I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”From now on, you are North.” Deva Path handed the ring to Kakuzu.

”You are the Jewel.” Then, Pain handed the ring to Musashi.

”Are these the only members of the organization?” Kakuzu said as he looked around.

In this huge base, there were only six people standing. It was abnormally empty.

No, there was another member who wasn’t even human. In addition to his face that was divided into black and white, he was also covered by a flytrap-like extension that emerged from his sides.

”That’s right! Our official members are all here. There are only six of them at the moment,” Pain replied indifferently.

”Creating a peaceful world with six people? You are really a crazy guy.” Kakuzu said in a low voice.

Even though he was experienced, he had to admit that Pain was one of the most crazy he had ever seen.

However, Pain was certainly the strongest among the crazy people Kakuzu had seen.

Pain took a careful look at Kakuzu. He was no longer the innocent youth he was back then.

He knew that the Shinobi he recruited weren’t the loyal ones as they were a group of S-rank Missing-Nin, he did not care. However, since they have joined Akatsuki, Pain explained his plan to them.

”Although we only have six members at the moment, we will keep recruiting until we have ten members.

”Those ten are the only official members. We do have other sub-members, but they are not qualified to enter this base.”

”So our organization has sub-members?” Musashi scratched his head and said.

He was the first person in this group to join Akatsuki, but he actually didn’t know.

”Of course you don’t know when you train all day.”

Konan’s cold voice entered Musashi’s ears.

Musashi could be considered a weirdo. He was forced to join Akatsuki, but he trained so seriously every day. The other Akatsuki members wouldn’t expect that Musashi was actually forced to join Akatsuki like them as he trained so hard every day.

Musashi took out his sword and carefully wiped it with a cloth. Taking care of their weapon was a must for a swordsman.

He was not here to work for Akatsuki, but he had to keep training every day.

”Kakuzu, aren’t you only interested in money.” Pain asked.

”Yes, I am indeed only interested in money. Why? Are you going to give me a large sum of money?” Kakuzu admitted directly.

”In the future, you will be Akatsuki’s Treasurer.” Pain immediately assigned Kakuzu as Akatsuki’s Treasurer.

Although he did not think that these members would wholeheartedly be loyal to Akatsuki, this was a necessary step.

In the early stage, he needed these people to help him collect all the Tailed-Beasts.

”Treasurer? It seems to be an interesting position.” Kakuzu became a little interested.

Ever since he defected from his village, he became a lone wolf.

It was not because he could not find a companion, but because Kakuzu no longer believed in companions.

If the village he trusted so much could betray him, what else could he believe in?

Therefore, Kakuzu’s way of earning money was usually through killing Shinobi, who had a bounty on their heads.

This was the first time he became a treasurer.

”As for Sasori, since you need Shinobi’s corpse to make puppets. We’ll hand over everyone we’ve killed to you from now on.” Pain said something that was difficult for Sasori to refuse.

”Your organization is really well-informed. I have to admit that this is indeed very good. I’m starting to look forward to living here.” Sasori chuckled.

Unlike other puppet masters, Musashi wanted to make a human puppet and had to use Shinobi’s corpse to make it.

Moreover, Akatsuki was an organization with many capable combatants, and their enemies should be fairly strong as well.

If their corpses were to be turned into puppets, Sasori believed that his skills would definitely improve greatly. At that time, he would be able to make better masterpiece.

”Hey, they all got something! What about me?”

Seeing that Pain appointed Kakuzu as the treasurer, while promising to give Sasori all the dead bodies, Musashi felt like he was being left out.

”You have a chance to taste the power of a god every month. Are you still not satisfied?” Pain asked.

Musashi:...

He did not know what to say for a moment.

It was as if saying getting beaten up by Pain every month was a merit.

”Hehe, aren’t you glad. Now, everyone’s happy.” Zetsu began to smile like he was asking for a beating.

”Are you a human? Or a Summon Beast? Or some sort of experiment’s byproduct?” Musashi curiously asked Zetsu.

He was quite curious about Zetsu as his appearance was clearly different from normal human.

”Your question is really rude. Of course, I am an artificial human.” Zetsu said annoyedly.

”An artificial human? I really want to study that body of yours,” Sasori said honestly.

He had always thought that eternity was the real art, so he kept exploring this path.

Although the idea of transforming himself into a puppet was very good, preserving his consciousness during the transformation process was a difficult problem to solve.

If his consciousness disappeared during the transformation process, it would naturally not be eternal. That was also not his art.

But this artificial human looked intelligent, so Sasori wanted to study it.

”He is definitely an important member of Akatsuki. His scouting ability is indispensable to the organization.” Pain said.

If he didn’t get between them, he was afraid that Sasori would really dissect him.

Although Zetsu was Madara Uchiha’s henchmen, his intel gathering ability was something that Akatsuki desperately needed at this stage.

”We’ll mainly focus on recruiting more members. I’ll tell you more about our future agenda once we finish recruiting.” Deva Path said to everyone.

”Since we have no agenda for now, I will excuse myself and see if Amegakure has any high-bounty Shinobi.”

Without a doubt, the one who said this was Kakuzu.

”Yes, I’ll contact you through the ring when we need to make a move.” Pain nodded expressionlessly.

An organization that could break the order of the Ninja Realm was about to evolve into its complete form.
