After Gender Transformation, I Was Adjusted by the System into the Demon Queen’s Strongest Maid

Wearing those shameful clothes.

Lilia did not even know how she had been “escorted” out.

She only remembered two female guards, who seemed like succubi, “supporting” her from both sides. But rather than supporting, it was more like they were carrying her.

Caught between them, Lilia felt like a chick that could be crushed at any moment.

Passing through the deep and lengthy corridor, two obsidian doors carved with ferocious demon god reliefs slowly opened.

Behind the doors was not the gloomy lair she had imagined, but a space so luxurious it was suffocating.

The dome was so high its top could not be seen. Countless crystals emitting a soft glow floated in the air, like imprisoned stars.

The ground was polished from a single complete slab of obsidian, so smooth it could clearly reflect her figure.

The air was filled with a cool, sandalwood-like fragrance.

This place was too large.

So large that it felt empty.

So large that it made her feel as insignificant as a speck of dust.

So large that even breathing produced echoes.

Hera was already there.

She stood before a massive floor-to-ceiling window. Outside lay the Abyss Demon Realm’s eternal blood-red sky. Beneath the rolling dark clouds stretched endless black mountain ranges.

Her back was aloof and cold, as though it had merged with the loneliness of the entire world.

“From today onward, this place will be cleaned by you.”

Hera did not turn around. Her voice passed through the vast bedchamber, carrying an unquestionable command.

“Y-yes… Master.”

Lilia stammered in response. That form of address still made her whole body uncomfortable.

At the moment her voice fell, that familiar mechanical sound rang out again.

【Daily Mission Issuance: Clean the Demon Queen’s bedchamber until it is spotless.】

【Time Limit: Three hours.】

【Mission Reward: E-Rank Cleaning Magic · Dust Purification.】

【Mission Failure Penalty: Endure the Demon Queen Hera’s “Whip of Purity” ten times.】

Lilia’s eyes instantly lit up.

Magic!

Dust Purification!

This was magic!

The benefits of a transmigrator’s cheat had finally begun to be distributed!

As for that failure penalty… “Whip of Purity”? It did not sound like anything good. She subconsciously shivered.

But it did not matter. Wasn’t it just cleaning?

For the reward, for magic, she would give it her all!

However, when she looked around with full enthusiasm, she froze completely.

Clean?

Clean what the hell?!

This floor was cleaner than her face had ever been before transmigrating!

Aside from that faint cool fragrance, there was not even the slightest trace of dust in the air.

Every piece of furniture was arranged perfectly—the black bookshelves, the dark-gold tables and chairs—without even a fingerprint on them.

Where the hell did this place need cleaning?!

Lilia finally understood why Hera had wanted to “dispose of” her just because she was dirty.

This Demon Queen was a mysophobic, severe obsessive-compulsive patient!

In her standards, “clean” and “spotless” were probably two completely different concepts!

What should she do?

She did not even need to think with her toes to know that handing in a blank result would end terribly.

Right!

【Absolute Senses】!

A thought flashed through Lilia’s mind as she immediately focused her spirit.

In the next second, the world in her eyes changed once again.

The entire bedchamber became a three-dimensional structure composed of countless details within her perception.

She “saw” that at the very top of the ten-meter-tall bookshelf, within the grain’s crevices, there was a layer of dust so fine it could not be detected by the naked eye.

She “heard” that deep within the massive bed, in the shadowed corner, a tiny Abyss spider was spinning its web. Even the vibration frequency of the silk threads was crystal clear.

She even “smelled” that within the folds of the curtains, due to sluggish magic flow, there was an extremely faint “stale” scent.

Lilia sucked in a cold breath.

This requirement was way too insane!

Dust at this level was not something a normal being could even detect!

But the System’s mission hung there plainly, leaving her no room to argue.

Soon, a silent maid delivered cleaning tools.

It was a feather duster made from the bright silver feathers of some unknown magical beast. The handle was longer than her arm, and when stood upright, it was taller than she was.

There was also a pure obsidian bucket filled with a clear liquid that emitted a chilling aura.

Lilia struggled to lift the feather duster, feeling like she was not cleaning, but practicing with a polearm.

In her previous life, she had at least been a skilled sanda fighter who graduated from a sports academy, with a body full of muscle. Now, with this weak girl’s body, she could not even properly handle a cleaning tool.

The intense contrast made her internally rant like crazy.

“Start with the hardest.”

She set her sights on that towering bookshelf.

Dragging over a similarly heavy stool, she shakily climbed onto it, standing on tiptoe to barely reach the top.

She carefully waved the feather duster, locking onto those fine particles with 【Absolute Senses】 and striking them precisely.

The process was both comical and clumsy.

More than once, she nearly fell off the stool due to her lack of coordination, drawing a faint scoff from a maid watching in the distance.

After finally cleaning the bookshelf, Lilia was already covered in a thin layer of sweat.

She caught her breath and turned her gaze to the next target—a display rack filled with all sorts of rare treasures.

The items on the rack were bizarre and varied.

There was a skull burning with deep-blue flames, a crystal ball sealing a miniature nebula, and metallic constructs constantly shifting in form.

Lilia did not dare to be careless. She knew any one of these things was more valuable than her life.

She picked up a soft black cloth, dipped it into the liquid in the bucket, and began wiping carefully.

The rack was not very tall, but the top layer still required her to stand on tiptoe.

Just as she was wiping a strangely shaped, radiant crystal bottle, the obsidian floor beneath her became slightly slippery from a drop of liquid that had splashed earlier.

Her foot slipped.

Her body instantly lost balance.

“Ah!”

Lilia let out a short cry, instinctively reaching out to steady herself on the rack.

However, her hand struck the crystal bottle heavily.

The bottle wobbled on the rack, tilted, then fell toward the ground.

Time seemed to slow down at that moment.

Lilia’s pupils shrank as she watched helplessly while the bottle traced a hopeless arc through the air.

She wanted to catch it, but her body’s reaction could not keep up with her thoughts at all.

“Crash!”

A crisp sound, like a heart shattering, rang abruptly through the hall.

The radiant crystal bottle smashed onto the hard obsidian floor, shattering into pieces.

The multicolored light that had been swirling inside it instantly dispersed into the air, turning into tiny points of fluorescence before completely vanishing.

The entire bedchamber fell into a deathly silence.

Lilia stood frozen in place, as though all the blood in her body had been frozen solid.

She could clearly sense that not far behind her, that originally calm, deep-sea-like magic aura had begun to violently fluctuate.

An ice-cold killing intent locked onto her.
