Incredible Insight: Toy Factory Discovers Swarm Drones

Chapter 215 Win-Win Situation”I want to place an order! A big one!”

Rajesh’s voice came through the internet; although it carried a thick curry accent, the urgency and boldness within it couldn’t be hidden.

”I want a thousand.”

’How are these just a thousand toy sky rockets? These are clearly a thousand extremely precious technology demonstrators!’

’As soon as I get these thousand finished products, I can immediately have those hundreds of scientists at ISRO split into groups to dismantle, research, and map them out.’

’Even if we break nine hundred of them during dismantling, as long as we can reverse-engineer them from the remaining hundred, it’ll be worth it.’

’Then, we can follow the pattern and scale up these technologies proportionally!’

’By then, forget sixteen satellites on one rocket; I’ll have the confidence to send up thirty-six!’

This was his plan.

Using the money for toys to buy the core technology of a major power’s heavy equipment.

These thousand materials were enough to serve as a reference for that group of idiot scientists; one might even say they were more than enough.

Li Jiajun nodded, his fingers tapping on the tabletop as if calculating the cost. ”Since you want so many, Big Brother, we’ll have to talk about the price.”

”As you can see, the materials used in this sky rocket are quite solid.”

”The Pangu Engine, eagle feather attitude control, Dragon Scale composite shell, and that ’Fairy Scattering Flowers’ high-grade fuel.”

”Every single component is the result of my painstaking efforts.”

While setting the stage, Li Jiajun quickly calculated in his head.

Then, he held up one hand.

”Fifty thousand!”

He quoted a price he thought was already somewhat unscrupulous:

”Fifty thousand RMB each! No haggling!”

”And that’s only because you’re ordering so many; for anyone else, it would start at eighty thousand at the very least!”

After quoting the price, Li Jiajun was actually a bit nervous.

After all, spending fifty thousand on a firework would seem absolutely insane to any normal person.

He was even prepared for the other party to haggle, and was ready to reluctantly drop the price to forty thousand.

However, the next second.

”Deal!”

Rajesh almost roared those words, so fast it was as if he was afraid Li Jiajun would regret it and raise the price.

At this moment, Rajesh was overjoyed, even wanting to do a Bollywood dance in his office.

’Fifty thousand? Only fifty thousand?! Oh my lord shiva! This is practically giving it away!’

You should know that on the international arms market, even the most ordinary man-portable missile starts at hundreds of thousands of US dollars.

’Although this sky rocket is only the size of an arm, isn’t every piece of technology inside it priceless?’

’If we buy these technologies, forget fifty thousand RMB; even five million USD would be a massive profit!’

’This Chinese is indeed a silly kid who only knows technology and not market prices! He has no idea how valuable the things he’s made really are!’

Rajesh mocked Li Jiajun wildly in his heart, feeling like the shrewdest businessman in the world.

He could complete that deadly mission and master core technology at an extremely low cost; he was truly winning big.

”Fifty thousand it is! That’s very fair!”

Rajesh suppressed the smile at the corners of mouth, trying hard to look like ”I can barely accept this price.”

’Heh, he agreed so easily. It seems he really wants them.’

Li Jiajun had a plan in mind.

On the surface, he gave a thumbs up. ”Prompt! I like straightforward people like you, Big Brother! Since the price is settled, let’s talk about the payment method.”

Speaking of payment methods, a flash of imperceptible cunning crossed Rajesh’s eyes.

He cleared his throat and rubbed his hands together, saying:

”Mr. Li, you see, this is our first time cooperating.”

”Although I trust you very much, when it involves such a large sum of money, I also have to account to my... family.”

”According to our local business customs, and also to show my sincerity.”

Rajesh paused and threw out the bait he had long prepared:

”I’m willing to pay a fifty percent deposit first! That’s twenty-five million RMB!”

”The remaining balance will be paid in full immediately after the goods arrive and are inspected without error!”

After speaking, he stared intently into Li Jiajun’s eyes, afraid the other would refuse.

In his eyes, this was a perfect plan.

Give half the deposit first to give Li Jiajun a taste of sweetness and make him work desperately.

Once the goods reached Curry Country, on his turf.

Hehe.

By then, he still wants me to pay the balance? In his dreams.

He would use all sorts of excuses, like ”wrong color,” ”damaged packaging,” or ”bad mood,” to directly refuse payment and even countersue for compensation.

Anyway, the goods and the technology would be in hand; this half of the money was all he intended to give Li Jiajun.

This was the wisdom of Curry merchants, a zero-dollar purchase instinct carved into their bones.

...

Ten minutes later.

”Ding!”

Li Jiajun’s phone rang with a pleasant notification sound.

He picked up his phone and saw a long string of numbers in the bank’s text message.

Twenty-five million had arrived.

Looking at that huge sum of money, the smile on Li Jiajun’s face was no longer hidden; it was the joy of a bountiful harvest from the bottom of his heart.

He waved his phone at the livestream camera and commented with deep meaning:

”family, did you see that?”

”This is what you call class!”

”A twenty-five million deposit, sent just like that!”

”Although there’s still a twenty-five million balance unpaid, I believe this Curry bro’s character is top-notch!”

While saying this, what he was thinking was:

’Twenty-five million, after costs, I’ve already made a fortune. As for the remaining balance? Heh, if I actually receive it, I’ll consider it my loss. But it doesn’t matter; what I’m sending over are semi-finished products anyway. This move is called targeted poverty alleviation—each side gets what they need.’

And over in Curry Country.

Rajesh looked at the successful transfer screen and also showed a similarly meaningful smile.

He leaned back in his chair, imagining the future where he’d use the reverse-engineered technology from these sky rockets to solve the problem of sixteen satellites on one rocket, becoming a national hero surrounded by flowers and applause.

”I won!”

”I’ve truly won big this time!”

”Not only did I complete the task, but I also saved half the money and mastered core technology!”

”Li Jiajun, oh Li Jiajun, you really are my good brother and my great benefactor!”

”Even though I’ll block you in a few days, I’ll always remember you!”

Both parties felt they had won at this moment.

The atmosphere was exceptionally harmonious, even giving an illusion of cross-border mutual appreciation, like old friends meeting late.

However, the Netizens in the livestream watched this seemingly happy ending and were as anxious as ants on a hot pan.

Although they didn’t know Li Jiajun’s plan, they knew the nature of Curry people.

The bullet chat scrolled wildly, filled with worry and anxiety.

”It’s over, it’s over! The Streamer is really going to take a fall this time!”

”Main Streamer, you’re so confused! You can take the deposit from Curry people, but you’ll absolutely never get the balance!”

”Twenty-five million is a lot, but you have to ship a thousand units! If you get scammed, you’ll lose everything!”

”Sigh, good advice can’t save a ghost determined to die. The Main Streamer’s confidence has exploded from being fooled by that Pangu Engine and ’Fairy Scattering Flowers,’ thinking he can control everything.”

”I think it’s looking grim this time; even if these toys weren’t requisitioned by the state, he’s definitely going to be screwed over by that Curry Stick!”

”Waiting for the Streamer to cry himself unconscious in the bathroom and then start his journey of debt collection.”
