The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1826: Chapter 1826: I Seem to Be in Trouble

Nelson Matthews floated mid-air, feigning politeness as he cupped his hands towards Carson Flores: ”Special Envoy Lin, please enlighten me.”

Carson Flores smiled slightly: ”I don’t have much experience in battles or fighting, so I might not know my own strength. If I make any mistakes, please forgive me.”

Nelson Matthews sneered internally, not knowing your own strength?

You, a Mid-Stage True Immortal, how strong could you possibly be?

Still putting on a show?

”It’s just a spar, friendship comes first, competition second, but sometimes injuries are inevitable. Everyone can understand that. Special Envoy Lin, please be careful too.”

Carson Flores made a relieved gesture: ”That’s good, that’s good!”

Nelson Matthews summoned his Flying Sword: ”Special Envoy Lin, watch out!”

Carson Flores gestured with his hand towards Nelson Matthews: ”Come on then!”

Nelson Matthews cast a spell on the Flying Sword, which instantly turned into a meteor streaking towards Carson Flores.

Carson Flores neither stepped back nor dodged, but instead advanced towards the Flying Sword, casually drawing his Dragon Chant Sword.

The Flying Sword aimed for Carson Flores’ chest, but Carson Flores swatted it away like a fly, striking it precisely with the Dragon Chant Sword.

The Flying Sword veered slightly at an angle, flying past Carson Flores’ shoulder, then over him, landing behind him.

Nelson Matthews was shocked; what just happened?

How was my Flying Sword deflected?

The Flying Sword was filled with intense Spiritual Energy. In any collision, the energy should rush out and attack the opponent, but Carson Flores’ sword clearly touched it, so why didn’t it react?

In that brief moment of daze, Carson Flores had already neared significantly.

Carson Flores casually held the Dragon Chant Sword without showcasing any Defense Treasure or powerful offensive magical treasure, behaving like a solitary and fierce swordsman, clutching his sword tightly, charging madly towards the target and getting closer.

Though Carson Flores hadn’t launched any fierce attack yet, Nelson Matthews felt a bit panicked.

He maneuvered his Flying Sword again, making it change direction swiftly and once more dart like a fallen meteor towards Carson Flores’ back.

Carson Flores kept advancing towards Nelson Matthews, seemingly unaware of the meteor-like Flying Sword behind him.

Nelson Matthews sneered, intending to defeat me before my Flying Sword reaches you?

You’re kidding yourself!

Nelson Matthews maneuvered the Flying Sword again, increasing its speed as it darted like a comet sweeping down, aiming for Carson Flores’ back.

Before you close in on me, this sword will pierce right through you!

To defend, you’ll need to turn around and dodge!

Still thinking of attacking me directly?

Nelson Matthews activated his Defensive Robe, which immediately released a bright Barrier, cocooning him like a silkworm.

Nelson Matthews’ eyes gleamed as he tightly stared at the approaching Carson.

Even if I let you attack, you might not breach my Barrier. You’re just a Mid-Stage True Immortal. Let me show you the effect of being attacked from the front and behind!

Just as Carson Flores was about to collide with Nelson Matthews, to crash into the bright Protective Barrier in front of him, Carson took a step forward, path patterns appeared beneath his feet, and then he vanished right in front of Nelson Matthews.

Nelson Matthews’ pupils dilated, revealing a terrified look.

Carson Flores just vanished in front of him!

In Nelson Matthews’ pupils, Carson Flores’ figure was nowhere to be seen, only a sharp Sword Light!

Like a comet, the Sword Light suddenly appeared in the air ahead, transformed into a bright ray, striking his Protective Barrier hard.

What the hell!

Nelson Matthews cursed internally, realizing that his own Flying Sword was striking against his Protective Barrier.

I hit myself?

”Boom!”

Amidst the magnificent collision sound, the Protective Barrier on Nelson Matthews shattered!

Nelson Matthews was startled, intending to flee forward, but a terrifying pressure engulfed him as the overwhelming Sword Intent consumed the sky, encapsulating him entirely.

”Sword Intent!”

”Such pure Sword Intent!”

Nelson Matthews felt like he was plunged into an icy abyss, his body briefly stiffening.

In that brief moment, Carson Flores appeared from behind and delivered a punch, striking Nelson Matthews on the back.

Nelson Matthews spat out a mouthful of blood, transforming into a meteor, falling from the sky and crashing into a nearby mountain, causing half of it to collapse, burying him deep within.

Leighton Matthews and the others were dumbfounded.

Nelson Matthews was defeated just like that?

Carson Flores barely even made a move, yet with just one punch, he made Nelson Matthews puke blood?

Carson Flores turned to everyone with a smile: ”That punch seemed a bit too heavy. I didn’t expect that, as a member of the Dragon Clan, he wouldn’t withstand much beating. Nonetheless, the Dragon Clan is known for their tough skin and flesh, so he should be alright...”

Leighton Matthews’ gaze turned cold as he glanced at the calm Norah Matthews beside him, feeling a slight chill up his spine.

It looks like I’m in trouble.
