The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1646: Chapter 1646 This Was Done Thoroughly!

The duel between Evan Foster and Luis Heath has ended.

With Evan Foster’s accusations against Luis Heath, the higher-ups of the Northern Mystic Sect could no longer sit idle; the Enforcement Hall Master stepped forward and terminated the duel.

The Hall Master took the evidence from Evan Foster, declaring sternly that if what Evan said was true, they would severely deal with Luis Heath to uphold the Sect’s rules.

The Hall Master didn’t show any favorable attitude towards Evan Foster either, after all, this guy came to humiliate Luis Heath, which not only disgraced Luis, but also the entire Northern Mystic Sect.

If Evan Foster had no significant background, someone would likely have come forward to stop him from speaking further, and take him away along with the evidence.

As for what would happen after taking him away?

Do we even need to say it?

The evidence would simply vanish, and no matter how it’s handled in private, publicly they would definitely claim the matter wasn’t true, since the disgrace was not just about Luis Heath but the entire Northern Mystic Sect.

Now that Evan Foster spoke out in front of everyone, because of his special status, the Northern Mystic Sect couldn’t arrest him and had no choice but to grit their teeth and swallow the bitter pill.

Evan Foster naturally knew that regardless of how his actions were judged, he had surely become an unwelcome guest in the Northern Mystic Sect, so he immediately prepared to leave, since his purpose here had been fulfilled.

He was truly unhappy, simply wanting to beat up Luis Heath and reveal his brutal true nature.

”Young Master Evan, you are truly brave to expose Luis Heath’s true nature and slap him in the face in front of tens of thousands of Northern Mystic Sect disciples. Aren’t you afraid of not being able to leave Northern Mystic Sect alive?”

Evan Foster’s face was slightly pale, and he chuckled: ”Precisely because thousands are watching, I am safe. If this were in the wilderness, I’d have to think carefully about whether people would silence me.”

Carson Flores, at that moment, deeply admired Evan Foster. Although he didn’t kill Luis Heath, traveling such a great distance to beat up Luis and expose his true nature was not an easy feat.

In the Immortal Realm, mortals are like ants, and aren’t low-level Cultivators the same in the eyes of Immortals?

That Luis Heath could act so brutal without hesitation, isn’t it because he deemed himself superior, seeing those people as ants that can be casually killed without bearing any responsibility?

Carson Flores gave a thumbs up and sincerely said, ”Young Master Evan, this deed is commendable!”

Evan Foster gazed into Carson Flores’s eyes and suddenly smiled: ”You agree with my approach?”

Carson Flores nodded: ”Naturally.”

Evan Foster sighed: ”But I didn’t dare to kill him; merely beating him is futile.”

Carson Flores shook his head: ”Helping others should be within one’s capability. Your status is special; mishandling it slightly would bring trouble to the Treasure Path Sect. You’ve already done your utmost, which is commendable.”

”Though some may applaud your actions, I believe more Cultivators would consider it an overreaction, just over a few low-level Cultivators being killed, yet you still came, and that’s what I admire about you.”

”Although you didn’t kill him, his reputation is tarnished, potentially following him for a lifetime. Even if it can’t compensate for lives, it’s no small price, given he’s a notable figure.”

Evan Foster’s eyes brightened: ”Worth it?”

Carson Flores nodded: ”Even if not for the innocent dead, just for peace of mind, worth it!”

Evan Foster laughed heartily, his laughter unexpectedly carefree: ”Brother Lin, you understand me! To think it’s because of this matter you’ve opened your heart to me...”

Carson Flores smiled faintly, without explanation.

Evan Foster was right; he had always maintained a certain distance from Evan, but upon witnessing Evan’s deeds, his wariness lessened greatly, genuinely thinking Evan was a fine person.

Worthy of befriending!

Even though Evan Foster is the Saint Heir of the Treasure Path Sect, Carson Flores has his own pride.

In friendship, be sincere – what good are fake friends?

Evan Foster clapped Carson Flores on the shoulder: ”Come, Brother Lin, you’ve delivered your stuff, I’ve finished my business, let’s find somewhere to drink!”

Carson Flores laughed and said: ”Aren’t you unable to drink?”

Evan Foster laughed heartily: ”A thousand cups between confidants are too few. Today, I’ve vented my frustration, feeling joyous inside, and made a friend like Brother Lin; we must drink some. This feeble body of mine, it’s already like this, at most just feels a little worse, won’t die from it!”

Having treated Evan Foster, Carson Flores naturally understood his physical condition well; indeed, as Evan claimed, drinking might make his body uncomfortable, but it wouldn’t be life-threatening, so it’s not a big issue.

”Alright, if you dare to drink, I’ll accompany you!”

”Let’s go!”

The group returned to their quarters, packed up briefly, and Carson Flores was preparing to bid farewell to Wynne Heath, when suddenly he received a message from Wynne.

”Come to my Cave Mansion!”

Carson Flores was hesitating when Evan Foster came over, smiling: ”Packed up, let’s go!”

Carson Flores turned his head, smiled, and said: ”How about waiting for me a bit? I’ll say goodbye to a friend!”
