Incredible Insight: Toy Factory Discovers Swarm Drones

Chapter 181 I, Wangcai, have shed sweat for the robotics industry in the East!Li Jiajun shouted toward the yard: ”Wangcai! Get your ass over here!”

Hearing the call of its master, the big yellow dog that was sunbathing twitched its ears, immediately wagged its tail, and came trotting over happily, tongue lolling out, looking at Li Jiajun with a fawning expression.

Li Jiajun ignored the creature’s attempt to act cute and instead turned to the bewildered Wang Dachui beside him, ordering: ”Go, catch me a rat. It needs to be alive, the fast kind.”

Although Wang Dachui didn’t know what the boss was planning, long-term experience told him that when the boss went crazy, just doing as told was enough.

Less than ten minutes later, Wang Dachui returned carrying a mouse trap, inside of which was a huge, lively gray rat.

Li Jiajun nodded in satisfaction, placed the cage on the open ground, and then adjusted the angle of the camera to aim at this area.

The Netizens in the live stream saw this scene and were immediately amused.

”???”

”Good heavens, hasn’t the style changed too quickly? A moment ago it was Swiss luxury watches, how did it turn into dogs and rats now?”

”What is the Streamer trying to do? Live-streaming animal abuse?”

”Don’t be a saintly moralizer upstairs, this is a rat, one of the Four Pests.”

”I think the Streamer wants to perform a ’dog catching a rat, meddling in other people’s business’ act!”

Li Jiajun pointed at the big yellow dog on the ground and the rat in the cage, solemnly explaining to the camera: ”Everyone, don’t think I’m playing around. We just solved the heart problem, and now we need to solve the cerebellum problem, which is — dynamic balance!”

He squatted down and patted Wangcai’s head: ”Everyone knows that the hardest part of a quadruped robot is balance. How to not fall while running? How to stay steady after being kicked? This all requires extremely complex AI algorithm support.”

”Although I can write code, the best teacher is always nature.”

After speaking, he suddenly opened the cage door.

”Whoosh!”

The rat regained its freedom and instantly turned into a gray flash of lightning, charging toward the crack in the corner of the wall.

”Wangcai! Get it!” Li Jiajun shouted.

Upon receiving the order, the big yellow dog Wangcai kicked off the ground with its hind legs and shot out like an arrow from a bow.

The rat dodged left and right in front, trying to use the terrain to shake off the pursuit.

Meanwhile, Wangcai displayed astonishing body control.

Sudden stops, changes in direction, jumping, and side-stepping.

Every time it turned, its body would naturally tilt to counteract the centrifugal force.

Every time it landed, its limb muscles would instantly contract and relax, perfectly absorbing the impact.

Even when slipping on the smooth concrete floor, it could instantly regain its center of gravity by flicking its tail and twisting its spine, continuing the pursuit.

Li Jiajun was not watching for entertainment at this moment.

His eyes were locked onto every detail of Wangcai’s movements.

In his vision, Wangcai was no longer just a mutt.

It had become a precise biological mechanical structure.

The contraction of muscles, the transmission of bones, and the millisecond-level transmission of nerve signals all transformed into countless flowing data streams in his eyes.

’Look at that sharp turn... center of gravity lowered, inner leg supporting, outer leg pushing off...’

’Look at that adjustment after slipping... neck muscles exerting force instantly, driving the torso to correct, this is dynamic compensation...’

’This is non-linear... this is chaotic... but this is the optimal solution!’

In Li Jiajun’s mind, countless formulas regarding posture control began to frantically arrange and combine.

Traditional robot control algorithms are based on ”dead calculations” from preset models.

But biological control is based on ”reflexes” derived from perception.

”What if...”

”What if I don’t calculate how to take every step, but instead give the motor a feedback mechanism that simulates neural reflexes?”

Li Jiajun’s pupils contracted sharply.

Just at the moment Wangcai pinned the unlucky rat down with a paw.

Boom!

That familiar, hair-raising feeling struck again.

Ding!

【You have observed the neural reflex and muscle coordination mechanism of canines, combined it with multi-modal perception algorithms, and gained insight into the optimal solution for non-linear dynamic balance! You have had an epiphany!】

At this moment, a complex and perfect mathematical model was clearly imprinted on his cerebral cortex.

It was the ultimate secret to ”stability.”

It was the soul code that gives steel life.

Li Jiajun stood up abruptly, the fanaticism in his eyes even more intense than when he was looking at the watch just now.

The Netizens in the live stream saw the protagonist actually making his factory dog perform a cat-and-mouse act, and they all burst out laughing.

”Hahaha, I actually saw a dog catching a rat in real life.”

”I have to say, the Main Streamer has so many fans now, it really knows how to create content.”

At this moment, Wangcai had actually succeeded; it carried the unlucky rat in its mouth, brought it to the protagonist, and then barked.

It wagged its tail frantically, looking at its master with a fawning expression, asking for credit.

Then, Wangcai’s expression suddenly changed; it looked frantically toward a pile of poop not far away, left by who knows who.

It looked longingly at that pile, then back at Li Jiajun, making whimpering sounds.

The Netizens burst out laughing; Wangcai was asking for a reward.

Li Jiajun took a look at the pile of poop left by some bastard in the factory and waved his hand: ”Alright, alright, good job. There’s something fresh over there, go eat it.”

Wangcai went over happily. Li Jiajun was speechless for a moment and quipped, ”A dog can’t change its habit of eating poop.”

He then rushed back to the computer, his hands typing on the keyboard so fast they left afterimages, and lines of complex code flowed down the screen like a waterfall.

He typed like this for a full half hour.

The only thing left in the live stream was the pitter-patter of keyboard typing; the rhythm felt like a stirring symphony.

The Netizens stopped posting comments, holding their breath, watching the waterfall of code flashing across the screen; although they couldn’t understand it, they were deeply shocked.

”Clack!”

With a heavy press of the Enter key, Li Jiajun stopped his hands.

He looked at the newly generated algorithm package on the screen and let out a long breath.

It was done.

A brand-new dynamic balance algorithm mimicking biological neural reflexes had been written by him.

He turned around, facing the camera, with an expression of extreme confidence and arrogance, as if he had just completed a trivial matter.

”Done!”

Li Jiajun pointed at the computer screen behind him and confidently announced to the Netizens: ”I call this algorithm ’Cerebellum No. 1’. A robot dog using this algorithm, as long as the hardware keeps up, can run and jump on any terrain! Rubble piles, ice, stairs, it will all be like walking on flat ground! Even, if I want it to, it can drift on ice!”

The live stream fell into a brief silence.

Everyone reviewed the process just now: Looked at a watch — realized motor technology. Watched a dog catch a rat — realized top-tier balancing algorithm. Is this guy even human?

Immediately after, the comments exploded.

The Netizens completely gave up resistance: ”Alright, alright, we get it. Is the next one going to be watching earthworms learn to burrow?”

”I suspect the Streamer is the true master of bionics!”

”Wangcai: I have sacrificed too much for the robot industry of the Eastern Country. So what if I eat some poop.”

Li Jiajun watched the comments, his mouth twitching.

’Earthworms burrowing? These people have quite the imagination.’ Such a thought emerged in his mind.

However, now that he had the heart (motor) and the cerebellum (algorithm), one key thing was still missing — how to combine these complex parts perfectly like building blocks, while keeping it cheap, durable, and easy to maintain.

This involved extremely complex system integration.

Li Jiajun stood up, his eyes wandering around the office, trying to find the next source of inspiration.

Suddenly, his gaze fell onto the corner of his desk, on the scattered Lego bricks that Wang Dachui had brought that day but hadn’t taken away.
