I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

The next day, Minato went to Nagasawa’s office after he finished dealing with the paperwork.

”What’s Mount Myoboku’s response?” Nagasawa asked directly.

”He didn’t refuse or agree. Fukasaku-sama said that he wanted to see you personally. Only then could he decide whether or not he would tell you the details about Sage Technique.” Minato replied.

”They want me to see them personally? That’s fine” Nagasawa nodded.

The Sages were keen. In his opinion, the Sages would be moved once they saw through his sun-like heart. Then, they would give him the information about Sage Mode.

He also ordered Shisui to ask Orochimaru and Tsunade about their respective Sage Regions.

Nagasawa felt that there might be some hope in Shikkotsu Forest. The slug Sage was so gentle and easy to talk to.

However, he didn’t really count on Ryūchi Cave. He simply asked Orochimaru on the off-chance that the Snake Sage agreed.

After all, all Three Sage Regions were shrouded in mysteries. Each of their Great Sage was an old monster that had lived for over a thousand years and could not be underestimated.

Nagasawa hoped that they wouldn’t mind negotiating with Nagasawa in exchange for information about Sage Technique. Nagasawa did not want to use violence if possible.

They were Sages who had lived for thousands of years. Who knew what kind of trump cards they had up their sleeves.

In addition to the Three Sage Regions, Nagasawa also had another place in mind, such as the Fire Temple.

In the anime, the head of the Fire Temple, Chiriku, once displayed the power of the ninja monk by using Welcoming Approach: Thousand Armed Murder, which looked quite strong.

However, in terms of actual combat, Chiriku fell short. Although he was at a disadvantage since he did not know that Kakuzu and Hidan were unkillable, Chiriku was clearly not that strong.

”By the way, you said that you would give me a surprise. It can’t be the Hokage Assistant’s personal Kunai, right? I don’t want it.” Minato teased.

Nagasawa smiled mysteriously and said, ”Don’t worry, it won’t be disappointing.”

After saying that, Nagasawa took a cup of water for Minato and handed it to him, ”Drink some water first. You’ll see the surprise right after.”

Minato took the water, and then took a sip. It was just ordinary water.

”Nagasawa, don’t tell me this water is...” Before Minato could finish his words, he suddenly felt weird. Minato stopped talking and focused on this instead.

He could sense the presence of Anbu in the village, and he could locate everyone outside.

Minato was certain that he didn’t try to sense other people’s Chakra just now. Moreover, it felt slightly different from sensing Chakra.

On top of that, when he focused his attention on Nagasawa, his mind would subconsciously predict Nagasawa’s next move.

Nagasawa, who had awakened Minato’s Haki potential, smiled and said, ”Did you feel it? That’s the surprise.”

Minato curiously looked at the cup again and took another sip. It was indeed an ordinary water.

”I feel it. How did you do this?” Minato could not help but ask curiously.

He entered the office. He had not done anything else other than drinking the water that Nagasawa gave him. How did such a change suddenly occur inside him?

And that water was indeed ordinary water. He had personally seen Nagasawa pick it up from the water dispenser.

How did Nagasawa suddenly enhance his perception? And it was different from ordinary perception.

When he concentrated his mind on Nagasawa, he could see Nagasawa’s next move albeit a little.

As a Shinobi, Minato felt that this ability might have a huge impact in battle.

”That is my secret.” Nagasawa smiled.

”Then forget it.” Seeing that Nagasawa didn’t say anything, Minato didn’t ask anymore. Nagasawa had many mysteries that he was too lazy to ask.

”That’s not all. Do you know Color of Arms Haki?”

”It’s the Secret Technique you teach Kakashi. I have seen Kakashi use it. It is indeed very strong and versatile.” Minato said as he nodded.

”The truth is, I just gave you the same thing, but you need to train to a certain extent to draw out its potential.” Nagasawa said as he handed Color of Arms Haki’s training method he had prepared in advance to Minato.

Unlike Kakashi, Minato was very strong, so when Minato awakened his Haki potential, he didn’t need to train as much as Kakashi did.

”Was my perception ability just now Color of Observation Haki? So this is Haki.” Minato said amusedly.

”How’s my surprise?” Nagasawa asked with a smile.

”It certainly surprised me.” Minato said seriously.

He planned to ask Nagasawa to treat him for a lunch instead of giving him something expensive.

Much to his surprise, Nagasawa gave him something even more precious.

Nagasawa gently smacked Minato on the shoulder and said,

”Use this as a chance to become stronger. The villagers begin saying that the Hokage Assistant is the strongest in Konoha, you know.”

”What can I say? I’m the one who recruited that Hokage Assistant, after all. This never happened during the Third Hokage’s era.” Minato said with a smile. He sounded proud on top of that.

Because Nagasawa was his best friend, and if he didn’t push him to become his assistant, Nagasawa might still be the ordinary Chunin.

”But you better don’t let your guard down, Nagasawa. Once I master perfect Sage Mode, I’ll get much stronger. I’d be careful if I were you.”

”Now that’s what I’m talking about.” Nagasawa said calmly.

If Minato wanted to defeat him, just the ordinary Sage Mode wouldn’t be enough.

Minato might be able to last longer if his Sage Mode reached Hashirama’s level, but he wouldn’t win.

Nagasawa did not think that he would lose to anyone else other than to the Six Paths-level Shinobi. He didn’t think he’d lose even to Hashirama or Ban during their prime.

When he got his own Sage Mode and combined it with Breathing Styles, how strong would his full power slash be?

Nagasawa now saw some merits to Challenge Missions.

Where would Nagasawa find a Six Paths-level opponent under normal circumstances?

If he failed the Challenge Mission, he just had to spend points to start over, so he could try out his moves without worry.

Nagasawa might as well call this Challenge Mission ”Anti-Otsutsuki Training”.

He’d use Kaguya Otsutsuki as a practice partner, so that he wouldn’t be too surprised when he encountered another Otsutsuki Clan.

A whole Clan of Six Paths-level combatants. That would certainly make anyone shudder!

”Can you meet Fukasaku-sama at three in the afternoon tomorrow? If you’re fine with it, I will tell Fukasaku-sama tonight ” Minato asked.

Nagasawa nodded and said, ”That will be no problem. I am free at that hour.”

He hoped that the Sage of Mount Myoboku would not disappoint him.
