Incredible Insight: Toy Factory Discovers Swarm Drones

Chapter 249 The Fist of Open SchemeThe comrade from the Special Front standing opposite him, watching the complex expression on Minister Wang’s face shift from shock to anger and then to existential doubt, finally realized where the problem lay.

He had seemingly taken his own straightforward statement of ”We haven’t done any work” as purely ”slacking off” or ”inaction.”

”It seems... my way of expressing it was too direct, causing a misunderstanding.”

The comrade from the Special Front thought silently to himself.

Seeing the look in Minister Wang’s eyes that seemed ready to spit fire, he stopped playing coy—though, in reality, he hadn’t been playing coy at all. He simply cleared his throat and spoke in a tone of stating facts:

”Minister Wang, please don’t get excited just yet.”

”Simply put, we have our own Starlink.”

This sentence made Minister Wang’s head buzz, and his mind went instantly blank.

He was stunned on the spot, his eyes wide open, his face full of disbelief.

”What?”

”We have our own Starlink?”

”When did this happen? How come I didn’t know?”

”No, you said ’simply put,’ but that was a bit too simple, wasn’t it?” Minister Wang said. ”Give me the details.”

Being that simple was liable to give someone a fright.

Upon hearing this, the Special Front operative continued his account.

”Alright, I’ll explain in more detail. The birth process of this Starlink system is, to put it mildly... convoluted.”

A strange smile appeared on the intelligence officer’s face—the kind of expression where one wants to laugh but has to hold it in.

”It was independently researched, developed, and deployed by a private enterprise in our country called ’Li Family Toy Factory’.”

”And the launch method they used was, well... even more creative.”

”Through commercial cooperation, they disguised micro-satellites as parts and hid them inside a batch of ’toy sky rocket’ semi-finished products exported to Curry Country.”

”Then, they utilized that rocket launch failure in Curry Country that shocked the world...”

”Using that massive mid-air explosion as the power source, they precisely scattered those ten thousand-plus micro-satellites into their predetermined orbits and automatically completed the networking.”

Hearing this, Minister Wang was completely dumbfounded.

He hung his mouth open, staring blankly at the young man in front of him, feeling that what he had just heard was too bizarre.

A toy factory?

Borrowing Curry Country’s rocket launch?

And using an explosion to deploy?

This... is this really an operation that a carbon-based lifeform could come up with?

The intelligence officer ignored Minister Wang’s petrified expression and continued:

”Currently, we have signed an agreement with the factory’s person in charge, Comrade Li Jiajun, and obtained the complete technical data for this Starlink system. The relevant materials have also been handed over to the Dongwei Group.”

”And it is precisely because we have this trump card in our hands that we have devised an ’open conspiracy’ plan targeting Ugly Country’s ’space unclaimed status’ proposal.”

”The core of the plan is very simple.”

”That is, at the United Nations meeting, not only will we not withdraw our opposition to the proposal, but we will act more intensely than anyone else, opposing it at the top of our lungs!”

”We want the whole world to see that we, Eastern Country, have been backed into a corner by Ugly Country’s hegemony and have stood up to fight in order to uphold fairness and justice.”

”Then, after a ’bitter and arduous’ struggle, we will be ’forced’ to fail, allowing Ugly Country’s proposal to pass smoothly.”

”In this way...”

The intelligence officer looked at Minister Wang and said, enunciating every word:

”The hegemonic rule that the people of Ugly Country went to such great lengths to establish—’whoever occupies the orbit first is in the right’—will become the most solid ’legitimacy’ shield for our ten thousand-plus satellites!”

...

After the intelligence officer laid out all the information, the entire safe house was silent for a long time.

Only the sound of rushing water in the bathroom remained, reminding one of the passage of time.

Minister Wang listened, dumbfounded, his whole person stunned.

He felt as if his brain had been washed blank by this overwhelming amount of information.

He needed time.

He needed a little time to digest all of this.

He didn’t know how much time had passed before Minister Wang slowly came back to his senses.

He looked at the calm-faced young man in front of him, feeling that the amount of information was too great; he had to grasp the most core point.

He reached out, took a deep breath, his voice filled with irrepressible excitement:

”You... you’ve rattled on about so much, I just want to ask you one thing.”

He had asked him for details, and he had actually revealed such a massive amount of information.

Minister Wang stared intently into the other person’s eyes, confirming word by word:

”Do you mean... we already have our own Starlink? And there are ten thousand and thirty-six of them?”

The comrade from the Special Front looked at Minister Wang and nodded solemnly.

”Yes, Minister Wang.”

Having received an affirmative answer, Minister Wang still couldn’t believe it.

This surprise was too big, so big that it felt unreal to him.

He felt his heart pounding wildly, his palms sweating.

”No... no, wait, let me sort this out...”

Minister Wang waved his hand, as if talking to himself, and also as if confirming with the other person, starting to repeat the key information he had just heard word by word.

”You mean... it was... a toy factory on our side, that... Factory Director Li, who made it?”

”Yes, Minister Wang.” The comrade nodded again, his expression unchanged.

”And then... he hid the satellites in the rocket casings sold to the Curry people, let the Curry people help him transport them up for free, and in the end, relied on that explosion caused by the Curry people to scatter the satellites?”

”Yes, Minister Wang. The execution process of the plan was basically like that.”

”And... this Starlink system is now in that golden orbit snatched up by the Ugly Country people, and it has successfully networked and is operating?”

”Yes, Minister Wang. According to the data we have monitored, the network coverage and signal strength are both very ideal.”

”So... we are actually holding a trump card in our hands that can directly checkmate the Ugly Country people?”

”You can understand it that way, Minister Wang.”

...

Every time Minister Wang confirmed a detail, his shock deepened by another degree.

He went over it back and forth several times, asking about every detail clearly, for fear of mishearing a single word.

Seeing that Minister Wang seemed to want to continue sorting things out, the comrade from the Special Front, who had maintained his professional demeanor, finally couldn’t help it.

The corners of his mouth turned up slightly, revealing a rare, slightly teasing smile, and he joked:

”Minister Wang, it means exactly what you understand it to mean.”

”If you keep sorting it out, the readers will think we’re just padding the word count.”

This sudden retort left Minister Wang stunned on the spot.

Readers?

Padding the word count?

What on earth is all this?

He stared blankly at the young man in front of him, stunned for a few seconds.

Immediately, he finally came back to his senses and realized that the other person was joking with him.

”Hahaha... Hahaha!”

Minister Wang couldn’t help but laugh, the laughter filled with relief.

He laughed and pointed his finger at the other person in the air:

”You rascal, you must have been reading a lot of web novels lately, right? Making fun of me for padding the word count?”

This joke also allowed Minister Wang’s nerves, which had been tense from extreme shock, to completely relax.

He let out a long sigh of relief, feeling full of strength throughout his body.

The gloom and despair that had previously weighed on his heart were swept away at this moment, replaced by unprecedented excitement and high fighting spirit.

After calming down, the smile on Minister Wang’s face gradually faded, and his eyes became sharp.

After pondering for a few seconds, he said to the comrade:

”Tell me about that open conspiracy you mentioned just now one more time.”

”I think... it’s quite interesting!”

The intelligence officer immediately repeated the ”open conspiracy” plan of ”feigning intense opposition while actually using the opponent’s strength against them” in detail once more.

After hearing the retelling of the open conspiracy, an unprecedented light burst forth in Minister Wang’s eyes.

He slammed the table, the sound appearing exceptionally loud in the small safe house.

”Good!”

”What a good open conspiracy!”

”Let’s do it!”

Minister Wang clenched his fist tightly, a look of extreme excitement on his face, and said decisively:

”At the formal seminar meeting two days from now, let Ugly Country take a hit from our Fist of the Open Conspiracy!”
