After Gender Transformation, I Was Adjusted by the System into the Demon Queen’s Strongest Maid

“Very good.”

Only then did Lilia’s stiff body finally relax. She nearly collapsed onto the chair.

Hera returned to her seat.

Lilia didn’t dare to look up.

The Queen’s Handwriting (Imitation) state was still active—she had to seize the time.

Lilia picked up the quill again. The tip glided across the papyrus, flowing like a dragon in motion. Her hand was unbelievably steady now. Every character of the Demon Realm script carried Hera’s distinctive sharpness and elegance, brimming with edge. It was nothing short of a calligraphy master’s work.

Her 【Executor of Order】 title, 【Administrative Maid】 talent, and temporary 【Queen’s Handwriting (Imitation)】 state stacked together, pushing her mind to operate at an unprecedented speed.

These mountain-like piles of documents, though now formatted and clearer, had not resolved their fundamental issues.

A large number of resource requests were vague and crude, military reports were lengthy and repetitive, and personnel transfers were riddled with personal bias…

She came across a military report from the Abyss border, describing anomalies in a beast tide. Instantly, her mind retrieved several supply requests from border fortresses she had just processed.

Comparing the two sets of information, contradictions immediately surfaced.

The report claimed sufficient troops and high morale. Yet the supply request made excessive demands, asking for additional Magic Crystals and healing potions. What did that imply?

Either the report was falsified, or the request was inflated.

Either way, it meant a loophole.

Lilia’s gaze subconsciously drifted toward Hera. Her expression was indifferent, her fingers lightly tapping the armrest.

The matters she handled every day were far more than just these documents.

If every single document required the Queen to personally dig out the truth hidden beneath the words, wouldn’t that be exhausting to the point of death?

Lilia felt a wave of irritation.

This irritation wasn’t directed at herself—but at Hera.

It was a strange feeling.

Just earlier, she had only been thinking about slacking off, staying alive, and finishing tasks quickly.

Now, she was actively considering how to optimize Hera’s administrative system.

Was it for the mission reward?

Or was it the ever-rising Loyalty and Feminization Index subtly influencing her?

She only knew that one thought was becoming clearer and clearer in her mind.

Simply standardizing document formats was far from enough.

There also needed to be… a supervisor.

That thought made Lilia’s pen pause.

For Her Majesty the Queen!

She raised her head and looked at Hera.

“Your Majesty.” Her voice was dry, carrying a faint, almost imperceptible tremble.

Hera’s gaze swept over her indifferently.

“Lilia.” The Queen’s tone was calm and emotionless.

“Your Majesty… while organizing these scrolls, I discovered some… minor issues.” Lilia carefully chose her words, not daring to make the slightest mistake.

Hera didn’t respond, merely listening quietly.

“Although there are now standardized formats… issues in content—such as omissions, ambiguity, and even… redundant requests—still remain,” Lilia stated her observations.

“These force Your Majesty, during review, to spend more of your precious attention distinguishing truth from falsehood, and investigating the causes.”

She looked up at Hera. The Queen’s expression remained unchanged.

“So, I dare to make a suggestion…” Lilia gritted her teeth and made up her mind. “The Palace of Eternal Night needs… a dedicated department responsible for content auditing of documents, or… a supervisor.”

“Before documents are presented to Your Majesty’s desk, every file must not only meet formatting standards but also contain complete and accurate information.”

“Only then can Your Majesty’s burden truly be reduced and administrative efficiency improved.” Lilia finished in one breath, her breathing quickened.

The study fell into silence. Only the faint rustling of papyrus and the pounding of Lilia’s heart remained.

Hera finally moved.

She leaned forward slightly, her golden eyes locking directly onto Lilia.

“You want to be this supervisor?” Hera asked, her voice devoid of emotion.

Lilia’s heart shrank violently.

She was already exhausted! Overwork death warning! She didn’t want to pile more onto herself!

But she couldn’t refuse outright. That would expose her lack of sincerity and displease Hera.

Her mind raced, but her mouth moved even faster.

“No!” she blurted out, then immediately corrected herself. “I—I am responsible for serving my master.”

Hera continued to look at her. That gaze carried immense pressure. Lilia needed a perfect reason—a reason Hera could not reject.

“But if such a role truly requires someone… someone with absolute authority and a deep understanding of your will…” A face flashed through Lilia’s mind.

Succubus Duke Camilla!

This woman had both power and an extreme possessiveness and loyalty toward Hera. Most importantly, she didn’t get along with Lilia!

“I—I suddenly thought of a suitable candidate.” Lilia’s voice grew softer, almost like she was muttering to herself. “Duke… Camilla.”

She looked up cautiously, observing Hera’s reaction.

“She is very familiar with the affairs of the Palace of Eternal Night and is… utterly loyal to you,” Lilia tried to make her tone sound sincere.

“You mean she could take on this supervisory role?” Hera’s voice held neither praise nor criticism.

“You’ve proposed a good idea.” Hera turned her gaze slightly. “This would indeed share part of my responsibilities and improve the efficiency of the Palace of Eternal Night.”

Lilia let out a breath of relief. At least her suggestion had been accepted.

“However…” Hera’s voice sounded again, with that drawn-out tone Lilia found all too familiar—one that signaled trouble. “Camilla is impulsive and may sometimes overlook details.”

“Since you proposed this department, it is only natural that you take responsibility for it.” Hera’s words struck Lilia like a bolt of lightning.

“N—No… Your Majesty!” Lilia cried out reflexively, nearly jumping up. “I… I’m just a maid! I only know how to cook, give massages, and clean rooms…” She tried to distance herself, her voice filled with panic.

“Ding!”
