The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1062: Chapter 1062: Deal with these wounds for him

Lilianna Norman steeled herself and followed Zaire Schneider into the cave.

The cave was large, dry, and spacious.

Carson Flores was laid on a stone platform, with Kellan Gentry and Jorge Gross standing in front, examining his injuries.

”Boss, Conner Flores’ wife is here.”

Kellan Gentry and Jorge Gross turned their heads, looking at Lilianna Norman with a slight surprise in their eyes.

Carson Flores had just attempted the Tribulation Crossing and failed, and now his wife had arrived?

Kellan Gentry sized up Lilianna Norman, ”You’re his wife?”

Lilianna Norman felt a little panicked inside, but she appeared very calm on the surface.

”Yes.”

Kellan Gentry turned to Zaire Schneider and asked, ”Are you sure?”

Zaire Schneider answered, ”I’ve seen her at the City Lord’s Mansion in Greown City.”

Jorge Gross frowned and asked, ”You’ve been following us all along?”

Lilianna Norman nodded reluctantly, ”Yes, I advised him not to look for you guys, but he didn’t listen, and I couldn’t rest easy, so I planted a Spiritual Imprint on him and followed him from a distance, just saw him fall from the sky during the Tribulation Lightning, I was worried something might happen to him...”

It made sense!

The light in the cave was not strong, so Kellan Gentry did not recognize that the woman before him was the Demon Race Holy Maiden whom he had once wanted to kill.

Kellan Gentry withdrew his gaze, looking at the unconscious Carson Flores, ”It seems he took too much damage from the last lightning strike. Although he’s technically advanced successfully, he needs some time to heal. It’s good that you’re here, so you can take care of him.”

Lilianna Norman was sparing with her words, ”Okay!”

Kellan Gentry said, ”I’ll have someone dig out a stone room for you. In his condition, we don’t know how long he will be unconscious.”

Lilianna Norman expressed her thanks, ”Thank you, you’re going to a lot of trouble for us.”

Kellan Gentry shook his head, ”Your husband saved all of our lives, this is nothing...Alright, we’re leaving, take good care of him.”

Kellan Gentry called two bandits over who quickly carved out a separate chamber in the cave and moved Carson Flores into it.

Kellan Gentry threw over a bottle of liquid, ”For treating external wounds. He still has many injuries, you take care of them.”

After Kellan Gentry left, Lilianna Norman looked at the unconscious Carson Flores, covered in blood, pursed her lips, and walked out.

”Where can I find clean water? He’s covered in blood...”

The two bandits responded, ”Just a moment, we’ll fetch some for you.”

The bandits soon brought back clean water, helping enthusiastically to carry it into the room.

Lilianna Norman looked slightly surprised, they were very enthusiastic about Carson Flores.

Carson Flores had saved their lives?

How did he save them?

This guy really had some ability...

Lilianna Norman took out a clean towel, soaked it in water, and began by gently cleaning Carson Flores’ face. Where there were wounds, Lilianna Norman’s movements were very gentle, careful not to cause him pain.

After cleaning his face, and looking at Carson Flores’ clothes that were so tattered and blood-stained beyond recognition, she hesitated for a moment, then with a wave of her hand, she levitated Carson Flores and removed his clothes and pants, finally, with her eyes closed, she even pulled off his underpants.

There was no helping it; they were too tattered and covered in blood...

Lilianna Norman used a cloth to hastily wipe him, quickly covered him with a towel, and then opened her eyes to find her face had already turned bright red.

When had she ever taken care of a man like this, let alone a naked one?

She could feel her heart pounding fiercely, as if it would leap out of her chest.

Composing herself, Lilianna Norman continued to clean Carson Flores’ wounds all over his body, meticulously and carefully, leaving no detail unattended.

Finally, after cleaning all the blood off his body and treating the wounds, Lilianna Norman began applying the healing liquid to all his wounds, and then covered Carson Flores with a large towel.

At last, it was done!

Perspiration beaded on Lilianna Norman’s forehead; it wasn’t a very tiring task, but she felt as if it had taken more out of her than a great battle.

Lilianna Norman pulled up a chair and sat down next to him, quietly watching the unconscious Carson Flores.

Lilianna Norman ended up waiting like this for three days, during which Kellan Gentry and Jorge Gross visited twice.

On the fourth day, the unconscious Carson Flores slowly opened his eyes.

The first thing Carson Flores saw was the ceiling of the cave; then he turned his head and saw Lilianna Norman wearing a veil.

Carson Flores blinked, his expression slightly confused.

He was supposed to be under the watchful eye of the Bandit Group during the Tribulation Lightning, which meant he should be with them right now. But why was Lilianna Norman by his side?

Having been resting with her eyes closed, Lilianna Norman heard the faint noise and opened her eyes to meet Carson Flores’ gaze.

Lilianna Norman’s eyes lit up with joy, ”You’re awake?”

Carson Flores looked around, ”Where are they?”

Lilianna Norman nodded towards the outside.

Carson Flores’ eyes widened a bit, and he lowered his voice, ”Are you out of your mind?”

Lilianna Norman pursed her lips and whispered, ”I saw you fall from the sky, I thought something had happened to you, so I came to check...”
