Three Towers Game

Chapter 136: Chapter 75: Miracle Mansion in the Desire Tower_3

He eventually chose number 12.

The 24-sided dice that only he could see rolled again. The result was 22.

[You rolled a 22. The necklace will deduct more life points, but correspondingly, it will grant you higher initial favorability and greatly reduce your presence.]

After several attempts, Wen Xishu noticed that the results were quite high. He realized that if the choice made was correct, it would easily trigger higher points, bringing additional attribute boosts.

Wen Xishu visibly weakened, losing 30% of his current life points, which made his face turn pale in an instant.

The purple necklace given to Wen Xishu by Wenren Mirror was already a bug-level item, plus the unique game boost in Scorpio mode—

The smiles on the two guards’ faces quickly disappeared.

At first, Wen Xishu thought there was a problem with the item... why did their original sweet smiles disappear?

But suddenly, Wen Xishu realized that the two guards seemed to ignore him and returned to their original posts.

Wen Xishu took a step through the door, and the two guards did see him, but they took no action against him.

Wen Xishu was surprised.

”They completely see me as one of their own, right?”

Reducing presence isn’t like the invisibility bug in basketball anime, but rather, when you walk past someone, they just feel it’s someone incredibly familiar passing by.

Wen Xishu didn’t delay. The necklace, which consumed tremendous life points, had a duration. The duration was half an hour.

The range covered by the necklace was enough to allow Wen Xishu to move freely within the building. He had to find An Jincheng within this time limit.

Wen Xishu walked towards the interior of the building.

The scenes along the way were completely different from those inside the Deceit Tower. There were only a few people inside the Deceit Tower, but the Miracle Mansion within the Desire Tower was filled with people.

All these people had numb expressions, mechanically repeating their actions.

Wen Xishu felt that the Deceit Tower seemed more normal than the Desire Tower, and the Desire Tower seemed more twisted than the Deceit Tower. Everyone here, like the staff he met in the elevator, was dressed in green.

They all ignored Wen Xishu, as if he was one of them.

In the elevator, Wen Xishu again encountered that staff member, but the person acted as if they didn’t see Wen Xishu, facing away from the elevator door.

The 42nd floor still required a card to access. So Wen Xishu pressed the button for the 41st floor.

This time, there was nothing strange about the elevator in the Desire Tower. Wen Xishu quickly reached the 41st floor and without any delay headed towards the stairs to the 42nd floor.

At the staircase to the 42nd floor, there were again two people dressed in green guarding it. But under the influence of Wenren Mirror’s necklace, they let Wen Xishu pass without any hindrance.

Wen Xishu was impressed, thinking how generous Wenren Mirror was.

The necklace’s attributes were indeed powerful. But if he didn’t leave the building on time after its duration ended, the consequences would be severe.

Because everyone in the building affected by the necklace would gradually start to feel aversion towards him.

Wen Xishu almost didn’t waste any time and jogged towards room 42-7.

At the door of room 42-7, there were again two staff members in green guarding it.

”The configuration of the Desire Tower might be exactly the same as the Deceit Tower in some places. In this case... if recklessly heading to the 42nd floor in the Deceit Tower, you might encounter the weirdly transformed staff directly.”

If the Anti-Magic Value is insufficient, even the staff could easily kill a Tower Climber. Wen Xishu was fortunate not to forcibly explore room 42-7 in the Deceit Tower.

Here in the Desire Tower, under the influence of the necklace, Wen Xishu knocked on the door directly.

The two guards first glanced at Wen Xishu. The smiles on their faces began to form quickly but gradually faded away.

In the end, the two guards stood still, ignoring Wen Xishu.

”If these people still had self-awareness... they might be very friendly to me. But now, they seem to have had their self-awareness erased by some force; everyone has become puppets of this building.”

”In the Deceit Tower, the other six households were all influenced by weirdness, in some places exceptionally exaggerated. So far, it seems they haven’t moved in yet.”

”And An Jincheng... or rather, An Zhenqi, was the first to move in. In other words, he has been influenced for the longest time.”

”I wonder what kind of distortion the effect of Reverse Seven has caused him.”
