The Third Return of the Necrotic Magic Swordsman

For one week, Evan followed the same routine as he did back then.

He initially left his summons in the Boar field to kill the Boars, but the situation became problematic after rumors about the Necromancer prodigy spread.

Many hunters tried to interact with the skeletons, causing them to retreat limiting the hunt.

Evan grew frustrated after hunting a few more Boars the lower field.

He finally achieved his target, the Boss monster of the Boar field, the Boar King.

He obtained the Boar King summoning item and decided to hunt it on the third day. But he was confused as the data suggested that the Mini boss raid item could be acquired within 50 to 100 Boar kills but he obtained it after 132 Boar kills, which seemed excessive.

On the second day, he hunted in the Stag field where there were fewer hunters.

That day, he mostly sold Stags with just five Boars. He earned 11,06,000 for the hunts on the second and first day combined.

On the third day, he hunted the Boar King. Many hunters tried to steal the kill, but upon seeing who was hunting boss, they backed off, not wanting to mess with the Necromancer.

After defeating the Boar King, he upgraded to Lv.34.

He did not hunt or sell the Beast King’s body that day to avoid revealing his identity.

On the fourth day, five Boar Kings were defeated in the lower field. That day, he sold the Beast King bodies along with 65 Stags he hunted and obtained the Guardian Stag summoning item.

That day, he earned 33,60,000 for the hunts on the and fourth days combined.

The total he earned from six days of hunting was 61,83,063 CP.

It was too much for him, so he decided to donate them again after reaching the 50th Level.

The level he reached after all the struggle was Lv.42, after facing numerous challenges in four days of hunting monsters while being pursued by hunters.

On the fifth day of hunting in the Beast Grove dungeon, he even defeated the second mini boss, Forest Guardian Stag, which allowed him to achieve significant stat development and skill upgrades.

By the end of the sixth day, he finally reached Lv.50 by hunting the Bear monster in the caves, reaching the dungeon’s maximum limit. He couldn’t hunt anymore, or he wouldn’t be able to return to the dungeon.

The only thing he was sad about was not being able to hunt three monsters in the dungeon.

The first was the Bear boss, as he was only able to hunt 23 Bears to the end point, him 16,240,000 CP for all monsters and boss monsters.

He gained 54,000 CP for each Bear, while the Boss yielded about 400,000.

The second was the Main boss, which required hunting 100+ monsters and all three mini bosses.

The third was the unique monster, Thunder Wolf, which rarely appeared in the dungeon, sometimes in the second or third area.

At the end of the seventh day, he chose to relax, allowing his body to recover from the massive changes it underwent throughout the week.

His stats were already above 3+ in the Red spectrum due to the rapid use of the Plunder talent, while his weapon proficiency was also not lagging behind too.

The total achievements he was able to attain through his talent are as follows.

[]

[Stats Absorbed]

+199 STR | +196 AGL | +187 STA | +234 INT | +194 VIT | +218 END

[Skills Acquired]

Leap ×46

Mighty Roar ×23

Meteor Dash ×1

Seismic Rupture ×1(All modified for Host Suitability.)

[Skill Integration & Upgrades]

Existing skill detected. Converting excess skills into higher main source data…

Leap (Lv.16^)(Refined movement efficiency detected.)

Mighty Roar (Lv.8^)(Resonance power increased.)

Meteor Dash (Lv.4^)(Charge skill integrated due to shared base and origin.)

[System Notice]

[Unsuitable Skills Disintegrated]

150 Skill Fragments generated (75^).

[Plunder Restriction Notice]

That was the total plunder he did in these past days, included two new skills and two upgraded ones.

His EEP points reached about 2862 from the hunt alone, with total of 4912.

His level already ready to reach Lv.51 because his undead army was very master in hunting.

Even in the battle against two mini bosses, it took them twenty-thirty minutes to finish them, with little help from Evan due to the skills he learned after reaching Lv.30.

And was it; he didn’t any more skills like everyone had said. Even after reaching Lv.50, he didn’t gain that class special skill, which can be acquired by probability and increases with the grade of the class. For example, F class has a 1% chance, E has 3%, D has 15%, C has 40%, B has 65%, has 80%, S has 90%, while and SSS have 99 and 100% chance to awaken them, but he didn’t awaken any in all his three classes.

He wasn’t sad or anything, as he knew this was bound to happen.

Nonetheless, he was much stronger than most hunters who have awakened the skill as his stats had reached +3 Red stat spectrum, which only be attainable by with SS or SSS class at Lv.50. Classes S can achieve it within Lv.60-70.

Thus, he can now take down Lucas, who was at Lv.33 since he hadn’t raided the dungeon for almost four days because his two girls didn’t let him.

Another thing that happened while he was hunting was the increasing craze for the Prodigy hunter, who was hunting down massively. Many low-rank Necromancers were trying to imitate him to get into big guilds, as some global guilds were even trying to reach out to him.

But no was able to discover that lowly D rank Necromancer they were excluding every time was the one they were searching for.

Even if they tried to find him using appraisal, they would not be able see through him.

Now let’s focus on Evan’s growth as he rapidly ascended towards his goal.

His status changed completely as his stats and skills were off the chart. He also upgraded his armor and his Ember Fang to Erith rank items as his talent was causing issues with this equipment.

==================

The most significant changes in his stats were his abilities and skills.

His stats had reached the 3 stat Red, with two already on the verge of reaching the next realm of +4.

His elemental ability, which he initially did not use much, became something he began to utilize, as leaving behind an SSS rank grade ability was not wise.

However, despite grinding all day at home, in dungeons, or anywhere else, he was unable to increase it much higher.

His fire and earth elements were the only ones to reach E rank. On the fourth day, while trying out his spark skill from the mage class, he was able to understand and use the lightning element.

To even use the element, he had to try out his spark skill multiple times. After gaining insight into the lightning element, he was finally able to use it more frequently in battle. He could now cover his blade or arrow with it, easily giving his enemies a paralysis or shock effect.

His other elements were on different levels, as he could now manipulate and manifest them much more easily compared to when they were at F rank.

The equipment he received from the association was also much better than before, and with Darian’s help, he was able to get a discount on the items he traded with him.

His attitude towards Evan was quite positive, and perhaps he might get help dealing with some issues related to Lucas to the conflict between the two.

Pyre Requiem (New) → On defeating an enemy, the sword briefly erupts in flames, empowering the next strike with devastating explosive force.

=====

The new items he acquired included mage-type armor and a sword with a low flame element which was almost non-existent after the enchantment.

He spent a total of 800,000 for both, as the sword had a high price due to its elemental effect blade, while the armor was highly popular among mages and archers. Both items were quite suitable for him.

He even tore apart the chainmail from his previous armor, thinking it might be useful later, but it turned out to be waste material. He discarded it and sighed on his foolishness and greed in trying gain something valuable from the waste.

His skills, which were lacking before, had now improved significantly in rank due to constant practice, and he found that he could easily increase them now. Even the new skill he gained was able to increase very easily, as if some restriction had been lifted, as he grew stronger.
