Three Towers Game

Chapter 96: Chapter 62: Volunteering to Work Overtime to Explore the Deceit Tower_3

Wen Xishu said:

”Voluntary overtime, huh, that’s nothing new. You see, both times I explored the Deceit Tower, I brought back remarkable supplies.”

”These supplies can ensure that everyone in the bunker is well-fed and warmly clothed in the short term. This is a good thing; you should be happy.”

Liu Jinsen couldn’t feel happy; he deeply understood the dangers of the Deceit Tower:

”You don’t need to be in such a rush, you’ve just been back for two days... Normally, you still have five days to rest. Besides, it seemed like you weren’t very familiar with a lot of common knowledge about the bunker and the Three Towers.”

Wen Xishu said:

”Thanks for your concern, these issues are easily solvable. I’ve already crammed knowledge in this area.”

”Additionally, the initial tower climbing frequency was too slow. I found out that the logger records the number of explorations of the Three Towers. That watch-like thing has already changed from zero to two.”

”This also indicates that the number of times I explore the Three Towers is public. I wanted to let you know that this number might change frequently in the short term.”

Liu Jinsen was shocked. Could it be that Wen Xishu plans to climb the tower insanely frequently in a short time?

”What are you trying to do?”

”I’m an ambitious person; I want to get stronger. I also love hoarding items. Climbing the Deceit Tower more frequently than the agreement stipulates, Mr. Liu, there shouldn’t be any issues with that, right?”

Wen Xishu was speaking frankly.

He had felt the joy from these level-six facilities today. He couldn’t wait to bring back as many level-six facilities as possible.

Liu Jinsen said:

”This... Currently, there are no regulations preventing people from climbing the tower. Especially the Deceit Tower, it’s encouraged for everyone to ascend.”

”If you want to climb frequently, I can initially cooperate with you.”

”But the last time you climbed, someone saw you team up with five others, including people from the Bunker Civil Affairs Bureau. In the end, four out of the five people died, and the only survivor mysteriously disappeared.”

”This caused some trouble. Wen Xishu, you should understand the substantial human costs that the Security Bureau and the Civil Affairs Bureau paid to team up with you...”

Wen Xishu innocently interrupted Liu Jinsen’s speech for a moment:

”The Deceit Tower is really dangerous. Mr. Liu, I was very well-behaved in the Deceit Tower. In the tower, I befriended them, told them to love the bunker, love society, and build a harmonious home together. We formed a deep friendship in the Deceit Tower. I completely cooperated with the higher-ups’ requirements...”

”But they all died. I was powerless. I am just a weak fool from the Wen Family.”

Liu Jinsen was silent for two seconds:

”Alright, alright, I can pretend to believe you, but the higher-ups won’t. Now, under Principal Albert’s authority, the Security Bureau and the Civil Affairs Bureau have agreed to let you move around the bunker like a free person.”

”All facilities are open to you, and you won’t face interrogation threats like that.”

”But you also know clearly that all of this comes at a price. After each tower climb, you need to write a detailed climbing report. This is also part of the agreement.”

”Originally, you didn’t need to write reports since a successful team-up would have observers watching you. But as you said, the Deceit Tower is dangerous, and you are more... lucky than everyone imagined.”

Even Liu Jinsen’s choice of words was quite polite. Wen Xishu was obviously not lucky; he had indeed killed his ”teammates” in the Deceit Tower.

This also led to the failure of the plan to observe Wen Xishu, at least the first attempt ended in failure. Hence, the higher-ups had no choice but to request Wen Xishu to write the strategy guide himself.

Wen Xishu smiled and said:

”That’s too easy, it’s not a big deal. Rest assured, I can write the Deceit Tower strategy guide in no time, without missing a Chapter or delaying updates.”

”Is there anything else you need to instruct me on?”
