The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1636: Chapter 1636: How can you have the nerve to call me sister?

Carson Flores did not have much communication with Evan Foster. That night, Carson began his closed-door training.

This journey to the Heavenly Profound Continent might involve more dangers. After all, it’s the headquarters of the Heavenly Alliance, and Maggie Fitzgerald, the Red-robed Blood Envoy, is responsible for the eastern region of the continent.

The Divine Wood Palace is in the east!

No matter what, increasing strength a bit more means more safety.

The next day, Evan Foster sent a Maiden to invite Carson, only to learn that Carson had already begun his training. He smiled but said nothing.

The speed of the commercial Flying Boat couldn’t compare to the Flying Shuttle. Moreover, the Flying Boat’s route followed the city paths rather than in a straight line. Thus, it took two months for the ship to reach the city nearest to the Northern Mystic Sect.

Carson ended his seclusion and walked out of the cabin.

After two months of training, Carson consumed a lot of pre-prepared elixirs, significantly enhancing his strength, but he was still a bit short of reaching the Late Stage Earth Immortal.

Advancement is really difficult!

”Brother Lin, you went into seclusion for two months, you’re training too diligently.”

Carson smiled and said, ”I am not strong, so I take every opportunity to train, little by little.”

Evan Foster passionately proposed, ”Since we’re both headed to the Northern Mystic Sect, why not travel together?”

Carson smiled and said, ”Sure!”

Evan Foster showed a hint of excitement, ”Then let’s go.”

Everyone boarded the Flying Boat and headed toward the Northern Mystic Sect.

The Northern Mystic Sect is located among towering mountains, where mist swirls and waterfalls hang high, with White Cranes flying in the mountains, like a fairyland.

The disciple guarding the gate was startled to see Evan Foster’s grand entourage.

Who is this?

So extravagant.

So many beautiful women, making one envious!

”Excuse me, where are you all from?”

Evan Foster arrogantly called out, ”Evan Foster, Saint Heir of the Treasure Path Sect, here to fulfill a promise and challenge Luis Heath!”

Evan Foster!

Seventh on the Immortal Ranking, that sickly guy!

Immediately someone cast a spell to report inside the sect, and soon elder Shepherd Schneider came out to welcome the guests.

Though Evan Foster is technically a junior, he is the Saint Heir of the Treasure Path Sect. Such a status is remarkable and must be treated with caution.

After polite exchanges, Shepherd Schneider’s gaze fell on Carson, ”And who might you be?”

Evan Foster smiled and said, ”My friend, Carson Flores, who came with me.”

Carson cupped his hands and said, ”Skyland Continent, White Crane Immortal Sect, Carson Flores.”

Carson came to deliver a message for senior brother Clark Graham, so it was best to state his identity early on to avoid being looked down upon, seen as sneaky.

Shepherd Schneider nodded as a greeting, evidently not paying much attention.

White Crane Immortal Sect?

Not that significant.

A young disciple, why pay much attention?

”Everyone, please come inside.”

As they entered the mountain gate, the view suddenly changed. In front was a series of majestic peaks, and a massive Floating Isle hung in the sky between these peaks.

Floating Isle?

I’m familiar with this!

The group was taken to the guest reception area and settled in.

Even though they knew Evan Foster came to fight, they couldn’t just start a fight the moment the guests arrived and then kick them out after. Winning or losing aside, the great sect’s demeanor must be maintained.

”Young Master Foster, please stay for now. I will have Luis Heath come and meet you later.”

”Alright!”

Just as Shepherd Schneider was about to leave, Carson followed him out.

Shepherd Schneider turned his head in confusion, ”Do you have any other matters?”

Carson cupped his hands and said, ”May I ask if Wynne Heath is available in your sect?”

”Wynne Heath?”

Shepherd Schneider frowned, scrutinizing Carson, ”Why are you asking about her?”

Carson replied frankly, ”Someone entrusted me to deliver something to her, which is also why I’m visiting your sect.”

Shepherd Schneider nodded, ”What is it? I can pass it on.”

Carson smiled slightly, ”That friend hopes I personally deliver it to her.”

Shepherd Schneider furrowed his eyebrows, ”Follow me, I’ll take you to her Cave Mansion, but whether she sees you or not, I don’t know.”

Carson nodded, ”Thank you, Elder Shepherd!”

Shepherd Schneider soared into the air, with Carson closely following behind him, passing over several towering peaks, and landed in front of a Cave Mansion.

”Is Junior Sister Heath here?”

A calm woman’s voice came from inside the Cave Mansion, ”Who is it?”

”Me, Shepherd Schneider!”

”What brings brother Shepherd here?”

”A disciple from the Skyland Continent’s White Crane Immortal Sect claims to have something for you. I brought him along as I was passing by.”

The Barrier of the Cave Mansion suddenly opened, and the woman’s voice came out, ”Let him in.”

Shepherd Schneider indicated that Carson enter alone, then turned to leave, as the woman inside implied it was for Carson to come in alone.

Carson stepped into the Cave Mansion, where a beautiful woman in her early thirties sat on a chair, holding a book, her expression serene.

The beautiful woman was naturally the friend of senior brother Clark Graham. She was stunningly pretty, exuding elegance and composure, her eyes looking at Carson with warmth and tranquility, yet carrying a sharpness that pierced the soul.

Carson cupped his hands, ”Greetings, Sister Heath!”

Wynne Heath was amused by Carson’s words, ”You look quite young, how can you shamelessly call me sister?”
