Incredible Insight: Toy Factory Discovers Swarm Drones

Chapter 224 Curry to Sue the Militia General?”Science can govern other countries, but it absolutely cannot govern Curry!”

...

With the appearance of this legendary comment, the online carnival gradually drew to a close.

From the perspective of various relevant departments in Eastern Country, since Curry Country’s launch failed, it meant that the so-called ”curry speed” was nothing more than a joke. The threat was lifted, and naturally, future matters would have nothing to do with them.

Liu Jianguo and the other military industry bigwigs also breathed a sigh of relief, each returning to their own affairs.

However.

The tree wants to be still, but the wind does not stop.

Just over ten days after the failed launch, when the whole world was about to completely forget this farce as just post-meal gossip.

A jaw-dropping piece of news, enough to shock everyone’s worldview, suddenly arrived from across the ocean.

The relevant departments of Curry Country officially filed a lawsuit with the International Trade Arbitration Court!

The absurdity of the reasoning and the toughness of the attitude were simply unheard of.

The complaint stated: Products exported by a certain enterprise in Eastern Country had serious and fatal quality defects, which directly led to the occurrence of a major aerospace accident in Curry Country, causing massive losses of billions of dollars and seriously hurting the feelings of the Curry people.

To this end, they demanded that the defendant, as well as the Ministry of Commerce of Eastern Country and other relevant regulatory units, provide massive compensation and make a public apology!

When the news reached home, those in the Imperial Capital were somewhat bewildered.

This was simply a case of sitting at home and having a disaster fall from the sky!

I’ve seen people staging accidents for blackmail, but I’ve never seen anyone do it like this!

...

Imperial Capital, General Armament Department.

An emergency meeting was being held in Conference Room No. 1.

The level of this meeting was extremely high. Besides military representatives, relevant leaders from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce were also present.

The air was filled with a serious yet somewhat nonsensical atmosphere.

As a representative figure of the military industry system, Liu Jianguo naturally received the notice as well.

However, as he walked into the conference room, his mindset was quite relaxed; one could even say he came with the attitude of a ”spectator.”

He was still clutching that familiar bottle of quick-acting heart-saving pills, but this was purely out of professional habit.

’What does this have to do with me?’

Liu Jianguo sat in his seat, slowly unscrewed his thermos, blew on the tea leaves floating on the surface, and felt incredibly calm.

’This is just a typical international trade dispute.’

’Probably some unlucky export company being blackmailed by those Curry Sticks.’

’This kind of thing is managed by the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As someone in the military industry, I’m purely here to just pass through and make up the numbers.’

He even observed the expression of the leader from the Ministry of Commerce opposite him with interest. Seeing the other’s expression, which looked like he had swallowed a fly, he silently expressed his sympathy.

Dealing with Curry people truly shortens one’s lifespan.

”Ahem.”

The Old General presiding over the meeting cleared his throat, and the conference room instantly fell silent.

”Comrades, everyone should have heard about the situation.”

The Old General’s face was as calm as water, but his eyes betrayed an irrepressible anger:

”Curry Country is making a false accusation and shifting the blame! Their own rocket exploded, and now they’re pushing all the responsibility onto one of our private enterprises!”

”This is a serious slander against the reputation of ’Made in Eastern Country’!”

”Next, I ask the comrade from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to read out the contents of the Curry side’s complaint.”

A person in charge from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stood up, holding a thick document.

Liu Jianguo took a sip of tea, shifted to a more comfortable sitting position, and prepared to hear what kind of stories these Curry people had cooked up.

”According to the copy of the complaint forwarded by the International Trade Arbitration Court.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs official’s voice was steady, but there was a chill between the lines:

”Plaintiff: Curry Country Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and its subordinate commercial departments.”

”Defendant One: Ministry of Commerce of Eastern Country.”

”Defendant Two: Eastern Country...”

Reading to this point, the official paused, a hint of strangeness flashing in his eyes.

Then, he clearly read out that name:

”Defendant Two: Baishui City, Eastern Country—Li Family Toy Factory!”

Pfft—!

The moment those words landed.

An extremely discordant sound of spraying water suddenly exploded in the serious conference room.

Liu Jianguo, who was about to swallow a mouthful of tea, shuddered as if he had been struck by lightning.

That mouthful of scalding tea turned into a mist, spraying directly onto the table in front of him and even splashing onto the notebook of the Ministry of Commerce leader opposite him.

”Cough, cough, cough! Cough, cough, cough!”

Liu Jianguo didn’t have time to wipe the tea stains from the corner of his mouth, nor did he care about his loss of composure.

He stood up abruptly, his chair making a harsh ”screech” against the floor.

His eyes bulged wider than copper bells as he stared fixedly at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs official, his voice changing pitch, filled with extreme disbelief and horror:

”Wait...”

”Who did you say they are suing?!”

”Little Li?! Li Jiajun?!”

At this moment, Liu Jianguo felt his head buzzing, and his heart seemed to skip a beat.

He subconsciously reached into his pocket for the quick-acting heart-saving pills.

That familiar name—the one that had brought him both joy and sorrow over the past few months and caused him to lose handfuls of hair—was like a curse, once again striking his eardrums without warning.

The eyes of everyone in the conference room instantly focused on Liu Jianguo.

Seeing this military industry bigwig, who was usually as steady as Mount Tai, lose his composure so completely, everyone’s expressions became somewhat subtle.

After all, the name ”Li Family Toy Factory” was well-known to everyone present, especially those from the military.

That was the headquarters of the ”Militia General,” the birthplace of various black technologies, and the source of Old Liu’s heartache.

”That’s right, Minister Liu.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs official nodded and confirmed again:

”The complaint states it very clearly. The defendant is the Baishui City Li Family Toy Factory, and the legal representative is Li Jiajun.”

Hearing the definitive answer, Liu Jianguo slumped back into his chair in a daze.

He felt speechless, the corners of his mouth twitching uncontrollably.

’Why is it him again?’

’Why is it always him?’

’Hasn’t this kid settled down? How did he get involved with Curry Country’s rocket explosion in the blink of an eye?’

’And he’s even been sued in international court?’

This leap is just too huge!

”What on earth is going on?”

The Old General tapped the table and looked at a uniformed official from the National Security department nearby:

”Has your side investigated this clearly? What exactly did this Li Family Toy Factory sell to Curry Country?”

”Reporting to the Chief, the investigation is complete.”

The National Security official stood up and turned on the projector beside him.

A detailed investigation report appeared on the large screen.

”The cause of the matter dates back to a month ago.”

The National Security official pointed to a photo on the screen, which was Rajesh’s ID photo:

”This person is named Rajesh, the head of the Rocket and Aviation Department of Curry Country’s ISRO.”

”A month ago, he followed Li Jiajun’s livestream room through an online livestreaming platform, TikTok.”

”Subsequently, he disguised himself as an ordinary fireworks enthusiast with the ID ’a curry person who loves to free ride’.”

”Under the guise of purchasing sky rockets, he ordered a batch of products called ’toy sky rockets’ from the Li Family Toy Factory.”

At this point, the National Security official’s expression became somewhat strange, as if he were suppressing a laugh:

”According to our investigation, this batch of so-called ’toy sky rockets’ actually possessed the prototype technical parameters of miniature launch vehicles.”

”Rajesh ordered a thousand units at a price of fifty thousand RMB each.”

”But!”

The National Security official emphasized his tone, revealing the key point that left everyone stunned:

”This Rajesh only paid a fifty percent deposit, which is twenty-five million RMB.”

”After receiving the goods, he immediately cut off all contact with Li Jiajun, deleted his account, and did not pay the remaining balance.”

”In other words, they attempted to partially free-ride on this shipment.”

”Subsequently, ISRO dismantled and mapped these toys, attempting to scale up the technology proportionally to apply it to their polar satellite launch vehicle plus edition version.”

”The results are plain for all to see. Because they hadn’t mastered the technology, or perhaps because the goods Li Jiajun sent were specially made, the rocket lost control of its attitude after liftoff and disintegrated in mid-air.”

The National Security official closed the folder and gave his final summary:

”This is the whole story of the cause and effect.”

”Because of the launch failure, Curry Country not only lost a satellite but also lost face.”

”Consequently, they flew into a rage and decided to bite back, accusing the Li Family Toy Factory’s products of having quality defects and demanding compensation.”

After listening to this report.

The entire conference room fell into a brief, deathly silence.

Immediately following.

”Pfft—”

Someone couldn’t hold it in first.

Then, waves of irrepressible laughter rose one after another in the serious conference room.

Everyone laughed out of anger.

They were truly laughed out of anger.

What kind of god-tier plot is this?

A national aerospace agency disguising itself as a Netizen to buy someone’s toys?

Buying them to use as rockets?

Paying only the deposit and not the balance?

And in the end, having no skill and blowing up their own rocket, they have the nerve to go to international court and sue a toy seller for poor quality?

This move simply pushes the words ”shameless” and ”absurd” to their absolute limits!

”Ridiculous! Simply utterly ridiculous!”

The leader from the Ministry of Commerce was laughing while slapping the table, tears nearly coming out:

”I’ve handled foreign trade for so many years, and this is the first time I’ve seen such a shameless customer!”

”Buying a sky rocket to launch a satellite? I can’t believe they came up with that!”

And at this moment.

Liu Jianguo, sitting in his chair, was completely dumbfounded.

Clutching the quick-acting heart-saving pills, he listened to the discussions of his colleagues, and Li Jiajun’s harmless face appeared in his mind.

’toy sky rockets...’

’Only paying the deposit...’

’Blowing up Curry Country’s rocket...’

Liu Jianguo took a deep breath, feeling his blood pressure skyrocketing.

He remembered that a while ago, that kid Li Jiajun had suddenly quieted down.

He didn’t even call him anymore.

At the time, he thought the kid had changed his ways, was feeling discouraged, and was reflecting on himself.

He even felt relieved, thinking that even without his guidance, the kid hadn’t caused any more trouble and had truly become sensible.

’Sensible my foot!’

This thought surfaced in Liu Jianguo’s mind, and he wished he could slap himself.

He should have realized it sooner!

For a gifted brat like Li Jiajun, silence was definitely not a good thing.

Once a brat stops talking, it means he’s up to some new mischief!

And this time, it wasn’t just any ordinary mischief!

This kid, without a sound, had actually poked a hole in the sky!

He directly sabotaged an entire country’s space launch mission!

”This kid...”

Liu Jianguo’s mouth twitched as he popped the quick-acting heart-saving pills into his mouth, feeling speechless, both angry and amused:

”His fate is too wicked... truly too wicked...”
