I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

In the afternoon, Kabuto went to the remote river where he usually trained. Perhaps it was because he came early, but Itachi was not there yet.

Thus, Kabuto practiced by himself for a while and tried out the new Ninjutsu he had learned. He would catch Itachi by surprise with his new Ninjutsu for sure.

”Twin Release: Cold Wind Net!”

Kabuto first conjured a shadow clone. While the real Kabuto quickly made a series of hand seals for Water Dragon Bullet Technique, the shadow clone would make a series of hand seals to use Wind Release. The two Nature Types would merge and instantly formed a blue mist, which enveloped the opponent like a big net.

That day, he was inspired by the cold breeze of early spring, and thought of two combinations.

The first was to use the Wind Release as the star of the show and Water Release as the supporting cast. When the two were combined, it created a water vapor net with a very low temperature that covered a large area. Anyone that get hit would be frozen. That was the Cold Wind Net that he had just used.

The second was the other way around. He’d use the Wind Release to speed up Water Dragon Bullet Technique’s speed and strengthened its impact.

Among those two, Kabuto preferred the first one. He believed that Ninjutsu had a great potential.

Although the current actual power and practicality of the second type was higher than the first type, without the subsequent development space, the potential was not high.

”Twin Release: Water Dragon Bullet Boost Technique!”

Kabuto tried the second combination, and it made quite a noise this time.

With Wind Release’s help, Water Dragon Bullet Technique’s speed increased. Its kinetic energy increased, and the impact was also amplified.

After using this Ninjutsu, Kabuto exhaled slightly. It would be good if he could change his Earth Nature Type into Lightning.

It would make it easier for him to practice Ninjutsu combination, and at the same time, it’d make him significantly stronger.

The combination of Lightning and Water Ninjutsu was very straightforward, after all.

Lightning that was powerful but difficult to control was a perfect match with water that was easy to control but lacking in power.

Just as Kabuto was taking a rest, Itachi came.

Itachi was walking at normal speed, but after hearing the loud sound, he picked up his pace.

Itachi only saw Kabuto standing by the river with a crazy amount of water beside him. Itachi probably guessed what had just happened. It was just Kabuto practicing Ninjutsu.

”Kabuto.” Itachi greeted Kabuto and silently thought in his heart.

’It seems I can’t play with Sasuke too long from now on. I have to come earlier.

As an ambitious person, he could not spend too much time playing around.

”Itachi.” Kabuto nodded and smiled as he greeted Itachi.

”Were you practicing Ninjutsu just now?” Itachi asked as he walked over to Kabuto.

”Yes.” Kabuto nodded and said, ”That’s right. It was a combination Ninjutsu that I created under Sarutobi-sensei’s instructions not long ago.”

”Ninjutsu Combination.” Itachi looked at his Kabuto with a bit of curiosity. He had yet to learn such a technique.

”It’s the combination of two or more different Ninjutsu to create a stronger Ninjutsu. In that situation one plus one is no longer two, but higher.

”For example, you are good at Fire Release. If you can use Wind Release, you can increase the power of your Fire Release. That is Ninjutsu Combination.”

”I see.” Itachi nodded.

If he remembered correctly, he indeed had Wind Nature Type.

However, he hadn’t even fully mastered Rasengan that Nagasawa taught. The wind and fire combination would have to wait for the time being.

”However, Ninjutsu Combination has several requirements. For example, timing. If you’re not skilled enough, it will be very difficult to use it in an emergency situation.” Kabuto reminded after a while.

Ninjutsu Combination also had its pros and cons.

For example, the combination of fire and wind. Although the wind could increase the power of fire, it could also easily cause problems in the fire form. If you were not familiar with it, you might hurt yourself.

Moreover, the speed of forming hand seal also mattered. If you weren’t fast enough in forming hand seals, the opponent would’ve struck you down while you were busy forming hand seals.

”Actually, I also learned a new Ninjutsu. Do you want to see?” Said Itachi.

Although Itachi was very mature, he was not a real adult after all. After learning a very powerful Ninjutsu, he just had the urge to show off to his good friends.

”A new Ninjutsu?” Kabuto was a little curious. Considering Itachi’s personality it should not be an ordinary Ninjutsu.

Itachi reached out his hand, and a large amount of Chakra within his body erupted into a high-speed rotating Chakra ball in his hand.

Once Itachi had concentrated the rotating Chakra ball, he flashed and smashed it to a big tree. The powerful force instantly broke the big tree, and it fell to the ground.

Itachi panted slightly. For someone his age, Rasengan was quite draining although it was not the perfect Rasengan yet.

In his best form, he could use Rasengan four times, but in actual combat considering various factors, he could only use it two times at most.

”That Ninjutsu is very strong!” Kabuto praised.

”It doesn’t require hand seals, and it is very powerful. This Ninjutsu is really strong.”

”It’s alright. I heard the loud sound from your Ninjutsu practice earlier. It must be very powerful.” Itachi modestly said.

The two praised each other and suddenly looked at each other. They felt that what they did were a little funny, so they both laughed.

”Itachi, do you have anything you like?” After laughing, Kabuto asked Itachi.

”Something I like...” Itachi fell into deep thought, thought for a moment, and replied, ”I like peace. I like a world without war.”

Kabuto:...

Even if he was a newly graduated Genin, Kabuto knew how difficult it was to not have war.

He was just a Genin. He just wanted to give Itachi a gift. World peace was too difficult.

”You may have misunderstood what I mean. I’m not talking about a goal, but something you like. For example, what brand of ninja tools you like, or maybe a good sword or something.” Kabuto explained.

They could save the conversation about peace for the next ten years. The topic was Academy admission gift.

”Something I like...” Itachi once again fell into deep thought.

After asking this question, Itachi realized that he did not seem to have anything that he particularly liked.

He did not care about brands or ninja tools. As for swords, he had not practiced any sword technique, so he did not need them.

”There is nothing I particularly like,” Itachi replied honestly.

Kabuto was dejected. He thought that he should fight for the world peace right now.
