Return of the Antagonistic Lady Boss

Chapter 777: Chapter 751: Not Like Those Vixens Outside

Qian set up the aromatherapy, then sat in one of the bean bag chairs and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath of the essential oil’s fragrance.

”You’re too skinny, and your complexion is too pale. I suspect you’ve been using some hallucinogenic drugs to forget someone, yet your clear eyes tell me you can control their effects. As a doctor, I must advise you to quit. Imaginary people can never compare to real feelings.”

After listening to what Qian said, Song Qingwu gained more respect for this woman’s professionalism. Being able to see so much at a glance, she certainly has the clout to charge 50,000 for an hour.

”Sit down, let’s have a simple chat. To help me understand you better, please fill out some forms.”

”Just tell me what I need to do, no need to understand me.”

”In this room, I am the absolute ruler. Just follow my instructions and don’t share your thoughts with me, because I’m your psychologist, got it?”

”Aren’t you afraid I might kill you right now?” Song Qingwu pulled a weapon from his pocket, and Qian acted as if she hadn’t seen it.

”You can go ahead, but then be prepared for that skewer vendor outside to grab you first, slice you up like a lamb kebab, and then keep you alive just long enough to see how he annihilates your entire family. Really, my Xiaoqiang is not only skilled at making skewers but also at these kinds of activities.”

Song Qingwu secretly decided that after the consultation, he would blow up this place, taking this annoying psychologist and that master skewer maker with it!

For now, he could only grit his teeth and sit in the bean bag chair he despised, to hear what this woman had to say.

Little did Song Qingwu know, by sitting on this chair, he was already a fat sheep in Qian’s eyes, ripe with money.

So, Qian flashed a smile akin to the skewer vendor outside, thinking, ”Fat sheep, oh fat sheep, I’m about to start!”

”First, let’s do a simple test. Please complete these questionnaires in five minutes, just answer truthfully without thinking.”

Song Qingwu glanced at the densely packed questions, some about his favorite color or style of music, and others quite abstract, like whether you see a witch or a princess after opening a castle door. They all had one thing in common—

”What’s the purpose of this test?”

Song Qingwu confirmed he’d never seen these, and many didn’t seem like standard questionnaires.

”You don’t need to know, just answer them.” Inside, Qian’s inner persona laughed arrogantly. How could Chen Xiaoqian’s questionnaires be like those promiscuous people outside?

Knowing this guy was highly intelligent and must have seen a lot of questions before, she crafted a unique set just for him.

”I won’t do anything without knowing its purpose.”

”This tests your compatibility with Ju Hua Mai.”

Qian saw him begin to write furiously and smirked internally. He truly didn’t hide his intentions; a determined top who doesn’t obsess over his sub isn’t a good top.

In reality, it was a test to determine S or M tendencies.

Sadomasochism’s abbreviation stands for sadism and masochism enthusiasts. S is for sadist, and M is for masochist. According to clinical psychology diagnostic criteria, serious cases of sadism or masochism can be categorized as sexual deviance disorder, although strict criteria apply.

Previously, Qian had tested Ju Hua Mai. He was borderline pathological but just shy. Now it depended on Song Qingwu’s result—if he was normal or showed M tendencies himself, it was over.

”Why do you call him Ju Hua Mai?” Song Qingwu asked while answering questions.

”It’s a hospitality custom here,” Qian lied with open eyes.

Song Qingwu looked up at Qian, who shrugged.

”You’re overthinking it. I don’t have any designs on him. You’ve seen how outstanding my man is. Keep Ju Hua Mai for your own enjoyment.”

”I don’t see what’s so great about that man outside. He’s inconsistent.”

Song Qingwu objectively evaluated Yu Minglang.

Qian nodded, ”Indeed, a genius with an extraordinary IQ, able to see the essence through the phenomenon. Deep down, that man has a slight S tendency.”

That’s something Qian would never tell Yu Minglang.

”He’s a man with a strong sense of possession, really can’t understand how he’s willing to pretend to be gentle with you.” After one interaction with Yu Minglang, Song Qingwu already saw him as a formidable character.

If this person weren’t staying domestically, he would do well in their profession, having an innate ferocity.

Oddly enough, he’s exceptionally tender towards this psychologist, making it difficult for Song Qingwu to comprehend.

”His gentleness is genuine, and his S tendencies are real too—they’re just displayed differently depending on the context. He’s a man who differentiates between public and private matters.”

He’s also someone who separates what occurs in bed and off bed, Qian added in her mind.

”Why do you keep stressing the S part?” Song Qingwu handed the completed questionnaires to Qian, who quickly glanced over them, then gave a mysterious smile.

”Because you, like the skewer man outside, have a hidden sadistic trait.”

”...Are you saying I like inflicting pain?” Song Qingwu looked like he had just heard a fairy tale.

”Yes, congratulations.”

”Are you sure you want to congratulate someone for being abnormal?”

This expensive psychologist, this is the level she’s at?

”Many people don’t understand why pain and pleasure, two extremes, are linked in SM. There’s even academic debate about it. Personally, I oppose seeing this as a pathological process. Most patients I’ve dealt with don’t reach the pathological stage. At most, SM is just a leisure activity in their spare time.”

”You really don’t seem like a psychologist.”

”Academics is full of debate and exploration. From the moment psychology was born, the major schools have been at odds—there’s no unified view. Your current state doesn’t reach pathological, you’re just a slightly sadistic dom. In the anime world, this could be seen as quite adorable.”

The things young people like are truly unpredictable.

”What was the purpose of giving me this test?”

”To help you achieve what you want. You’re just a step away from winning Ju Hua Mai. I can tell you how to take that step, but it depends on what you’re willing to pay for it.”

Song Qingwu fell silent, took out a check and wrote a number on it, then handed it to Qian. Qian glanced at it but didn’t take it.

”I charge in US Dollars.”

Without a word, Song Qingwu was about to write again when Qian stopped him.

”This time, I won’t take US Dollars from you; RMB is fine.”

For some reason, despite seeing the supposedly merciless Qian offering a discount, Song Qingwu didn’t feel delighted but rather had a sense of foreboding.

”What’s your real motive?”
