into the house.

The young man spun around like a whirlwind, his face turning increasingly sullen, for the house was empty with no one inside.

Just now, he was sure there was someone in the house, but they vanished without a trace!

The young man quickly sent a message to his master, and a few breaths later, the elderly man appeared at the courtyard entrance with Niall Sinclair.

”Master...”

The young man anxiously approached to pay his respects, recounting the events just now.

The elder glared at the young man, looking displeased: ”Whoever came to pick her up wouldn’t be an ordinary person. I told you to keep an eye on it, but you scared them off!”

The young man couldn’t deny it because his behavior did indeed alert Carson Flores, prompting his clean getaway.

”I was careless, Master. What should we do now?”

The elder looked at the young man with disappointment, then turned to Niall Sinclair: ”Tell me, who is he? If you don’t speak, I’ll go back right now and kill that old woman...”
