The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 2456: Chapter 2456: You Don’t Want Anyone to Get Hurt Either, Right?

What’s your relationship with Lorvian Randall?

Carson Flores wanted to ask this question, but ultimately didn’t voice it.

Entrusted by others, one must be loyal to the task.

Whether it’s a beauty or a man, as long as he delivers her to a safe place, he’ll consider the task complete and the favor repaid.

While others might find quietly taking Niall Sinclair away challenging, for Carson Flores, it’s not difficult at all.

The Ethereal Pagoda can seal and isolate all signs, even if a tracking mark is placed on the target, once inside the Ethereal Pagoda it’s like disappearing altogether, no more tracking.

”When should we set off then?”

Niall Sinclair asked, ”I have some things to do, since you’ve come a long way, take a rest for a day and tomorrow we’ll leave, how’s that?”

”Alright!”

Niall Sinclair settled Carson Flores in and tidied up her disguise before heading out.

Niall Sinclair left and walked towards the other end of West Street, before soon entering a rather old courtyard.

”Grandma, are you in?”

An old, frail woman emerged from the house, looking at Niall Sinclair with a smile: ”I’m here.”

Niall Sinclair walked over and held the old woman’s arm, speaking softly, ”Grandma, have you eaten?”

The old woman replied with a smile, ”I have. Girl, you’ve come for something this time, right?”

Niall Sinclair nodded, speaking softly, ”My friend has arrived, I’m leaving soon. I came to give you something, and you must take good care of yourself in the future.”

The old woman’s face showed a pleased expression: ”Good, it’s good you’ve come, you’ve waited for him long enough, and I’ve been worrying lately.”

Niall Sinclair chuckled and led the old woman into the house.

Meanwhile, in the largest mansion on West Street, several Water Mirror images floated in the air, neatly aligned, showing scenes from Niall Sinclair’s doorstep, the entire West Street, the old woman’s yard, and more.

Before the Water Mirror images, an old man calmly watched the scenes, seeing Niall Sinclair guiding the old woman inside.

Next to the old man stood a young man, who sneered, ”We’ve been waiting for the prey for so long, finally someone has arrived. Master, should we act now?”

The old man nodded, ”Since Niall Sinclair is already bidding farewell to these people, it clearly indicates her contact has arrived and she’s ready to leave. To avoid accidents, I’ll capture her first.”

”Niall Sinclair might resist or alert others, so you should watch over that person at Niall Sinclair’s doorstep. If anything happens, act immediately, make sure he doesn’t escape.”

”Alright!”

The old man got up, hands behind his back, and slowly walked to the entrance, his pace unhurried yet reaching the door in the blink of an eye, blending into the crowd, leisurely heading towards the old woman’s home.

Niall Sinclair sat for a while in the old woman’s home, delivering many items and giving detailed instructions before getting up and walking to the door.

As she stepped outside, she immediately saw the old man standing at the door, her face changed instantly.

The old man smiled faintly at Niall Sinclair, ”Cassiane, it’s time to go home.”

Niall Sinclair’s eyes filled with a look of despair, ”Uncle James, you’ve been here all along?”

The old man smiled faintly, ”Of course, this is a bustling market, you’re kind-hearted and wouldn’t want innocent people to get hurt, right?”

As the old man spoke, his gaze intentionally or unintentionally glanced at the old woman standing next to Niall Sinclair.

Niall Sinclair understood the other was threatening her, if she didn’t want those she cared about to die, she had to surrender obediently and not make futile struggles.

Niall Sinclair took a deep breath, her face returning to calmness, ”Alright, Uncle James, I’ll go with you, don’t do anything reckless.”

The old man smiled faintly, ”If I wanted to act recklessly, I wouldn’t have waited until today. If you cooperate, no one will get hurt, and afterward, they won’t suffer any consequences.”

Niall Sinclair understood, the other was telling her, obediently return to the Sect and he won’t target these ordinary people she cares about. If she tried anything later, she’d have no one else to blame for any repercussions.

This was a threat!

Niall Sinclair nodded and calmly responded, ”I’ll go with you.”

The old woman next to her showed a tense expression, reaching out to hold Niall Sinclair’s arm but dared not speak.

Niall Sinclair softly comforted, ”This is my sect’s elder, it’s alright, I’m leaving, Grandma, take good care of yourself.”

The old man watching this scene slightly twitched the corners of his mouth, eyes showing some disdain.

He’s monitored Niall Sinclair for a long time and knows clearly that this old woman actually has no relationship with Niall Sinclair, other than helping her some when she first fled here.

Niall Sinclair, already a Great Land Immortal, yet treating a mere mortal with such regard, the old man felt it was pointless.

Niall Sinclair followed the old man out the door, her thoughts with Carson Flores still at home, her heart growing anxious.

They managed to track her so precisely, it was clear she had long been under their surveillance, unbeknownst to her.

Since they’d come for her, Carson Flores was surely in their sights too, possibly already with someone sent to capture him.

If they’ve monitored her for so long, have they been waiting for someone to arrive all this time?
